The office staff was very nice. Offering water and candy upon check in is nice. The store was in disarray and not stocked well. No more restaurant. No more escort to your site. The long sites need to be graded. A lot of standing water after a rain. Also, the sandy tracks in your rig.

We were disappointed that the restaurant/bar was permanently closed. We had stayed in Oct 2025 and enjoyed it being right there.

Very nice campground. Level site. People in the office/store were friendly and helpful. Large campground with pool, laundry, and exercise room. We would come here again.

Easy, fast and friendly check in. Clean bathroom and showers. The only small suggestion, maybe clean up the fitness facility. Some old equipment that should be replaced. But honestly, it was a nice surprise that there was a designated room to work out. Thank you

On-site manager was so nice and helpful! We arrived late and everything was arranged for us with clear instructions. Our spot was clean and ready.

Great place to stay. Love the paw pens!! Our dogs did too LOL! Nice clean park. Would love pizza and wings option someday. A few other KOAs have this. It is nice after a long travel day just to get something quick and right at camp. Thank you for a nice stay.

Since KOA acquired the park, the maintenance has definitely declined. Not sure what was happening in the Ladies Bathroom, but it had a horrible odor. The final straw was the closure of the Crest. Very sad. I will say, the office staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Loved my stay, excellent accommodations, had a perfectly temperature swimming pool & hot tub. Bathroom set up was excellent, tons of showers & excellent pressure. Loved that the laundry room & fitness were 24/7. Just wished there was a change machine or the machines used cards in the laundry room (I arrived after hours)

Lady at Front Desk was very nice and professional and the park is OK. But the primary reason we have stayed in this park each year in the past was to have dinner in the restaurant...which is now closed!!! We understand that if it was losing money, something had to give but without the good walking-distance restaurant being available, we won't be back.

We arrived after the office / store closed . About 5:35. I needed ice for a sprained ankle. So I called the after hours number. A very nice young woman came out to our site with a bag. This is the type of thing that no one expects anymore. Very grateful.

This was our second visit to the Bakersfield KOA. Easy to get to and the sites are spacious. This is one of our top rated KOA and will return when we are in the area.

We love staying at the Bakersfield KOA. Facilities are always nice and clean. Associates are always friendly and helpful Really need to get a new restaurant on property. We missed being able to dine at the Crest after a long days drive

The vibe was very depressing. The lights on the lamp post and at the pedestal were all dark. The vegetation on the ground are all weeds and mostly dead. The ground under the RV is uneven and needs to be rack flat. The fire ants were all over the ground and biting us on the leg. Our main reason for staying here was The Crest. And it is closed.

Nice facilities and clean pool. Staff was friendly. They need to periodically clean the power poles at the sights. When we opened to plug in we were greeted with spider webs and a large black widow spider wnd nest

Your park is wonderful and it was easy to navigate and get in and out of the only thing that we found in a negative manner was the smell. A verystrong vinegary smell.

Great property to stay at! Clean, well maintained, quiet, well accommodating and very friendly staff. The General Manager, Cheri went above and beyond for us while we stayed. Keep up the good work Cheri, we can see how much pride you take in running your property. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice staff, sites are level, hook ups are in good condition, Restaurant that was on site has closed This is one of the reasons I have used this KOA in the past in order to avoid unhooking.

For a simple get away KOA is a great way to go. Very clean and a lot of amenities. Pool & hot tub, laundry, dog fenced areas. Camper RV hookup. Easy to sign in and out. Most of all we felt safe. We will definitely be using KOA again. Thank You!

Me and my wife has been rving for 25 + years and we have been a KOA member for most of this time. The reason we like KOA is the activity that they have eg ice cream socials pancake brakefast. This KOA had nothing but they were ready to collect money for everything. I will not stay here again

Campground very unkept. This used to be a great place to stay. Grass is sparse, little watering, sites are unkempt, parking is terrible for visitors. My daughter was there to pick us up and we got called immediately to pay or move somewhere. Slightly rude. Owners were nice but we heard this has been changing hands and a three year process...only good thing is the gate closes at night.

Not to be repetitive, but most of the recent posts mention the decline of conditions here. They are not wrong. We've come here several times since 2018 and won't be returning until reviews improve substantially. Restaurant closed, trees and landscaping in terrible shape, unimproved wi-fi, sad to see the decline. Other local options to try.

We only needed to stay 1 night, but the location was great. It was very quiet, easy to hook up, and the showers were good.

it was a quick overnighter on our way home. You do hear road noise if you are near the front. Well kept considering you are basically in a desert. Sandy dirt and scrubby grass. Just an FYI if you hate sand in your RV. It has great PAW Pens and amenities.

We are on a long coast to coast journey so we stayed here a couple of days to rest and it was very enjoyable. The shower rooms are very nice and I did laundry which was very clean. Overall a nice stay and I would recommend

We previously stayed at this campground prior to it being a KOA. We were disappointed with the overall decline in both appearance and maintenance. Trees and landscape were not or poorly maintained. The hot tub/spa was not working. The north side of the facility was closed where we had previously camped. The restaurant had permanently closed. The water supply was shutoff for one day.

Office ladies were very professional. Office and pool is very clean. Grounds were very unkept. Needs landscaping clean up.

This is a huge rv park. Lots of amenities. The laundry room is like its own laundromat & the best I've seen at a KOA. Nice office. If you go for a back-in site you'll have more shade. Most of the pull-throughs don't offer much shade. Hookups worked properly. Picnic table. Sites are an alright size. This was an overnight stop so not sure on what you'd do in the area. And this is Bakersfield lol. There's a gate so it feels safe.

First impressions, this place is gorgeous! Very clean, all the grass is green and mowed. No weeds, lots of trees for a little shade. The manager was very nice and professional. We felt very relaxed at this place. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night. Not all KOA's are this nice, this one is a Gem. I will probably book her again when I travel rhis way home.
