From the moment we checked in, our brief stay was fantastic! Leah gave us a booklet and pointed out some of her favorite restaurants and all were on point. The grounds were well maintained. Should have stayed longer! We'll be back!

Very clean and well maintained. Check-in was well organized, with an escort to our slip. Nice amenities and very friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is staying in the area.

Had a great time staying here. Met some nice folks. Our site was the perfect size for our rig. Communication was excellent with the staff. Our dog enjoyed the dog park and was entertained by the squirrels and bunnies.

The proprietor was very communicative. The campsite and bathrooms were well maintained. We even talked about staying in one of the covered wagons next time!!

Site we had was quite unkept. Weeds growing everywhere Fake grass mat was full of dog fur. Very long walk to the only bathroom and showers. And we were right beside the I-90 which was very loud. Also no shade or wind break at our site. We were very close to forfeiting our deposit and trying our luck elsewhere

The woman at the office was very kind and helpful. The campsites need a lot of work in the C spots. The spots in the whole campground would be better in the rain if they were paved. Some spots have almost no space around them. The C sites have weeds all over, including burrs. We had to pick weeds to keep the kids from stepping on them. Sheridan is a beautiful area, but this campground falls short

The campground itself it very run down. We stayed on the newly added side and it was nothing but weeds. Such large and pokey weeds that my husband ended up picking what he could so that our kids wouldn’t end up hurt. The campground felt like it had a lot of permanent residents, one man walked around in his bath robe. It was an interesting experience.

Nice, quiet campground, except for the interstate. It would have been nice is all of the dryers worked. Ended up hanging my clothes up in the camper.

Very clean. Laundry room was cool and comfortable ( which is rare). Workers were very nice. Just wish we couldve had fires.

Staff was very friendly and bathrooms were nice, but the patio site was terrible. No grass.....just scrub plants and weeds, looked terrible. Site was facing South, so the sun was on us all afternoon, not sure why the orientation for our RV was not the other way around, allowing more shade. Had to move to the other side of the rig and could not enjoy the patio. Too close to the highway.

In the past it seemed there were minimum standards for KOA campgrounds. Overall, this campground is poorly maintained. It seemed there were many sites that were occupied by people living in them full time, with lots of clutter and personal belongings in the small spaces. In the sites closer to the freeway, there were no trees and the rock landscaping was full of weeds. No pride of ownership.

The place is hard to navigate my spot would of been quieter if would of stayed right on the off ramp it would of less muddy on the off ramp

It was fine place! Loved the dog park. They gave us a shady spot that we asked for. Nice people running it. Nice pool and mini golf for the kiddos. A bit dusty, older, weeds and sometimes you hear the Hwy traffic, are only negatives but all not a big deal for camping or for a quick stay.

Easy pull through site for my 16’ Tab 320. No shade in that particular area but that’s not surprising in that area of the campground. Good WiFi but I was parked next to a tower. Super nice staff, cute gift shop, easy in and out.

Loved our stay at the KOA. Yes it's near the highway, that's how we got there. The staff are outstanding.. the store is amazing for nik nacs. Gifts, etc. It does need some sight maintenance. BUT it's FABULOUS. The deluxe cabins top notch. The wagons are superb. The log cabins are fabulous. Dog park needs to be bigger. We had a great time. Showers are spot less

The grounds were well kept. We appreciated the escort to our sight. Sites were roomt with grass. Dog park was roomy with toys, such a bonus.

We had a very nice spot and appreciate the great communication by staff. Bathrooms were clean. Convenient and beautiful walkway right by campsite to walk our dog. Only reason we gave an 8 instead of a 10 is because of the noisy location with interstate and train.

Roadways were worn down to basically dirt. It rained hard and thus a mud pit. Trees throughout the campground need to be cut back and trimmed. They are scraggly and unattractive. Campground is older and not suitable for big rigs. Kind of tight. Water connections are in an in-ground box - not convenient for hooking up your hoses and filter.

The park is clean and staff friendly. Our site was awful. It was so muddy. Our truck and trailer wheels were covered in mud. It rained hard, but paved roads and grass would have helped in this situation.

Friendly office staff. New dog park is way too small. Lots of trees were removed to make room for seasonal sites. Need to replant lots of trees to block Interstate 90. The one way traffic pattern in the park is silly. Otherwise good stay

This is a beautiful. Campsite. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Bathrooms, shower area, super clean. Campsites excellent. Wi-fi worked excellent. I highly recommend this. Campground.

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
