Navigational arrows were used in the early days of flight to direct pilots during daylight hours. Beacons were later added to assist night flyers. These 1500 early ground-based tools became obsolete with radio and radar. The remains of one of these guides can be found south of KOA, on the peak between Old Highway 91 and Quail Creek Reservoir.
To get to Arrow 37C, turn left out of KOA St. George/Hurricane on Old Highway 91. Go 1.8 miles. turn left on Coral Cliffs Parkway. Stay left and park in the circle. Google Maps shows the trails.

That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
