Campground Reviews

The KOA itself is a nice park, most of the people there are very friendly. I was against the wall to Benson Hwy, and that road is always busy, you do hear trains occasionally. So best to be in the middle of the park. Grapefruit, lemons and oranges you can pick from the trees. All in all, the park is nice, surrounding area, not so much.

Stayed overnight. Very nice resort! The pickleball courts looked new and very nice showers and bathrooms. Didn't use the pool, but it was very nice and heated. Was fun to pick an orange off the tree! Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We have stayed here before and looked forward to coming again. We ended up with the only site that had a dirt patch where you parked your vehicle. Every other site had a paved or pavered parking spot. This was significant for us as we travel with our dogs; it was raining, and the dogs got very dirty and brought mud into our RV and tow vehicle. This was supposed to be a premium site.

We love it here! It just a comfortable park, everyone is friendly and there is lots to do. Stayed a month this trip, maybe we’ll stay 2 months next time!

BIG. Great place to stay. Friendly staff and really nice having the K9 enclosure for our pups. Also super Johnny on the spot with the trash pickup. We would definitely seek this place out for another stay.

White goateed propane guy must have had a bad day. I said, "How's it going?" He just shook his head while filling my tanks. He then went to his cart and radioed "Seven gallons and nobody's here." I said "Hey, I'm right here!" The two gals in the restaurant were great, but way overworked. The service was slow as the place is understaffed. Was the same a couple of years ago when it was Mexican.

This is an excellent RV Resort. The staff was very accommodating as we had to take “Tactical Pause” on our journey East because of ice and freezing temperatures. They went out of their way to allow us to stay 3 additional nights. The K9 facilities, small dog parks, waste bag stations and dog wash made the stay for my two Golden Retrievers friendly and fun. The Laundry facilities were excellent

This park is definitely a resort! It has everything and it is very dog friendly. Even the lowest price site has a concrete pad with a table and chairs. Love the palm and citrus trees. Very nice pool and hot tub and we felt very safe

Beautiful KOA. Great staff, friendly and fast check-in. Well maintained. Will definitely be back!

This is one of the best KOA I have stayed for a long time, however the one I have found the most noisy place for dogs barking all day long . I would give a 10 for this KOA but you must do somethings about the dog noise.

Beautiful place. Friendly staff

We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, restaurant and laundry! It’s the best KOA we have ever been to! We would definitely book again if we get back to Tucson!

This is a lovely campground with great service! Our go to place when in Tucson.

After reading so many positive comments we were surprised how miserable the front desk and many of the employees were. Although the photos look good we found the towering roofs containing the solar panels very oppressive The campsite is not located in a very good area and the walls around it had razor wire on them

Nice clean facility with lots of amenities that we didn't use.

I love staying here whenever we are passing through this way with our trailer. The people that work here are very friendly and professional. This is the best place that we have stayed in, in our 20+ years Rving. It is so clean and each spot is so level. We will definitely be back.

No hot water in shower Tuesday morning. This is the second year this has happened....

This is our second year with Tucson KOA. It's still clean & spacious. Most of the staffs were friendly & helpful. Like the fruit trees along each RV site. We are snow birds & will probably returned next year but not stay as long. There's great hiking trails & tourist attractions near here. Guadalajara restaurant chains are absolutely to die for.

Site 1508 was awesome. Complete patio/chairs/table and fireplace. Good shade and lots of staff around if we needed anything.

This is by far one of the very best KOAs we’ve ever stayed at and we traveled full time to all the lower 48 states for 7 years. Sites are nicely spaced apart and this park is full of amenities. Staff was wonderful and many sites even have their own fruit tree. Well done, Tucson.

Booking and checking in was easy and clear. Pricing was reasonable. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Site was course gravel and level. Lots of amenities. Access was good although nearby road construction was bit restrictive. Would recommend.

Showers could use updating, they remind me of old high school gym showers. For the price charged here I was expecting more like individual shower rooms. Overall a well kept KOA.

All was good with the KOA itself but beware if you stay at a corporate KOA and you end up in the hospital and have to cancel your stay while there corporate will give no refunds. As soon as you leave with no refund they re-rent out your spot and make double off it. Corporate of course needs money as you know so they can pay their CEO.

Our 4th time at this park and will stay again! Construction on the roads around the park is a nuisance but the park is convenient and comfortable

Beautiful place to stay. Lots of amenities and everyone is so very nice and helpful. Will go back again and again!

Absolutely the nicest KOA ever. Great staff, Great sites. Looking forward to coming back.

We stayed 2 nights... love having access to the pool, exercise room, and clean, well-equipped shower stalls. Having fruit trees and a restaurant with good food on-site is also a wonderful bonus.

Great spot. Well maintained. Will return.

Maintenance crew keeps grounds clean. Cindy does great keeping bathrooms clean. Amy at front desk very rude. No people skills. Should not deal with the public.

Place is beautifully maintained, people are all very friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The fruit trees were phenomenal.!! and neighbors were all very friendly felt safe and secure. sites were large and enough space between campers picked up your trash every morning facilities were very clean and the restaurant was very good.. close to all major shopping

We only stayed for one night at the Tucson KOA Resort since it wasn't our final destination, but we were so glad we did. The campground was peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, and very clean. Everything was well maintained, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of travel. The Tucson area itself is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning mountain views in every direction. Waking up to the beautiful desert scenery.
