I was camped by the office. There was a car that kept coming back and forth parking at the office. The 2 guys looked very shady and suspicious. I was very uneasy about this park.

Just an overnighter, very nice and clean and dog friendly! 4.5- 5 stars for what it was. I prefer trees but this is Nevada!! Also, host contacted me day of to make sure I was taken care of. Very friendly!

Excellent, lady at counter very helpful!

I wish all hosts were as helpful and friendly as the lady who took care of us. She gets 5 stars for sure. The rv park was clean and tidy. The only drawback was the park is a little bleak. It's okay for a one night stop but I probably wouldn't spend a week there.

I only rented a tent site for the night but I had a chance to check the place out and this is a great campground and RV park. Hot showers, friendly staff and campers, cabins and tent sites at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend.

I had trailer issues and had to make a last minute reservation here. I was here for 2 days waiting for my help to arrive from out of state. Everyone here was amazing, especially Lucy. The restrooms were immaculate and the showers were hot and clean.

The stay seemed pretty normal at first. Then while setting up my camper at night come to find out the entire place is covered with mature goat heads. Stuck in the dogs feet our shoes and tires. The people are extremely nice and food is near by.

Not pet friendly. Internet was mostly not working. Right side tires on RV were off the ground in order to get level. Gravel and dirt base was miserable.

Would like to see paved interior roads. Upgrade more of the sites to 50 amp. Office staff was great. A vast improvement over our past stays.

I love staying here! So peaceful with beautiful views in every direction. And great bird watching too. Thank you!

We have stayed there many times. The property seems to be slowly deteriorating. My biggest complaint is the amount of dog poop around the pet run. As many times as we have been there, we never saw so much crap.

Clean and organized resort. Open year round; staff is knowledgeable and communicates well; pricing matches facilities. Lots of amenities for different aged or demographic travelers. Cabins included. Walking distance to many businesses/casinos. 1 block from main thoroughfare of West Wendover. Check out Air Museums and Roses Furniture thrift/antiques 68 1st St, Wendover, UT 84083. Taco stands, too!

2 things that are fairly unforgivable at a KOA 1 bull thorns/goat heads or whatever you want to call them, the Wendover KOA is infsted with them, picking them out of my feet constantly after my shoes loaded up on them and deposited them in the carpet. They stuck and need to be rid of.. 2 the dog area, no one has emptied the poop can for days and it was full to overflowing, and no poop bags

Very comfortable and welcoming the lady in the office very easy to work with

We have camp there for a lot of years. Always friendly staff. They take their time with you on the phone and the store and bathrooms are very clean. We will be going back next season. Thank you all at KOA Wendover.

The campground looks neglected. There’s weeds everywhere and as such there are goathead stickers everywhere which got caught in my shoes and in my poor dogs feed constantly. The pool is in a state of neglect. The office person was 15 minutes late opening the office which caused a small delay in our trip. She wasn’t friendly. Usually our stays at koa campgrounds are great. This was disappointin

Actually had grass and nice space. Will stay again.

Very nice, clean efficiently run campground. Close to Bonneville Salt Flats. Wendover has several casinos and many other amenities. We had a nice quiet stay here.

Lucy is great to deal with when checking in. She is very helpful. The bathroom facilities are clean. The park is just dirty/dusty in general with quite a few goathead stickers throughout the park that make their way into your RV. A little grass at the sites would be nice with a bit of "clean" gravel to park on. We also enjoy our stay its just not our favorite park because of above noted items.

The people were very friendly and the laundry and restrooms were very clean. The park area was kept up also. The only bad thing is the Wi-Fi could only be used at the office which was uncomfortable

Standard cabin. Nice and clean. Restrooms are too far away. No fresh water available near cabins.

Wi-Fi was advertised but not really available in any capacity to be considered functional. Other features were adequate.
Oct 07, 2023
Park only has 5- 50A power lots. Everything else is 30A throughout. Hard for a class A motorcoach to function on 30A, which we did. This is just an average KOA. Gravel everywhere. We probably would look elsewhere if we were in that area again. This KOA needs a lot of work to bring it up to typical KOA standards.

At $51 for water/electric only, it is severely overpriced. Got there at 3:22 and the office was closed, note on door said back at 4pm. Clerk came back at 3:55. We found our site assignment on the door and went and parked. Decided to unhook because it was easier than getting out several stacks of levelers to raise the back. Did two loads of laundry, $3 per load, very reasonable. All machines were working. Washers are newer. Dryers are like from the 1970's but still work! Bathrooms screamed 1970's but were clean and everything was working, though all the drain stoppers had been removed. Showers were clean and did get hot, but be careful because the water gets scalding. Recreation room locked up and just being used for storage. Pool closed for season. Mini-Golf fell into disrepair and long since abandoned. The dumpster area doesn't have a dumpster, just 4 trash cans. Cheaper than a dumpster I guess. Walked by the cabins and peeked in, noticed how clean the windows all were. Everything is clean. But maintenance is neglected. Picnic tables are weather worn and peeling. Broken screens on cabins. Door to sink room broken. Some outside lights don't work and looks like copper has been stolen from some street lights. The place was mostly deserted, we were on the north side which is water/electric only and by morning there were just 3 occupied sites out of 6 entire rows. The full hook-up sites on the south side were fuller but there were still 4 empty rows. Maybe the place is more seasonal. Place is located behind the Red Garter Casino but is very quiet. There is a 'Night Watchman' booth at the entrance but it is abandoned. There is a yellow KOA standard sign on the wall with the phone number to the manager but it is so old that it doesn't have the area code. Not even sure if you could dial 7-digits and have a call connect? Went into the office once the clerk came back and got officially checked in. All the coolers and freezers in the store are empty and un-plugged. Very little for sale in the store. Again, maybe they are more seasonal. A young couple who were car camping came in and asked how much it was for just a shower and how much for a tent-site. $10 for a shower, $40 for a tent site. I almost invited them to pay for an extra vehicle and stay in our site but they left before I was done checking in. I felt bad for them. This place was only ever 20% occupied. I'd have given them a tent site with showers for $20 if I were that clerk. Adjacent to the park on the south side is another section of trailers and mobile homes for permanent residents. To be able to use the dump site you have to drive out via the in-lane. Then you have to go past the abandoned night watchman shack to turn around and drive back in via the out-lane. And whoever does maintenance is un-skilled. I saw several sidewalks with plumbing running on top of the original sidewalk and then more concrete slathered on top of that so that you don't trip on the pipes. Who does that?

Spring 2024 - My husband and I spent a few days at the Wendover KOA in early spring, so the park wasn't bustling with activity. While we didn't utilize many of the amenities on offer, we found it to be quiet with average interior roads and access easy to navigate, albeit showing signs of wear typical of many KOAs. Our AT&T cell service worked great.

We arrived after the office had closed. But after reading the reviews I wanted to meet the manager or owners. I met Lucy the manager. There was not many campers buy she had placed our camping spot with a space btwn us and the other camper, that was very considerate of her. Showers very clean and the water pressure was great. I give this spot a thumbs up! 👍
