We enjoyed our stay. The only thing that needs improvement is the WIFI connection. It is too weak to be usable.

The staff and support team were excellent! the campground and bathhouse were well kept and very clean! the only issue was the "spotty Wi-Fi" . Although it was clearly list as "spotty" a better description could be basically non-existent If you don't need the internet or bring your own this is a great place to stay..

We had a spot down by the water nice campsite very windy almost the whole week we were there. We saw some beautiful sunsets. Good place to camp

Very nice KOA. We were in Water View 3. Concrete pad with a patio and nice table/chairs plus 2 adirondack style chairs. Hookups were convenient. Roads within the cg are easy to navigate. We did not use any of the amenities but there are lots of activities for children. Our view of the sound was excellent. WiFi existed but was poor and sometimes dropped off entirely and the cg was not full.

Friendly staff, clean rest rooms and gift shop, nice clean lots, enjoyed the First Responders discount, loved the band and ice cream social, and rented a Golf cart for the weekend which made it nice to see the park; however, my only concern was the deep grading of the stones on the road which made your teeth chatter when riding around.

The people are nice, Barbara was very helpful. 2 complaint the wifi did not work the whole week we were there and the docks need repairs done on the planks.

This was my first time at Tall Pines. However, my experience at Tall Pines was nothing less than Awesome. Barbara was very informative about the Resort. She explained where everything was located on the site. The sites are very well kept and the staff that I encountered was very polite. My only con was that it is extremely dark at night. Our site was a WV site. Add a few lights.

Enjoy the quiet time during week days It would be nice to have a bridge from the beach to the pier over the stream that fills the tidal pond

I enjoyed the fire company games and the dog. The girl singing Friday night was really good and I enjoyed the band Saturday night. I appreciate all the do and am disappointed that they don't always get the participation they do deserve le with the donut eating contest. Our group would have but we just ate.

We had a wonderful time there it is a hidden gem. Our daughter had so much fun we can wait to come back when the pool is open.

No wifi!! $10/day koa charge no one could explain why??? No water for 5 hours, no notice, when asked if it was sectional or whole park, they hanged up the phone. Big park, communication sucked!! I won't be back.

Love the campground, but you really need to fix the internet/wifi situation. Has been left unattended for way too long. This creates a hardship when weather is bad as in this past weekend.

Our buddy site was great. It is nice facing the family you are with instead of going around. The temperature was a little chilly but it was still fun. There were special events for the weekend and we were staying close to everything. Really enjoyed the snack shack also.

This is a really nice campground that is well maintained and the staff was great. We stayed near the water and the sunsets were magical. We will be returning.

This is not our first time going and we love it every time. There is plenty to do but its still rustic enough to feel like old school camping. Its the perfect combination.

The location of the camp ground was great! Staff were very friendly and professional. Only issue I have were the sand fleas (noseums) and mosquitoes were more than awful when the wind was not blowing. For any one wanting to stay on the grid, the cell and tv antenna reception was very sparse.

We love tall pines from the first time we stayed. We knew it was going to be a staple in our camping. Close enough to home for easy travel of less than 2 hours but far enough away to feel the weight of the world lifted. A recommendation if the fire pit is cleaned on the last day wait until we leave. We were trying to relax and it was not pleasant and that tractor so close it scared our doggies.

In fairness it was preseason, (April 2026), but the water coming from the Spicket at my camp site shouldn’t taste like rust.

Check in bldg was great, staff at the desk was friendly and had everything squared away as usual. Only complaint would be the directions to the site given to me had me pulling into a pull thru the wrong way with hook ups on the opposite side of the rig. Just had to back out of the site and do a loop thru the section to get back the right way. Wifi was non existent, which is why we have starlink.

Such a lovely campground- we had a great weekend! Being right on the water was so nice, even on these early Spring colder days. We will definitely be back!

We were in site WV9 and had insufficient water pressure and was forced to switch over to our fresh water holding tank.

The only downside was the water pressure dropped way down each day, was not consistent. Otherwise everything went well. I enjoyed the candy bar bingo with the kids. Maybe you could do a beer bingo for the adults �. I’ve heard of that at different campgrounds.

Reception in the office was indifferent and not helpful. However, there were other people the next day that were more than helpful and very pleasant!

Beautiful campground, well kept and very clean. Staff was wonderful to work with. If you’re down on the shore, prepare yourself for high wind.

I have my 41' coach and 20' closed trailer. The size is not a problem. Plenty of room and things to do very clean iv been several times and plan to return..

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
