The sites are very spacious with plenty of room to spread out. The mosquitos were really bad. We loved the splash pad and the Hurricane grill. Need to do something with the so-called freshwater pond as it is a mosquito breading area along with the drains that the water just sits in. Would suggest putting in some kind of mini golf course. Downside is it is in the middle of nowhere but quiet.

We so enjoyed our stay!!!!! The staff and seasonal folks are so nice and friendly. We enjoyed so much booked for a longer stay next year and even put our name on the list to become a seasonal. Looking forward to next summer.

The campground is great. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was mosquitoes. We stayed last year and there were bugs but they were much worse this year. I read the flyer at the shop with suggestions for dealing with them but it was too late we were already there. Maybe send that information along in the initial booking so people can come prepared.

We enjoyed our stay & the attention to details were evident . Staff provided great customer service and made our stay very enjoyable. Facilities, pool and sites were clean and very well maintained. Although the drive was long from Ohio we hope to return sometime in the future

Was great, relaxing. Enjoyed the pools and the creek. Wished we could have stayed longer. Looking forward to next year. Excited to see the improvements your working on. Best recommendations to pre-prep site, to help control mosquitoes, that we can plan for?

We enjoyed the property. The bathhouse was clean but needs updating. I'm sure the main pool was nice but way too many kids and noise. The adult pool was quiet but had weird black marks around the perimeter. Our site, 71, had roots sitting up to 4" above ground which made it hard to put out our chairs and was an obstacle course to get around. Property is tired but surrounding area is great.

So quiet and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our much needed getaway. The ladies at the desk were so kind with our late check in. We are looking forward to another stay in the fall.

Very clean. No TV was a bummer. Can live without internet, but TV is a big deal. Would be nice if the store opened earlier and was more stocked with coffee(decaf), maybe newspapers, donuts, ext. fix TV problem we will be back.

What an amazing place!! Everyone at the site is so friendly, from the staff the minute you walk in the door to every single camper you'll come across. The whole place is squeaky clean. Perfect for the whole family, including the furry children! We'll definitely come back!

Nice site, friendly and helpful staff. Pools and splash pad were clean and refreshing. There was always a lovely breeze off the water that made the humid, 90°-plus days feel less oppressive. I would have given the highest ratings except for the lack of bathhouses (only one fully functional, although it was nice), long walk to get there. The closest one to us had the women's side closed. Recommend

very disappointed that the swings were removed from the WF sites. The upkeep of the area. Grass was long and the bushes on the sites were a pain. Cut them back or remove them.

Cabin overall nice. Bed horrible. lots of noise of bugs? in house all night & tapping. Fan for vent is horribly loud - so loud unable to keep on. BUGS inside & outside HORRIBLE.

We had a great time. We had a place right on the water. Felt bad for many people because it rained a lot and they were having issues with the water and drainage. I was surprised they didn’t have a place for recycling. Beautiful area

We loved the amenities and location. We were looking for a place close to home. It was great. Not super crowded. Only disappointment was the waterfront options were closed. It does have a lot of bugs due to all the drainage ditches staying full.

Only thing that impacted our stay was the mosquito’s! They were brutal. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect!

The grass on our site and most of the other sites in the water view section was below the knee. I had to ask for someone to cut the grass during our 16-night stay. There have been no improvements made to the property. The splash pad requires repair; paint is peeling; half of the spray fountains do not work; the steps on the pools by the rail are cracked and coming up.

The site was great, cement area, not too buggy there, a few dragon flies, but not awful. The pool area is beautiful. The grill food was delicious, no complaints at all about the food or food prices. Biggest issue, spotty internet/ cell connections. The campground was very peaceful and quiet and the sunsets from the pier were beautiful.

The campground is one of our favorites. The mosquitoes, however, are another thing. They do everything possible to keep them under control, but we were not able to stay out after dusk because of them. We'll probably avoid July and August in the future. We had a wonderful time in the pool with splash pad, and enjoyed the scenery of the Bay and beach. The staff were all very nice and accommodating.

From check in to check out was nothing less than a great time. Our request was honored.Our local family visited, My grand babies had a BLAST!!! The Splash and Pool area is great for the children and adults. Everyone is always really friendly!! There's only one thing... The mosquitos are horrible. (Maybe spray more often) Thanks Tall PInes for a great time!!!!

The staff at the office very friendly and helpful. The camp store had lots of things you mite need at your stay and thing you forgot to bring. The grounds are kept clean and maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again. Thank you

This KOA was beautiful, clean, and the staff was really nice but we probably won’t be staying here again. The lack of connectivity for cellphone was bad, the bugs were the worst part(couldn’t enjoy being outside) we had bug spray and all and they were having a feast.

First, I love Tall Pines, been coming a long time. Second, kudos to Barbara, she’s amazing. My husband was very disappointed in the cleanliness of small bath house. Wasn’t cleaned all 5 days and no working lights. The small pool had some sort of black scum on the sides. �� Didn’t see anyone spray for mosquitoes. Don’t let this beautiful place go down hill.

I was very disappointed on my last trip. We were driven into our campers at all hours of the day by mosquitoes & deer flies. We could not enjoy a campfire or any outdoor activities. The deer flies also made the trip miserable by attacking my dog. I never saw anyone spraying for them? The adult pool had some sort of scum on the upper walls. It was disgusting. Office staff was excellent!

Beautiful campground. Only negative thing I could say is the mosquitos are terrible! But that is no fault to the staff. Would have loved to fish and use private beach more just bugs were unbelievably bad. Pool was clean and fun. Bath house clean. Loved how close to Chincoteague and the beach we were. Cottage was super clean and so nice.

Van camped in their field sites. Nice campground right on the water with easy access, great new pool and beautiful bath house, enormous pavilion, large camp store with shaded front porch, very friendly staff, security gate for entry to campsites, 35 minutes to Chincoteague. Thanks for a good stay!

The staff changed their reservation for us. It was a birthday weekend for my wife because we had a sick Animal no questions asked no fee charged. The people in the office were wonderful and the Campground is just stunningly beautiful on the Pokomoke sound.

We have had such a great year at the campground! There have been so many positive improvements, and it has honestly just felt like a really great season all around. I am especially happy with our new General Manager, Amanda. She has been so approachable, kind, and communicative, and you can tell she truly wants to be present and involved. Whether she is checking in with campers, joining in on activities, helping her team, or simply being available when needed, her presence has made such a positive difference this year. The entire team has also been wonderful. From the office staff to maintenance and housekeeping, everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. You really feel like people care about the campground and about the families who spend their time here. And having the “Snack Shack” right on property is definitely an added bonus! This is our seventh year camping here, and this place holds so many special memories for our family. We have gotten to make memories year after year while raising our daughter here, and it truly feels like our home away from home. We are so excited for the rest of the season and are already talking about and planning for next year. So thankful for another great year, all of the positive changes, and the many memories still to come!

My favorite place I've traveled to, camped at or experienced. Very relaxing, very friendly people, very convenient. Everything you need in a vacation all in one area on the east coast. Pet friendly. Fun friendly. They have special events and everything. I've made this destination my home away from home and my annual birthday tradition. Like I went camping, in a tent, during a thunderstorm. Not only was I safe, but Mr Trey actually came and checked on us. Everyone was real neighborly. All the staff was friendly and cordial. But Mr Trey is super helpful and energetic. I do recommend.

We rented a cute little clean cabin for a couple of nights. Lots to keep young kids active and involved in the play and pool area.
