We arrived a few minutes after the office had closed but someone was waiting outside (I had called earlier to get some information and let the lady I spoke with know that I wasn’t sure we would make it before the office closed. It was a very nice overnight stay. We just a had a small issue leveling our RV, but would stay again when we're driving thru the area.

It is better than staying at a Walmart because it does have full hookups. As far as amenities or access to things like a trash can…umm no. You have to hike to drop off trash ��� wasn’t convenient. Not to mention no updates for bad weather. It was just ok and if that is what journey means then success?

Cabin was clean and comfortable. Game room activities had signs on heavy use, but didn’t effect our stay. Grounds are well cared for. Very convenient location.

Nice little KOA. We stayed for a quick overnight on our way through the area. Clean, but aging, facilities. Nice staff. Fun little stocked fishing pond for the kids who caught several black bass and catfish before we turned in for the night. Was a tad noisy at night with the close proximity to the highway but not overbearing. We would stay at again.

We had a great time at Capital City KOA. The property is well maintained and clean. We used the laundry facilities and everything was in good working conditi0on. Nice pool. Friendly staff.

Through no fault of their own, it was somewhat difficult to find the campground since road construction had removed many of their signs. I'm sure this will be corrected in short time. Campground hosts and staff were friendly and attentive. When the A/C in our RV stopped working, a staff member said he would come out and help, but it turned out not to be necessary. This is good customer service.

Nothing wow! BUT had all that we needed. Neat, tidy, calm vibe to the place. Pond was nice touch and welcoming. Facilities were clean and adequate. And a good brewery just down the road.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Nice people and facilities, a good trail through the woods and of course a great brewery (Happy Bassett) a mile away.

It’s a standard RV campground. From a KOA viewpoint, not the highest rating but more of a middle rating. Only one dumpster available at the exit. Kind of use to better service at KOA with daily PO pickup. Don’t want to get pickup I give it a 3 1/2 rating.

Quick stop over en route to Denver. Tent site clean. Enjoyed the ponds and geese. Nearby highway traffic noise was present but was able to sleep well. Thank you. Would stay again.

Only used for an overnight stay. Only small issue was finding our stop, they told us what number we were at, showed us how to get there, but didn’t tell us that these were alternating pull throughs, we weren’t they ones, couple right before us pulled in wrong and realized it after we figured it out, not that it was a problem, wish we were told. Showers were clean. Would use again.

Easy on and off I 75. Nice sites, plenty of parking. Did not use facilities. We had a deluxe site with fire pit, table, chairs and a swing.

We stayed for five days over the Memorial Day holiday. Charlie, Doris, and the staff were very accommodating and helped us get a preferred spot. The amenities are very nice for a Journey-level location. The Western theme throughout the park was well-presented, even offering a hayride pulled by a vintage Farmall tractor. A good stay!

As always, Charlie and the rest of the staff keep the grounds clean and safe. The customer service we receive here are FAR above and beyond. We love staying at this campground and it's a go to for us to get away.

Pretty place with large green area and duck pond. Only issue we had was that the spot for our reservation was taken by someone else that was moved there by the manager. He didn't change our spot number on our late arrival paperwork so we had to just pick a spot.

Decent for a family. Has pool, play area, indoor amusement with games. It is close to Turnpike, but I did not hear it at all. It is out of the way, but close enough for some shopping and access to interstates.

Stopped for a night on the way back home to WV. This was the nicest camp we stayed at from WV to Utah. The people inside were friendly. Grounds were well maintained. Nice clean showers. The only thing I would have changed was the shower head in the shower. It seemed to be more of a mist instead of a heavier shower of water but when you just need a nice hot shower, feels like Heaven either way. I loved all of the decorations and the farm feel of the whole place. I wish we could have stayed longer. My kids and I LOVED the pool! It was warmer water. Very clean and open until dark. My kids also loved catching frogs here. My oldest is frog crazy and he even brought one to show me in the shower! He was so excited! Thanks for being excellent hosts and I am writing this review so we can remember this place to stop next year on our way through again!
