Probably one of the nicest campsites for KOA in the whole United States beautiful place they take excellent care of it.

Conveniently located. Sheridan is a neat town to visit. Great walking path and nice wide sidewalks to town from KOA. Our site was ok for our 1 night stay. They have a 2nd area, probably for long term, that is super nice. Large spots, nice patio area. Staff was very friendly. We didn't use the facilities

The office did a good job communicating activities. Despite 100 degree temperatures we were ok using air conditioning and pool. Price of staying was more than we normally pay?

Awesome KOA! Vickie, Nate and Bill were informative and welcoming. Clean bathrooms. They also have a family, friendly hike and bike trail that goes into town. Looking forward to our next visit.�

Too noisy for three nights maybe one. Also had a tough time using the laundry. Koa used all the washers and dryers. We are traveling and needed the service

Easy access pull through sites, perfect for a quick en route stay. But Sheridan is such a delightful place to visit you really should stay an extra night or two.

We were in a spot that was nothing more than flattened base course with a square piece of AstroTurf and a picnic table. Although it did have full hookups, the site was very hot and unaccommodating to an aesthetic experience.

Staff friendly & helpful. Really appreciated text notification of bear sighting in campground so we didn't go out with our dog. Would have been helpful to get an all clear notification.

Great, clean campground to stay. Clean grounds and love the improvements and expansion. The office and grounds staff are friendly and helpful. Sheridan offers lots of activities, entertainment and eateries and is a great central location to many excursions.

My stay was great overall. The spaces are fairly spread out, lots of mature trees on property and my favorite part was that it is right on the paved trail system in Sheridan so you have immediate access to tons of walking trails. My only gripe is that the sewer pole sticks out like 8 inches from the ground making it super difficult to drain your black and gray tanks...defying gravity basically.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. They clean up the sites following the guests leaving. The landscaping needs a lot of attention. If the sites were nicer, it would be a great park. Road noise is pretty bad at some sites. It appears they have a lot of overnight visitors.

The staff was awesome, but the site was horrible. All dirt, no trees, next to load highway. Also, the kids playground was a complete joke.

This was a layover for the night. Easy access and great staff. All very welcoming. We had a lit with a big tree so with the heat nice. Some right out in the sun. Bathrooms clean and look new. Grounds well maintained. We'd stop again.

The entrance is confusing, there is a big KOA sign at the street, but when you look towards the actual gate, it says exit only. Better signage on where to enter and where to park for registration would be helpful. Other than that, this is the perfect location (none better) for visiting Devils Tower.

We understand that all KOA journey properties are close to the interstate for easy in and out, but this property is directly against the interstate and incredibly noisy. We were camping in the new section, which has no trees and it was hot. The Internet was spotty at best. The owners did give us a discount due to these concerns, which was appreciated.

Great facility. Super clean and lots of fun stuff to do. We arrived late at night and the host waited for us. Everyone at Big Horn Mountains KOA is wonderful.

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
