This park is pretty utilitarian. Nothing special about it, except the tent sites around the lake as you enter are beautifully landscaped. Staff is very friendly.

We were very close to the road, so it was noisy. The sites are very close together and it was not easy to access from the highway.

Only concern is the directions from our Garmin were incorrect and the owner mentioned that a lot of people were given the wrong directions. I suggested a note when someone registers to give them the warning and correct directions. Other than that it was a good stay.

We stayed in our 40’ class A towing a jeep with 2 dogs. We had a site with a concrete pad yet the concrete was greatly deteriorated. Besides that, we had a lot of grass for our dogs. The park was quiet and clean with a ton of grass around the property. It was a safe park for being in the city. There was freeway noise but it wasn’t overwhelming. We would stay here again!

One of my favorite KOAs to stop in at. A nice setting with lots of wildlife, bunnies, bunnies and more bunnies. Butterflies and birds everywhere. A beautiful setting setting for walking the dogs and a adequate dog park. A little noisy from the nearby freeway, but that also makes it a convent stop.

Nice KOA. Spacious and somewhat quiet. Enjoyed the ducks and geese. I wish the site was more level. We had to jack up the rear of the motorhome 4” to get level.

This is a really nice KOA! Everything was really clean and well kept up. The staff were very nice and accommodating! The pool was crystal clear! Theres so much to see here and the place is huge! I will definitely be staying here when I pass through as I do frequently.

Loved old barn & outstanding tent area -- almost made me get out my old tent! Yrailor slots: easy in & out but small plots for staying longer than 1 night. Biggest negative for our coming back would be rough roads from Ks Turnpike.

By far the worst KOA I’ve ever stayed at. My slide was about 6 inches from the next campers slide. The site had such an angle of drop off, I had to back out of my site. I stay at KOA’s because they have a consistency. Not this one.

My campsite #10 was extremely not level and when exiting my camper it was like falling out. The camper beside me had a leaking septic line. It appears that all the sites are gravel. I guess I misunderstood and thought this was a KOA Journey so I would expect better. Besides the bad site there was several good amenities.

Bathrooms need a good cleaning...such as sweep and mop the floors and showers. Make sure there's enough toilet paper in each stall.

The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. The accomodations for the guests were very nice, salt water pool, corn hole, ladder ball, horse shoes, game room, store, and facilities. For a Holiday weekend there were no "problem crowds", and the guests that I spoke with were all very nice people. We will be staying here again soon.

This is an amazing quite campground especially considering its close to such a large city. its refreshing to see a campground with picnic tables that are not all dilapidated. Defiantley will come back.

Returning home and needed a stop for one night. Had not stopped at this KOA before and was very pleased with the staff, facilities and site. If my travels take me this way and I need a one night stop, will probably stay here again.

Very nice campground with easy access to anywhere in Topeka. Be aware there is some noise from highway, trains, and an airport if you are a light sleeper. Love the saltwater pool and dog park!

Very nice campground with a pool, pond, ducks and a bridge over to the dog park. Not the fault of KOA, but hot and humid beyond belief and the Cicadas were deafeningly loud.

Stopped for a night on the way back home to WV. This was the nicest camp we stayed at from WV to Utah. The people inside were friendly. Grounds were well maintained. Nice clean showers. The only thing I would have changed was the shower head in the shower. It seemed to be more of a mist instead of a heavier shower of water but when you just need a nice hot shower, feels like Heaven either way. I loved all of the decorations and the farm feel of the whole place. I wish we could have stayed longer. My kids and I LOVED the pool! It was warmer water. Very clean and open until dark. My kids also loved catching frogs here. My oldest is frog crazy and he even brought one to show me in the shower! He was so excited! Thanks for being excellent hosts and I am writing this review so we can remember this place to stop next year on our way through again!
