Very wet weekend. My TV did not work in cabin 1 they tried everything. Front staff compensated with first responder discount so really appreciated that. Staff very friendly

It wasn't an ideal camping weekend (due to the weather not the campground fault) but the kids still had fun at the playground. My only actual complaint is that the TV in the master bedroom of our cottage had no hook up (like a firestick or DVD player) so it was really pointless to even have it hanging on the wall. I grew up at this campground and its always been my favorite around.

Very safe, secure campground. The kids had a lot of fun! Beautiful views! Only down fall was the bugs, but that’s the eastern shore for you!

Very happy with this resort. Very clean bathrooms and fun activities for all ages. The water view sites have amazing views. Definitely would come back!! Friendly and helpful staff, well equip store and amenities was a plus! Our only negative was the dog waste containers scattered around the resort, were not emptied as frequently as needed for such a busy weekend.

We had a great experience at this campsite! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was well-equipped and clearly well-maintained. The surroundings were peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended—we would definitely come back!

We had the most amazing stay! It was so much fun for the kids while also relaxing for adults. Every single employee was so nice, the seasonal campers were all so nice and welcoming, the grounds were well kept and the cabin was clean. We have been to a lot of KOA’s but this is the only one we want to go to from now on.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The WiFi which was described as spotty was nonexistent. I couldn’t get the tv connected or our phones connected. You had some nice events and the band Sunday was great.

We loved our stay! We stayed in one of the “Glamping/Safari Tent, and they were so cool! The campground was clean, all the facilities were kept clean, staff was always super friendly! We loved that there were different activities to do through the weekend. When we arrived, our ground was flooded out and they were able to make accommodations to not put us in a flooded tent. We will be returning!

It was a very costly weekend. Stay with Harley no activities for adults to do. It was not at all what I expected from what I read on reviews, it only had two bath houses and it was not close to where I stayed if you really want to know Cape Charles KOA offers more and it would’ve been closer so sorry for the bad review but it’s not what I’m used to when I stay at KOA’s needs to have more

This campground is lovely. Lots of trees and on the water. We rented the deluxe cabin. It was nice and clean. Plenty of space for us. The only thing that keeps this rating from being a five is that the wifi does not work. There were two tv's in the cabin and we couldn't use either one due to the absence of wifi. We also could not use our personal devices either. Cabin 14.

The actual camp ground is nice and is shall we say gated. Problem is the WiFi, it is non existent. Other problem was the spot we had was 2/3 roots sticking out of the ground, so walking was more of tripping. Communication about events was extremely poor. The site is secluded and the only place to visit was Chincoteague or Assateague Island. Closest town is Temperanceville, one grocery store.

Awesome campground - clean, perfect water views, lots of holiday activities… and incredibly friendly staff. I hear the snack bar is great too but we didn’t try it. Hammocks all around including over the water were so neat. I gave it 4 out of 5 because it would highly benefit from a hot tub and a fenced dog area. There’s plenty of open space for the dog area so hopefully they add that soon!

We had a beautiful site RF6. It was really easy to get to but the campground is so big that we were glad to have a friendly guide take us to the site. We forgot to bring our pet's shot records but they were good about letting our vet email it to them the next day.

Very nice large campground and pretty quiet for our stay midweek and before Memorial Day. Looks like it fills up on the weekend. Not a lot to do in the immediate area but Chincoteage was a short drive away . Cellphone and WiFi coverage were spotty but better than expected. It was weird that some us had it and others not. Kids would likely enjoy the pool, splash area, and playground.

The positive: Nice spacious sites surrounded by trees. Right on the Chesapeake Bay, beautiful park. The negative: We arrived 3 PM Sunday afternoon and the office was closed. Pass key didn’t on the high sensor to exit the RV and use the sensor design for a car. Many seasonal people, some flying political flags. Could be a five star park.

Too many extented stay campers there. This makes it to where only about 20% of the campground is available for actual campers. Get rid of the people you have living there and make way for actual campers. Other than that its a great place.

Great campground! The views are amazing and the staff was super friendly! I definitely plan on staying here again. The only thing that was annoying were the flies but you’re camping get used to it!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Our view was amazing and the sunset was beautiful. Camping spots were level, good size so not on top of each other. The playground was nice and the pools looked great. Then even have an arcade, pizza and ice cream shops.. It was very quiet and peaceful. We definitely recommend tall pines and will be coming back. Unfortunately, our stay was to short.

Staying in the delux cabin i would think we would have tV but since the wifi does not reach the cabins we didn't have anything so in the storm with 3 small kids it was not fun we couldn't even watch a movie as there was no dvd player. Then the camp store is closed so early and when brought up issue was told they couldn't do anything. We left saturday because of the mess.

Been coming for years, so happy to see our Tall Pines is still Tall Pines! GREAT SNACK BAR catered by local seafood restaurant Captain E's, always a highlight of our visit. WONDERFUL STAFF. So happy that Barbara and Bobby are still there. TERRIBLE WIFI, only usable during off hours. ERODING BEACH needs major infusion of sand. FOOTBRIDGE AT BEACH needs to be repaired after sand is deliver

I have my 41' coach and 20' closed trailer. The size is not a problem. Plenty of room and things to do very clean iv been several times and plan to return..

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
