Super friendly contacts at the desk, even found some bolts we needed for a repair, sites OK some shade some not. Very close to the Interstate, but the noise winds down in the evening.

Traveling alone and stayed in a camping cabin. It was very cozy and quiet, although the mattress I slept on was well-worn and didn't provide much cushion compared to other KOA cabins I've stayed in... definitely time to be replaced! The staff was friendly and accommodating and everything was clean and well-kept. Would stay here again!

This campground is clean and well kept. The bathrooms were reasonably clean, and the grounds were well maintained. Most of the campground has mature trees that provide great shade. The occupancy was high when we were there, but it never felt crowded. The only drawback is that it is near I-90 and you can hear the trucks braking on the off-ramp. Other than that, I highly recommend this KOA!

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. The site was level and the patio was nice. We only stayed for one night so we did not have a chance to use any of the other amenities.

This is a very nice KOA that is well maintained and has very friendly staff. If you are traveling with kids this would be a good place to stay. Only downfall of the campground is that it is close to the interstate so it can be quite noisy.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! There is some highway noise but nothing horrible. The dog park is nice too.

I would like to see a little more pride taken in the campground. I stayed in site C7 and the weeds in the rock areas were terrible. Not to mention the rock borders were all in disarray. Rocks were also all over the fake grass area.

Not the cleanest room. Bootprints on the mattress and smelled musty in the room. Mattress extremely worn, didn't appear clean. Overall a decent stay, but may not return. Loose dogs running around. I know you can't control everyone.

The location is perfect to get to many places in the west. The campground is located near an interstate which can have some impact on sound. It’s my understanding that the owners live in other states and are not on site, which may have some disadvantages. The grounds are not maintained as well as other KOAs and general maintenance on buildings could be improved. The workers are friendly & helpfu

Staff is friendly. Entrance road has 2 big pot holes and road very uneven. Needs replacement. Fences need scraping and painting. If you are offering laundry, having 2 out of 4 dryers is unacceptable.

Very nice and clean park, the highway is a little bit noisy, and should’ve left trees in the new area with Patio sites. It is completely barren. Was a little disappointed in the laundry room as two dryers were out of order. But overall, every site was level and there is an area that has lots of shading from trees, and the staff is amazing.

Great location and although near proximity to the highway it was quiet at night. Excellent communication from management on office hours, inclement weather etc. They called before we arrived and moved us to a better site. Sparkling clean pool and nice dog park. Friendly staff and great service.

Covered wagon was a nice change after staying in many one room cabins. The bed was so comfortable and loved the mini split heat and a/c.

Great campground , well maintained . But the best parts are the personnel. The ladies on the front seat on genuine, friendly in a real way . The gentleman that lead us to our site and refilled out propane was extremely welcoming and helpful. Thank you Tom !

The spot we were in shouldn’t be a spot, it’s small and that is where everyone has to drive to get out of the tight corner. Our view was the propane tank, sewer dump and dumpsters.. not impressed for the first time staying at a KOA

Welcoming smaller campground with friendly staff. We paid a higher rate to stay in a patio site in the new addition of the campground. The sites were unfinished, and backed up to the highway. Road noise was so loud we couldn't use the patio seating and hold a conversation at normal levels. It's frustrating to be changed the highest prices for noisy, undesirable sites.

Our proximity to the national park was excellent. The cabin we stayed in was clean, but I noticed it lacked a screen door, unlike the other cabins. I wish this KOA had WiFi - but all other amenities were great.

From the moment we checked in, our brief stay was fantastic! Leah gave us a booklet and pointed out some of her favorite restaurants and all were on point. The grounds were well maintained. Should have stayed longer! We'll be back!

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
