Great, wonderful setup and lay out, lots to do. Just little disappointed we were given the wrong cabin key upon check in n unable to resolve the issue for about an hour. No after-hours number so we had to ride around multiple areas to find a worker before we were able to get in touch with someone with the correct room key, had it not been resolved another renter wouldve had an extra guest incabin5

Everything was awesome but the internet service and the tv. I have to sleep with a monitor to keep a check on my heart and it uses internet so i was not happy with the service.Other than that we all had a good time

Love, love Tall Pines Koa. We have been going there fir years. Never disappointed , people are so friendly. Staff is wonderful. Could use a little up keep. More rocks in driveways for cabins. Stray for Mosquitoes they are bad in the cabins. Still love it there just a few ideas. Will continue coming there twice a year.

Mosquito were horrific. Only sprayed 1 time in my 4 days stay and that seemed to make them worse. We rented 3 cabins. I do not understand if I am paying for a cabin why I am expected to broom sweep before leaving or be charged. I have been traveling since 9/1 and renting this is the first place I have ever had to do this. Thought cleaning fees where in the rental price???

We had a great time. Only issue we had was a smell in the rv, couldn’t get rid of it. Then on Saturday we realized that our septic tank was full and we could not flush the toilet. We notify the koa and they came and pumped it within an hour. I just think this should have been done prior to our arrival and check in to avoid issues such as this from happening.

Good time there .went for the car show , Also think maybe as a suggestion that have a golf cart show added the same time so would be great that way the ones camping can get involved and have fun decorating a joining in Just as a suggestion As a member the eastern shore cruise local car club we can help next year with a show or I can get next year schedule help plan a date that has no shows

Staff were so friendly and willing to answer any questions! Our cabin and the other amenities were clean and well taken care of. Service/Wifi is spotty, but gave us opportunity to really be present during the stay.

We loved the amenities and the pontoon boat event.The bath houses were clean and arriving was seamless. However, workers were uptight. It seemed as though my camp was targeted after they learned that my youngest daughter was peeing outside in the night. Definitely something we do not condone however, the woman who approached us, was very rude and spoke down to us—shaming us. she’s a little gir

the bugs were bad ,got ate up,had a cabin with screen in proch it was still open were bugs could get in so we could not even seat on porch it was bad we will never go again. also there was nothing to do there.

We were very unlucky with weather so could not fully enjoy the campgrounds, but what we did get to use was great, especially splash pad. A few things that weren't great - The sink to wash dishes behind the bathroom was very dirty and clogged with grass and it's water spout was badly positioned. The shower heads in the main bathhouse need to be replaced, leaky, and bad water pressure

We stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was great. Very clean, ample space, nicely located to the amenities. The amenities were very nice. The pool was alot of fun. The snack bar had a very nice selection, with reasonable prices. Overall a very nice campground that I would return to. Very quiet.

The cottage was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. The mosquitoes however were terrible and if anything would keep us from coming back it would be them. Please consider spraying for them. We have never received so many bites in a weekend.

Barbara in the front office was wonderful. Very helpful and accommodating. There were activities for kids other than the pool. There used to be activities all the time during the summer. The Snack Shack hours were terrible and was closed wed. The staff other than Barbara were rude. Conversations were happening about had bad things were and who was leaving. Not what you want to hear on vaca.

The only bad thing was that cabin 10 wasn't very clean; the bathroom shower floor was dirty and smelled like cat urine. We also had family in cabin 11, and it wasn't like that.

All employees were super kind and friendly. Most of the food in general store was expired. RV definitely needs some updating. Couldn’t sleep on pull-out; it was so old, blood was literally rushing to my head. Also surprised no entertainment. Stayed here many times in past with family, and always had entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Maybe this is a KOA thing, but very disappointing.

Cottage was very clean and nice. Campground was very clean. Very laid back campground, pretty quiet especially on weekdays. Wish they had some activities scheduled on days other than Saturday.

We just returned from a quick weekend stay at Tall Pines. Quick and easy check in. Campground amenities were excellent and staff was great. Beach was ok. That said, I would not consider staying here again due to the lack of cell service and the terrible mosquito issue. We were warned about both but those were deal breakers for me. We’ll be headed to Cape Charles next year - much better stay.

Poor internet connection, too many mosquitoes probably due to alot of standing water. Nice quality Deluxe cabins. Great water splash pool, on sight boat launch & lake. 30min to Chincoteague

The unexpected lack of wifi and inability to reach anyone or be reached by anyone is a problem. We had heard great things about the grill, which is apparently only open half the week. The kids loved the splash pad and arcade and our cabin was clean and comfortable.

Kids had fun at the playground, jump pad and pool. The piers were great. Couldn't rent water bikes and no employees were ever at the rental area. Front desk employee told another guest that it was due to wind - there was no wind or gusts. Weird. Cabin = clean. Comfort stations = clean. Political flags = negative stain. No hot water in cabin 1st night, fixed in the morning. Overpriced snack bar.

We had a great time. Location is wonderful, campsite is clean and well maintained. One small comment... We couldn't check-in until 3:00 and didn't arrive until 4:00 (due to traffic delays) and made it to the park just in time before the office closed. Maybe allow check-in a little earlier, or keep the office open a little longer (6:00?).

Our cabin was great. Disappointed in the staff that checked us in. She was very negative about the reason for our visit- the pony swim- and actually talked at least two groups out of going with her negativity ( it was the reason they were there!) the “beach” leaves a lot to be desired. We did use the pool daily. Internet was worse than spotty. As a home base for the pony swim it was great.

The cabin we had was next to a stagnant drainage ditch filled with water, and there were a ton of mosquitoes. Accommodations were minimal in the cabin. I have to say it was one of the most uncomfortable stays I have had anywhere. The older cabins might be better, and the campground itself was nice.

We originally booked a tent site but it started torrential raining. We moved to an African safari tent and CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH. We had a blast!

Mosquito infested False Marketing - No rentals available all week. Waters calm as can be and employees say because of weather they aren't doing rentals. Food only available a couple days of the week, for specific hours. Beach snack shack never opens apparently. Incredibly rude staff. When asking questions we didn't receive answers. Just snarky remarks! - 2 cars should mean 2 gate passes

We are seasoned campers but we've never stayed at a KOA before. Overall, it was a very cool experience. The cabin was pretty clean and laid out well. I wish that there were fans available to rent or provided in the room because we roasted overnight. Zero airflow and it was very buggy. I would have brought my own fans had I realized this. Bathrooms also had zero airflow which was kind of gross.

This was our first experience "Glamping". the cabin was amazing. why not a 5-star review? THE STAFF! When being escorted to our cabin the lady was going much faster than the 5.5 mph posted. My son was constantly being harassed & told to slow down on our RENTED cart, even with his parents there! It took me over 30 mins to purchase a shirt because she could not find the price sheet... price tags!

I have my 41' coach and 20' closed trailer. The size is not a problem. Plenty of room and things to do very clean iv been several times and plan to return..

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
