Grounds were nice but there was little (no) shade at our spot and the spaces were a bit close together.

The facility was clean, well taken care of, and everyone was awesome. I felt very welcomed and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed at 10 KOAs on our cross country trip. This, by far, is the best one we have been to. The sites are level, the staff is kind and helpful, the grounds are clean and manicured, and the pool is sparkling clean. This is the standard that all KOAs should be at and the owners should be commended. We will definitely be back!

The only draw back is the road noise was really loud and it was hard to get decent sleep.

Was great friendly staff very informative advised us of a potential severe weather warning very appreciate of that did not understand by there was a fee to swim in the pool but other then that was a wonderful stay wish i could have stayed a bit long then 1 night

Three miles out from the campground we blew a tire on our camper. We limped into the campground and got our spot. The owner and the maintenance man let us borrow a jack and an impact wrench. Helped us line up new tires from the local Firestone store and to replace all four tires on our camper. They went above and beyond what would be expected. We appreciate everything they did to help us.

We had an RV issue so this wasn’t a planned stay. But we were handed quite the gift by landing here!! Charlie the owner was so accommodating and helpful during our stay. It was like having a living guardian angel. The campground was beautiful, clean, quiet. We would recommend it to everyone and definitely go back!

The rock road approaching your business was rough and dusty. Also, if a longer rv departed right from your place, they would come to a railroad track that would drag the tail of the rv. Otherwise the facility was nice.

No one there to check us in at 2:30 in the afternoon. Would like to have someone to tell us about the area, etc. No trees to provide shade. Very impersonal place.

We stayed at Capitol KOA this year on July 4. The campground personnel were very accommodating and the campground has clean, well-run, with a beautiful pond and picnic area. They had the most spectacular fireworks I have ever seen at a campground. Would definitely stay there again!

The only negative is the hours the office is closed for “lunch”. The staff was very accommodating, grounds are clean and tidy as are the ponds, laundry and restrooms. Would love to see more trees at the camp sites tho.

Too much road noise, trucks beeping backing up constantly. Office was not staffed enough during the day. Often gone for 3 hours in the middle of the day, closing early on a holiday weekend. No gate or check at entrance to park. Unsafe. Little shade.

Arrived very late but everything was in order for us to find out site, which was very quiet. We, being from Miami, wanted to try Kansas BBQ, so we asked the host when we made the reservation. He very graciously recommended ´The Blind Tiger ´ and we were not disappointed. Very friendly and courteous host.

The office staff was very kind. There is much heart in maintaining the campgrounds natural beauty. This is a Journey off a highway with a lot of jake braking on an industrial road. The roads are not maintained outside the campground, but once we were there, the campground roads were well maintained. Visit the state's capitol building, interesting. Most tourist sites closed on Monday as usual.

It was good. My son enjoyed this fishing ponds (had lots of rain!) and we were able to enjoy the pool one afternoon as well. The only thing I thought was the store did not carry many supplies or goods. It seems that other KOA's we've been to have a good selection at the store. We didn't have syrup & they didn't have that available to buy - thought that might be a common item they sell.

We,ve booked add’l reservations over the 4th. They are very customer oriented. This is the campgrounds we stay at when in Topeka. Clean, quiet, well kept grounds and facilities.

Stopped for a night on the way back home to WV. This was the nicest camp we stayed at from WV to Utah. The people inside were friendly. Grounds were well maintained. Nice clean showers. The only thing I would have changed was the shower head in the shower. It seemed to be more of a mist instead of a heavier shower of water but when you just need a nice hot shower, feels like Heaven either way. I loved all of the decorations and the farm feel of the whole place. I wish we could have stayed longer. My kids and I LOVED the pool! It was warmer water. Very clean and open until dark. My kids also loved catching frogs here. My oldest is frog crazy and he even brought one to show me in the shower! He was so excited! Thanks for being excellent hosts and I am writing this review so we can remember this place to stop next year on our way through again!
