It was nothing like when it was privately owned No swings on the waterfront. Overpriced. No concession stand. Would at least think they’d be open on the weekends. Golf cart price ridiculous. Barking dogs. View is still hard to beat… But just a little disappointed.

Staff was great, bathrooms and site where clean and the atmosphere was unbelievable. Tall Pines is my favorite place to camp.

Our stay was great overall. A little sketchy at our WV1 site on our second night there with the coastal flooding, but we secured our outdoor equipment and toughed it out. The water did come up over our concrete pad and patio, but just rinsed everything off with fresh water the next day and we were good. After that a beautiful weekend. Staff is great! Fix the bridge to nowhere!

Grounds are well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate their honesty about the WiFi/cell situation, but it is definitely an inconvenience.

Staff is always very courteous and friendly. We stay there several times a year. Our only complaint is about the rates for camping. If they were lower we probably would visit even more.

We have stayed at Tall Pines in the past with a few previous owners, We love this place for Halloween simply because there are no bicycles, golf carts etc... allowed during the time of trick or treat. The bathhouse was in need of some attention this year but that really doesnt m atter much to us as we bathe in our camper.

Just what we needed. Such a beautiful setting. Right in the middle of everything about VA's Eastern Shore. Already planning our return. Thank you!

We stayed at one of the back-in sites by the water. Not only was the site beautiful, but the campground was very walkable and we liked that it was family oriented. We hope to return with our children, as there will be many activities for them!

Overnight stay while traveling. Site was OK (in grass area with no shade or privacy. Would have upgraded to one of the bay front sites if I was aware of them.

Well kept and clean. This was our first stay and we enjoyed it. There were a lot of full time campers and RV’s set up in most of the more desirable sites. The campground may have this noted in its description and I didn’t see it. If I had been aware of the the full time/seasonal setups I would have likely chosen a different site. All in all it was nice.

It was a very nice campground, and our site was level and a larger site than most campgrounds we have been to. Everyone was friendly. It was very clean and well kept. A shot out to Trey who was very respectful and welcoming!

The campground is small, but it is being kept up really well. Workers were out every day cleaning up, driving around making sure everything was good. Everyone was friendly. We don’t have kids, but there are quite a few activities for them. We went during the week and it was quiet . WiFi was better this time and the office ladies say there are hoping to get better reception next year.

Really great campground. Lovely pool and splash pad area, very nice showers.

Great campground, spacious/beautiful sites. Very reasonable prices (much cheaper than on Chincoteague Island, and we are only 30 minutes away). Surprisingly the pool and splash pool were still open in late September!!

absolutely perfect but please install some exit signs in your park. it's hard to tell how to get out. Most parks have lots of exit signs. otherwise what a pretty spot

Over all. Was satisfied with the Campground. May suggest. Cleaning pier 2 would be nice. Full of bird pooh. Grass was high.

We love coming and have come for years to this same campground when previous owners had it. The only thing is the bugs are so bad. They used to stay up on it and spray and we don't see this being done anymore. That is our only drawback.

I have my 41' coach and 20' closed trailer. The size is not a problem. Plenty of room and things to do very clean iv been several times and plan to return..

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
