Campground was nice. Sites were large. Not alot of planned activities. Store and snack shack closed early. Horrible fly infestation.

The campground and amenities were great. The only downside is that the cabin we rented was infested with flies. When we arrived we were told about this issue and they said it was because the previous renter left the door open. We will probably come back to the campground but we won't rent one of those cabins again.

Disappointed that the bridge to the beach was blocked off-couldn’t use. Office not response to phone calls. Spill ways around RV sites attracted lots of biting mosquitos and flies. Insecticide fogging conducted around camp sites with children, adults and pets present. Campers should have been notified that spraying was going to take place and what type of chemicals were being used. Left day earl

Loved our cabin. Wished u had sent a detailed list of things u provided... when I spoke to someone on the phone a month before our stay, I was told sheets and towels were provided..

We had a great time. Rented a RV same one we had at halloween. Plenty of room and stocked with kitchen essentials and paper products. Noticed toilet not flushing out properly. Called within an hour and issue resolved. Campers and staff are friendly.

Not the friendliest bunch of people. Campsite is only good if you are in a shaded area. Adult pool was a bit disgusting.

The park itself it okay. However the park has a fly problem. You cannot sit outside without being attacked. They are everywhere. The pools are overcrowded so hard to enjoy. KOA planned activities were good cornhole and bingo. If they control the flies and mosquitoes I would rate higher.

The Biggest downfall are the Flies & Mosquitoes. Absolutely horrible. I have stayed at the KOA 50 miles down the road on the Chesapeake and never experienced nothing like this....Also would be helpful to enforce the policy No Children in the Adult Pool.

The cabin was perfect for our family & kids loved the pool/splash pad/playgrounds. We decided to bring waffle ball stuff for our kids and gor a little game going Saturday night next to the playgrounds. Lots of kids decided to join in and it was awesome to see kids playing outside like we did as kids. Will definitely recommend to other and will be back. Would have loved a band or at the pavillion!

We had a great time while there. Only complaints I have is the store closes too early and they should not be spraying for bugs while people are out, we were at the beach and literally had to run away so we wouldn't get sprayed with chemicals.

Very nice and friendly campground. The snack bar had odd hours. The splash pad was great. The bathhouse were kept clean. The one by the playground could use more privacy in the shower area.

We loved our stay at Tall Pines! The campground was very clean, had a lot of amenities, and the staff were super friendly. The views of the bay were amazing and we had a great time fishing and crabbing off of the piers. We will be back!

While we loved our site and the layout of the campground there needs to be more thought giving to controlling the flies and mosquitoes. They were so unbearable we left a day early. We just couldn't take them anymore. I understand that it gets sprayed but it requires more frequent spraying and better water movement in the ponds and ditches

I would say the price point for the safari tent 4 and 5 are over priced do to the view of the junk yard. Knock $75 to 100 off the price and it would be a fair price for the weekend. Other than that everyone was great. Im sure you will here more about the junk yard. There was people video it and commenting about it.

The facility was amazing and everyone had a great time swimming and playing on the blob. The staff was incredible and activities were great. The seasonal residents made everyone feel welcome and invited.

Staff is so friendly. Campground is very clean. Splash pad/pool area is great for families, although I do wish they would have had more options for shade since the three cabanas were always taken all day even when the families using them weren’t even in the pool area for extended periods of time. The food and ice cream at the shack by the pool was delicious and they have a good variety of option

Fantastic stay! Campsites were amazing, splash pad and pool the best, and the bay beach area so relaxing! The activities were all so fun! You can’t beat the hammocks in the water. Slice of oasis. The only large downside are the massive mosquitoes that u swear have to be fed steroids! Fans needed and spray needed! But we will be back!

Been coming to this park for 17 years. Don’t plan on returning. Disappointed in the demise of the campground. Tall grass & stagnant water throughout, mosquitoes & flies galore- never once saw a sprayer. Dark & dingy. Pool not heated. Ridiculously priced store items- $14 for can of bug spray, $8 for pancake syrup. Paid astronomical site fees, with check in at 4pm and check out 11am.

Arrived to find the fridge was turned off so it was hot had food to store in it and took it all night to cool down, had some food go bad while waiting. Neither tv/DVD player remote worked the devices in the cabin a problem when traveling with kids and it raining. Very limited activities on the property to enjoy. camp store was closed Everytime we needed to buy, the store was closed for inventory

First time visit. Pull thru site close to the water. It poured for an entire day & the campground was flooded in most areas including our site. I know we can’t control the weather but they can plan ahead to add more rocks/stones to raise the sites up. Also the small bridge connecting to the beach was broken and it would have been nice to go see the small beach. Maybe next time.

The campgroud is amazing! Campgroud is well maintained and the location is wonderful with breathtaking views.Staff are very friendly and helpful. We already booked another stay. We highly recommend this place!

We stayed 3 nights. Campground is very large. Nice access to the Sound. It's quiet during weekdays. Mowing with a weedeater is necessary in open site area. Campground was very wet due to recent rains and drainage issues. Would stay again if in area.

We have been camping for around 30 years and this was one of the most enjoyable campgrounds we have stayed out. Lots of activities, beautiful sites and grounds, family friendly, and awesome staff. Just wish the firewood was better as it was not seasoned enough to be if any use for a camo fire. Store hours could be a little better as well.

I have my 41' coach and 20' closed trailer. The size is not a problem. Plenty of room and things to do very clean iv been several times and plan to return..

We stayed at site RF8, which is right across from the comfort station and basically a grass field with hooks up. The site was $44 /night for electric and water hook ups. I did not mind the “grass field” at all. We had a family in a tent next to us, a couple traveling in an SUV with a bed in it on the other side, and another couple in a smaller class B. For the price we paid, it was perfect, and it's nice to see the diversity of campers. The showers, which are located in the comfort station, are very clean. The shower heads did suck but otherwise the water is hot and the cleanliness is a big plus. It's not a far walk to the water and the dog park. It was still cold during our visit (end of March) so the pool wasn't open and couldn't get in the water at the beach. I can imagine this place is very lively during the summer. I think they have a lot of “permanent” residents but they keep their sites cute and clean so you don't really notice it. I loved seeing all of the families out and about and the kids playing. It seemed like the residents adhere to the quiet hours cause it was very lively until about 10pm and then it seemed to be quiet after that… meaning I was able to sleep without a bunch of noise keeping me awake. Barbara at the front desk was sweet and the check-in and check-out process was easy. They tell you when you check in that the wifi is spotty and that is the full truth. The wifi is terrible. We are new to RVing so we don't have Starlink or anything yet so with the little bit of cell service we had we were about to stream to our tv. The park is kind of in the “sticks” so cell service is touch and go as well. Conclusion, the park is adorable, the comfort station is very clean, the water is beautiful, and we enjoyed how family oriented it is.

We did another overnight stay in the 500s sites. Large pull through, plenty of room for 45' + toad. Check in quick and efficient, staff is 5 stars. Only wish that the Wifi worked.
