The campground was nice and convenient but my only complaint is the rule about not being allowed to leave out our pet fence. It makes it impossible to actually use the fence, if you must bring it in Everytime you take the pet inside.

Definitely need some tree trimming. Ii didn't effect my slide-outs, but I saw others where trees were touching. My spot had a tree that dropped berries all night, and the berries stain anywhere they stay long. The piknic table was unusable, covered in berries and sweeping them away with a broom was ineffective.

The campground was well maintained. The staff at the front desk were VERY helpful and pleasant to deal with. Every one here meets you with a smile. Excellent experience !

Great friendly and welcoming staff!! We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds appeared to be in need of a little need of TLC (overgrown bushes, trees and grass). We had a fenced kennel at our site and it needed to be mowed or weeded at the very least.

We have stayed here for the past 12 years — primarily because of the restaurant. Please bring it back! We can accept other things (internet not great unless close to the signal), and the grounds not kept up, but without the restaurant, there are other places we could stay.

Gorgeous facility, super great staff, love the camp dog destiny she is adorable. One thing to note space 143 is right next to what appears to be a sanctioned smoking area. This was not an issue while I was there because nobody used it but this could potentially be an issue if you are parked there and not wanting cigarette smoke coming in your RV or around your area. The paw pen was fabulous!

Beautifully landscaped. Level sites. Worst dog park I’ve seen in our 3 years of traveling. Jets not working on hot tub and it needs to be drained and power washed. Heated pool nice and clean. Restaurant closed. Like that it is gated and locked at night. Well lit.

Love the check in attendant who also helped cut a few tree branches at our site. She was great ! But please bring back the crest bar & grill. One of the main reasons we stay !!!!

We have stayed here for years even before it was KOA. Big disappointment that the restaurant is gone. Great after a long day on the road or leaving in the morning. Not much near by. But, understand a tough business to survive.

We still like the Bakersfield KOA but thought it has started to look a little run down. Also, very very disappointed that the bar & restaurant had permanently closed.

Security gate is the remaining positive feature. Groundskeeping has deteriorated from 10 years ago. Young people at front desk lack communication skills in speaking so fast no one can keep up. Restaurant failure again? Any restaurant at park is a welcome feature for RVers after long hours driving. KOA should do whatever is necessary to keep them. It was doable by private owners before KOA.

It was clean, quiet, and well organized. The staff were very friendly and had a great sense of humour. We will definitely return when we are in the area and needing an overnight stay.

3rd stay in 3 months. Easy in and out. Office staff is very helpful and friendly. Centrally located for what I'm doing in Bakersfield.

Nice place, we stay here every year on our way to Death Valley. I would have given a 10 for question 1 and a 5 thumbs up if the Crest hadn't been closed. We will be back next year.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds, showers and bathrooms were clean. The exercise room was open and clean. I was given a spot where I requested. The store was cute and had all sorts of necessities. Down side: hot tub not heated, patio area locked, restaurant closed. List of local activities out of date (Crystal Palace closed since 6 months ago). Two shower stalls broken shelves.

We have stayed here many times in the past and the main draw was the on site restaurant. It is extremely disappointing that KOA decided to close the restaurant. I have read several other reviews that have expressed the same disappointment. I hope the KOA management pays attention to what the customers are saying before they lose their customers.

Very nice campground. My only question was when I booked our site it gave me the $68.00 price for the pull through but when I check in, she told me that was an old price and I needed to pay $10.00 more. I didn’t question her but that wasn’t right. My price should have been honored. We are returning for one night on Feb 24, so I will see what happens with the pre price

My favorite stop when I'm headed home after a long trip... Prices are decent, the people are always really friendly and helpful, and the amenities are really much better than most of the "Journey" level KOAs out there. Love this place!

Staff member was very helpful and gifted each guest with a bottle of water and a chocolate treat! Site was level and easy to hook up utilities. Park was very clean. We were very disappointed that the onsite restaurant had closed since that was the main reason we chose this KOA over other Bakersfield RV parks.

Between the cats fighting and the very loud road noise, we didn't get to sleep till around 2 in the morning. The property was clean and well maintained. You need more gravel or concrete around our space, the space was a little too muddy.

Stayed overnight for a break on our trip and arrived late but no problem checking in Facility looks well maintained. Clean restrooms and showers and laundry room. We enjoyed our stay and we will continue to stay if we are in the area

Beautiful rv park in the heart of the city Nicely gated with code entry in the night. Swimming pool and hot tub. Nice and clean. Grocery stores close by. I would come back again if we're traveling closeby.

This is a huge rv park. Lots of amenities. The laundry room is like its own laundromat & the best I've seen at a KOA. Nice office. If you go for a back-in site you'll have more shade. Most of the pull-throughs don't offer much shade. Hookups worked properly. Picnic table. Sites are an alright size. This was an overnight stop so not sure on what you'd do in the area. And this is Bakersfield lol. There's a gate so it feels safe.

First impressions, this place is gorgeous! Very clean, all the grass is green and mowed. No weeds, lots of trees for a little shade. The manager was very nice and professional. We felt very relaxed at this place. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night. Not all KOA's are this nice, this one is a Gem. I will probably book her again when I travel rhis way home.
