Campground Reviews

Camped in a travel trailer. If you like living off the grid, this KOA is for you. Minimal to no cell service, wi-fi and no cable. But if you hang out near the office entrance wi-fi is so so. Our site was not level and was muddy due to lots of rain. The dog park was not in the campsite area. The hosts were nice.

The site I had was very unlevel and required I used my leveling blocks and auto leveler. The electric pole was partially knocked over and over frowns with bushes

We were only going to stay one night but have extended for another week! The staff are accommodating and kind, the bathrooms and public areas were so clean, and the pool was a huge hit with our kids!

Sites were very small for big rigs. Just barely fit in site. Was told they were there before big rigs started coming in. We were right on top of the site next to us. Their slide out came over our patio. Their electric wiring was sitting on top of the ground. Park needs a lot of updating. Staff was friendly.

For the very high price of a tent site we were disappointed to find quite a bit of litter on the ground on our site when we arrived, the showers in the main building were very weak and often changed temperature or went off completely during the shower, and the WiFi also rarely worked. Location is great, is wooded and has lots of options for sites, appreciated the simple free breakfast

The tent sites are not sand pads but dirt/rock and not level. There are not enough bathrooms to accommodate the amount of tent sites and cabins. No water spigot to fill water only sinks in pavilion. Very old facilities. Half the machines in the arcade do not work and the coin change machine is out of order. We are avid Koa campers (tents & rv) and this is the worst campground we have experie

We generally enjoy our stay at the Whitefish KOA. We were a little disappointed this year that the rates increased significantly and the wi-fi coverage was fairly poor--only able to get meaningful wi-fi use right near the office/Buffalo Bob's. Also, no more bacon or sausage for breakfast :( Bathrooms are clean and and we appreciate the other amenities!

The playground is awesome. The whole area is beautiful but I just wish that there was a bit more privacy at each campsite.

Fabulous campground, the site we had was large, with a wooden deck. Lots of trees just a bueatiful restful place to stay. Easy to get around and close to Glacier National Park.

Everything was amazing and the staff was super helpful with anything we had questions on. Our three kids enjoyed all of the activities that were available. We can't thank you enough for everything.

This is the coolest KOA! They have everything, and it is such a family friendly down to earth environment. There is an entire pizza restaurant, along with games and video arcade, mini golf, a swimming pool, a great playground area. And they offer a really great free breakfast in the morning, it isn't your typical continental breakfast with a few croissants and fruit, it was a full breakfast!

Whitefish is an example of Campground in decline. Sewage can be smelled around the campground from time to time grass and brush overgrown around many of the campsites showers don’t function as they should. Hot tub is empty in the middle of June.

Very nice. Staff helpful. Great breakfast.

The location is very convenient. The KOA has lots of amenities for kids and the folks who work there are really nice.

I have a love-hate relationship with this KOA. The tent campsites were pretty & in a great spot but you were paying a lot for just a dirt clearing & fire ring. There were also many family friendly games. However, the bathrooms were the worst I’ve ever seen at a KOA. The tent site bathrooms were awful and to shower we used the general store bathrooms which was a trek. Overall, not the best KOA.

Great site, beautiful area and food options on site! Staff was very helpful with Glacier information and Robin and Emily were a pleasure to deal with.

This was by far our best KOA experience and we’ve been to many of them across the country! Emily set us up with the perfect site for our situation, Bob, Troy, and the rest of the staff were overboard accommodating to us and made us feel like family! I can’t say enough about the staff and the facility. Highly recommend it

wonderful park excellent setting. quiet off the highway Great for family's with all the complimentary use of bicycles and pedal carts. A suggestion would be a dog park/ run. Also the showers could use a little more pressure and hot water. Overall those are minor things. The on site Pizza place was excellent which served a complimentary breakfast! Excellent!

Worst koa I’ve been to for tent camping. Tiny spots way back in the weeds barely enough room to park a compact car or even drive in to the area. Actual tent spot was an uneven pile of dirt. $70 for a weeknight. Good luck.

Wow, what a great place! Spent 10 days here and everything was awesome. The amenities and the location and most importantly the staff were all amazing. Nestled between Kalispell and Whitefish makes exploring so easy. If you stay, you will not be disappointed.

Nice, well-maintained campground. All the staff was helpful and friendly.

We felt secure. KOAs are safe places.

We paid $70 for a very small dirt/gravel parking spot where we had to park car and setup our tent. Although the site advertised electric and water, there was none. If you had a camper where you were sleeping inside (rather than on gravel) and used the hookups I could understand the cost, but $70 to pitch a tent on a gravel pullout is ridiculous. Would not stay there again nor recommend.

Staff was extremely helpful and cheerful during our five day stay. We really enjoyed the free breakfasts and one night we ordered pizza from their restaurant. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Nice campground, great breakfast and great staff. Need to improve showers, they were cold.

Our stay was nice. Didn’t get to use most of the facilities as the weather didn’t cooperate. The “free” breakfast was filling. The food was good. Nice clean campground and sites. KOA campgrounds are getting Expensive. Signage was lacking on the southbound 93 hwy to give any forewarning the campground was approaching.

The staff were so kind. The campground is beautiful. We had a lot of fun playing games and walking around. Breakfast was incredible!! We are excited to come back with our kids.

Camping ground was good, but the shower water was not stable and weak. No place to ride bicycle

Wow! What amazing hosts and facilities!! We are a local family and took a "stay-cation" here and it is our new favorite activity/accommodations spot in the valley! Disk golf, mini golf, swimming, giant chess, arcades, pingpong, bikes, gift shop, etc THEY HAVE IT ALL!!!! To camp and have unlimited activities was the same price as an afternoon at a mini golf course. 100% recommend

This is a nice RV park, very secluded in the woods. You can still hear road noise, but you definitely feel like you're in the forest. Make sure to have satellite internet because there is absolutely no reception until you get to the main road. The spots are really tight too, it was a show watching people try to get these enormous rigs into tiny spots. It is something to pay attention to if you're bigger than 32 feet, we stayed at the entrance back in spots, and while it was tight, it was definitely better than some of the spots in the middle. Deer and turkey on property too.

Danke Danke
