Great facilities. Only found that another camper played loud music non stop from 2pm to 10pm. Thought someone from management would have asked them to turn it down. Didn't want any trouble so we put up with it.

Only stayed over nite The reviews I read with negative shower bathroom laundry were wrong. We do we KOA was super clean no mystery looking mold dirt bugs. Definitely will stay again if we cross this way

We enjoyed our stay in Wendover. Ring a Disabled Veteran they did a great job with accommodations, were considerate making sure we had access to an ADA Shower. We will stay there again.

We only stayed one night with our rooftop tent, but the campgrounds provided everything we needed. The facilities were very clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

30 amp site would not even hold 20 amps. Could not run one AC even with soft start. Office person said they could do nothing but move us to a 50 amp site for an extra charge. Indicated all 30 amp sites were similar and everyone had trouble running even one AC. She had no knowledge, apparently no authority, and certainly no sympathy for the unfortunate users of this park. Recommend you avoid.

The koa is very clean and friendly. I will be very happy to stay there again

Nice site. Friendly desk clerk

We have stayed here several times. There are not enough garbage receptacles, it is very dusty and there is no longer a shuttle service. Other than that there are plenty of places to park.

It's a good place to overnight. Not much to look at as the entire place is just gravel and it can get dusty. Power and water are good. The pool looks very inviting. The bathrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. But it is not a place for a long term stay.

The spot was great. Staff were very friendly. Only complaint - stickers and sticker bushes so prevalent in the main dog walk area and the enclosure made it hard to use them. Everything else is great.

Only a 1 night stand on a cross country trip. Only 2 dumpsters in entire campground, and they were overflowing. Need more dumpsters!
Aug 16, 2023
Really one of the worst KOAs. Needs to be updated to keep up with other KOAs. Bypass this one till they make some investments.
Aug 16, 2023
Very nice park. Clean updated bathrooms. Level pull through sites. Close to the red garter casino and main Street. Has a pool. Saw the Wendover Army Airforce Base and Bonneville salt flats at exit 4 in Utah. Remember the town is on mountain time

Great place, staff of very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to restaurants and casino. Very well kept campground. We stay here anytime we are traveling through the area.

Unfortunately I have to say it is only a good place for a quick stop over. I would definitely not recommend for anyone with a dog. The dog park is awful and there really is no place to walk your dog comfortably.

It’s convenient to highway 80 and they have a nice pool.

Site was level and bathroom facilities were clean! Will be staying here again

Great for a one night stay. I don't recommend it for a long term stay. 50 amp and gravel site were fine. Showers and restrooms were clean and the store stayed open until 10. Didn't use the pool but it look inviting.

Comfortable stay

Nice place, the campsite could have been a little bit more level

This is one of the best we have stayed at. The staff is always very friendly and willing to help any way possible. It’s very clean (park, bathrooms, pool, etc). We have stayed there 2 years in a row for speed week and will do so again.

Very welcoming.

Great campground, great staff, anything you might need is within a mile if it's not at the KOA store! Undoubtedly their busiest week of the year (I think it was 100% full a couple of nights) and everything ran smooth as clockwork as far as I could tell. I will without hesitation recommend this campground and will absolutely stay here again. Speed Week, YEAH BABY!

VERY helpful, easy sign in, friendly, amazing, had people cleaning and doing all kinds of support for site. Dogs area's were ALWAYS stocked, and well picked up, hopefully by dogs owners, very few weeds, one area has a 4 foot fence and other area has a 6 foot fence for the olympic challengers. Restroom and showers are clean and stocked very well.. stayed 5 days perfect

This is a well kept older campground. There are not many 50 amp locations. The staff was very nice.

Great location, accessible to restaurants and shops. The facilities are very well kept and the staff is super friendly! I called last minute with a request for a stay and Lucy was wonderful to work with. I would certainly stay here again.
Aug 11, 2023
Lucy and the other workers are all exceptional. I will stay here continuously with people like them working for the KOA. Grounds were good, pool clean, as well as the bathroom and shower areas. Best place by far to stay in West Wendover

Usually an overnight stay. Coming & going on travel trips to & from Nevada. Staff always helpful & friendly. Clean bathrooms!! Thank you very much! Will return.
Aug 10, 2023
Great park and staff. Suggestion: GPS mutilated how to find your entrance. At the wrong turn to the road by the back gate, put a KOA sign directing people to the next stoplight and take the 3rd exit in the round about. The only way to get turned around is to drive through that RV sales business.

Just a short one night stay on our way to the midwest. Very nice and friendly staff attendant. Quiet spot and easy to get in and out of.

Liked the pool, checking quick and easy, clean Bath rooms only downside is all the stickers in the gravel getting stuck in shoes and feet

Clean and easy to maneuver. We arrived late while passing through and check in was seamless. Quiet and clean.
Aug 01, 2023
We had a great night's stay. The pool wasn't the clearest, but there were strong winds the afternoon we stayed, so I attribute the debris to that. Only room for improvement/suggestion would be to have a code for the laundry facilities so those of us that arrive late could still do a quick load of laundry.

Sites are minimal. Could use and update.

Rocky and hot. Noisy trains.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.
