The grounds were well kept. We appreciated the escort to our sight. Sites were roomt with grass. Dog park was roomy with toys, such a bonus.

We had a very nice spot and appreciate the great communication by staff. Bathrooms were clean. Convenient and beautiful walkway right by campsite to walk our dog. Only reason we gave an 8 instead of a 10 is because of the noisy location with interstate and train.

Roadways were worn down to basically dirt. It rained hard and thus a mud pit. Trees throughout the campground need to be cut back and trimmed. They are scraggly and unattractive. Campground is older and not suitable for big rigs. Kind of tight. Water connections are in an in-ground box - not convenient for hooking up your hoses and filter.

The park is clean and staff friendly. Our site was awful. It was so muddy. Our truck and trailer wheels were covered in mud. It rained hard, but paved roads and grass would have helped in this situation.

Friendly office staff. New dog park is way too small. Lots of trees were removed to make room for seasonal sites. Need to replant lots of trees to block Interstate 90. The one way traffic pattern in the park is silly. Otherwise good stay

This is a beautiful. Campsite. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bathrooms, shower area, super clean. Campsites excellent. Wi-fi worked excellent. I highly recommend this. Campground.

We were parked right next to freeway so lots of truck noise - hence 1 star deducted. But park is really nice and staff was friendly.

The stuff was super friendly and helpful. Yes as others stated, but we were off an interstate. The park was clean. We will stay again. We traveled in a motorhome.

Spent 3 nights late July. Everything at campground was perfect. Sheridan is a wonderful city to visit. The Bighorn Mountains are a unique Rocky Mt. range, with canyons going up from the foothills. Visit Fort Phil Kearny and learn the genesis of the Indian wars of the northern plains and the rise and fall of the Bozeman Trail.

Great hosts, clean campground, nice sites, close to town. We have stayed at Sheridan / Big Horn Mountains KOA quite a few times and always enjoy our return visits!

This KOA is well kept and clean. The staff is responsive and very communicative. I suppose they can’t help being so close to the highway. My particular spot was on that end of the camp and it was pretty noisy because of the highway. Also, the dog park was great, but I believe they could expand it to make it a decent size since there is open space around it. The staff was great!

It was clean and quiet, staff were friendly, and communication was excellent. The pool was sparkling, bathrooms clean and well-lit, and everything was well maintained. The store had anything you’d need and then some! I loved that Stacey had a staff appreciation BBQ while we were there- they deserve it!

The camp ground is very nice. It’s a typical KOA. Very clean. Wonderful staff. Store was nice. The only draw back to this KOA is the freeway noise. The campground backs up to the freeway, so it can be loud at times. We did not use the pool or the laundry facilities. All in all a nice place to stay..

Muddiest mess I have ever been in. The park staff have made an effort to add some rock, and some astro-turf, but not enough. Cover the place in gravel like the Cody, WY KOA!

We really enjoy this KOA. We have stayed there each of the last three summers. Stacy and her crew are kind and generous folks. They keep the grounds neat and tidy, the bathrooms/showers are well kept and the laundry room now has two new washing machines too. There is a pool, dog yard, minigolf, and lots of shade beneath huge cottonwoods. And she let us play music for the other campers!

A lot of dead trees need to gravel the lots. We had water puddles all around us.� They need to put water irrigation throughout the park, so they could have green grass!!!

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the area. It is an old campground w lots of trees in the B section. We noticed this time the sites could use a bit of grading/leveling. The bathrooms are clean. The people in the office are very friendly and helpful.

Sites have very little gravel and turned to mud when it rained. There are weeds everywhere. Interstate traffic is so loud you need ear plugs to sleep. For what you pay to stay here I would rather be in the national forest, which is where we will staying in the future.

The campground itself is what you'd expect from a KOA - good enough. However, the new sites are terrible with a clay base and extremely poor drainage. Rig sank into the earth and shoes get ruined. The $75/day fee is horrendous for what you (don't) get.

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
