Staff was not friendly. “Extras” are only open on weekends. Only thing free was pool and jump pad. Did not explain things well, had difficulty figuring things out the first couple of days. Had a flood the week prior, was not notified. Bugs were terrible. The grounds were nice. Cottage was dirty when we arrived.

The campground was very clean and quiet. However, we stayed in a cabin and had zero cellphone and WiFi reception. We could not use either TV in the cabin because of the lack of WIFI. This left us isolated and in total silence while at our cabin. The store hours of 9-5 are inconvenient when check in for cabins is 3. That is only two hours. We would’ve been lost had we not just made it at 5.

Had a great time. Stayed in the deluxe cabin which worked but we were told the bed sizes before we came and there was no double on the bunk bed so we didn't bring the right size sheets. When i called we were given the wrong cabin number too. Long lines at the store. Only 1 person working and that person was rude. Lots of mosquitoes so do not forget spray or you will get eaten alive.

Another great stay at the KOA! We are a family of 4 with two young children (3 and 6). We stayed in one of the cabins, which was plenty of space. The campground itself was very nice with a splash park, fishing pier, playground, beach, etc. We even caught some crabs off of the pier. The location of the grounds was also nice - bayside and not too far from Saxis, then 15-20 minutes to oceanside.

Staff seemed friendly but our alternator went out on our car and we needed a charger so we could get it to the shop and was told they helped and we sat stranded not to mention acting like we were in the way for asking. The rental and snack shack weren't open at all during our stay. I know weekends they make more money but all amenities should be open all the time. When it rained just awful swamp

So here is the think I would have rated #1 an 8 and #2 an 4. However, Barbara who works at your front desk is not a nice person...racist in fact. She is your front line, first impression of Tall Pines and is a very poor representation. She was the talk at the pool party on 7/12 by many people of all races who recognized her behavior, including to me and my sister.

Nice place but a lot of issues around maintenance.Stove kept shutting off when you tried to cook for longer than a few minutes. The bathroom door was broken and jammed. The WiFi called “spotty” is nonexistent. Don’t bother to try and watch tv since no cable only streaming & no WiFi. The tv in the bedroom was hooked up to nothing - decorative only. Beach was nice. It rained leading everything to flood, campsites surrounded by water and mud. Bugs outside and inside our cabin. You can’t swim in the water due to stinging nettle jelly fish. The new pool was nice. Cabin was dirty and things like door handles and flooring were falling apart. It’s very far away from anywhere to eat or shop even a grocery store is 15 minutes.

Very disappointed this time. 1. Snack bar was closed Monday-Thursday and we were never told 2. Camp stores closed at 4ish 3. So much pooling water at the cabin 4. No water toys were available 5. Pool continue to have missing umbrellas 6. Stove in cabin only had a setting of 9 or 0 7. No list of included items in cabin prior to renting 8. No WIFI!! It’s 2025 and would be helpful

I will say the fireworks were stunning!! The staff this year was not as friendly as they were in years past, definitely a different vibe at check in and check out (even got a little scolded about check out at 11 when we were checking out at 10:30 NOT by the younger lady at the front she was ALWAYS super nice.) Cottage was very well kept we will be back as it's one of our fav. spots w/the fam.

We love the campground have camped in both our tent and rented cabins several times. This review is specific to our first experience renting one of the RVs and it was honestly gross and falling apart. Most blinds and screens were broken and covered in stains, the carpet was full of sand, upholstered furniture was stained and ripped. Shower head and sink faucet broken. Unit should not be rented.

Paid top $ for a deluxe cabin that includes 2 TVs that are completely inoperable due to the basically nonexistent WIFI. Front desk is very hard to reach via phone. Called for a solid week without reaching anyone or ever getting a response to any of my emails on questions prior to arrival. Also lots of jellyfish in the beach…guaranteed to be stung if you go in the water.

Cabins- great,clean, comfortable Grounds- beautiful, clean Staff-friendly Pool-Beautiful but no umbrellas for protection from sun, had my older parents there, would have been nice if they had something Wifi-Non existence which is okay for camping however, TVs in cabin never worked- which again would have been nice for older parents due to heat

We stayed in one of the cottages which are very nice. They were well equipped. We enjoyed the pier and the swimming pool. The only complaint was internet service. My only suggestion would be to put some kind of instruction sheet in the cottages on how to work the burners and coffee pot. Luckily, we got instructions on coffee pot from Cheryl beforehand. We would highly recommend. Great for kids.

I’m not to sure how I feel about my stay really, There are way to many flys around not sure why there was so many flys but there was a lot.. my stay was nice since I met up with some other family members that was also staying there so that was nice.. and very horrible cell service, we all enjoyed our time out on the water on the bikes..

The campground and amenities were great. The only downside is that the cabin we rented was infested with flies. When we arrived we were told about this issue and they said it was because the previous renter left the door open. We will probably come back to the campground but we won't rent one of those cabins again.

We had a great time. Rented a RV same one we had at halloween. Plenty of room and stocked with kitchen essentials and paper products. Noticed toilet not flushing out properly. Called within an hour and issue resolved. Campers and staff are friendly.

The cabin was perfect for our family & kids loved the pool/splash pad/playgrounds. We decided to bring waffle ball stuff for our kids and gor a little game going Saturday night next to the playgrounds. Lots of kids decided to join in and it was awesome to see kids playing outside like we did as kids. Will definitely recommend to other and will be back. Would have loved a band or at the pavillion!

I would say the price point for the safari tent 4 and 5 are over priced do to the view of the junk yard. Knock $75 to 100 off the price and it would be a fair price for the weekend. Other than that everyone was great. Im sure you will here more about the junk yard. There was people video it and commenting about it.

The facility was amazing and everyone had a great time swimming and playing on the blob. The staff was incredible and activities were great. The seasonal residents made everyone feel welcome and invited.

Arrived to find the fridge was turned off so it was hot had food to store in it and took it all night to cool down, had some food go bad while waiting. Neither tv/DVD player remote worked the devices in the cabin a problem when traveling with kids and it raining. Very limited activities on the property to enjoy. camp store was closed Everytime we needed to buy, the store was closed for inventory

It wasn't an ideal camping weekend (due to the weather not the campground fault) but the kids still had fun at the playground. My only actual complaint is that the TV in the master bedroom of our cottage had no hook up (like a firestick or DVD player) so it was really pointless to even have it hanging on the wall. I grew up at this campground and its always been my favorite around.

We had a great experience at this campsite! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was well-equipped and clearly well-maintained. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended—we would definitely come back!

We had the most amazing stay! It was so much fun for the kids while also relaxing for adults. Every single employee was so nice, the seasonal campers were all so nice and welcoming, the grounds were well kept and the cabin was clean. We have been to a lot of KOA’s but this is the only one we want to go to from now on.

We loved our stay! We stayed in one of the “Glamping/Safari Tent, and they were so cool! The campground was clean, all the facilities were kept clean, staff was always super friendly! We loved that there were different activities to do through the weekend. When we arrived, our ground was flooded out and they were able to make accommodations to not put us in a flooded tent. We will be returning!

This campground is lovely. Lots of trees and on the water. We rented the deluxe cabin. It was nice and clean. Plenty of space for us. The only thing that keeps this rating from being a five is that the wifi does not work. There were two tv's in the cabin and we couldn't use either one due to the absence of wifi. We also could not use our personal devices either. Cabin 14.

Staying in the delux cabin i would think we would have tV but since the wifi does not reach the cabins we didn't have anything so in the storm with 3 small kids it was not fun we couldn't even watch a movie as there was no dvd player. Then the camp store is closed so early and when brought up issue was told they couldn't do anything. We left saturday because of the mess.

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
