The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The grounds themselves left a lot to be desired. Not well manicured or kept and the road noise from the highway was a lot. The bathroom and shower facilities were very clean and well kept!

You people need to do better for late arrivals. Things happen on the road and cause delays constantly, causing late arrivals. This office closed at 4pm on a Friday, there is no assistance, it is not very well lit, the entrance is confusing from the highway and it is very frustrating, especially when the circumstances prior were beyond our control.

The place is very nice and lots to do around the area. If you stay there meet the Manager she is very nice and does everything. I mean everything. There was a problem with us dumping at our site and she came over to fix it to make sure we had a great visit. In the end she got someone over in about a hour to fix it so we did not have to move. I wish I could say more but it was great.

Stayed several days to see the area. Site was level and clean. Dog park was nice. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Park had direct access to city walk/bike trail. Only drawback was highway noise which if that bugs you try getting a site in the back of the park. I would stay again.

Love the park and hosts. We stayed in 2023 and then again this year. The highway noise was a nuisance this time! Large trucks used their Jake brakes incessantly throughout the night. The park is nicely appointed and is a convenient stop between Cody WY and Sheridan WY. Sheridan offers history sites, vibrant downtown stores and dining options.

Hosts are very nice and keep the grounds very clean. The campground is a lot noisier than we like, but being so close to the freeway is expected.

We were place high on a hill, very fun and spacious, though not level (could use the tractor up there!). Looks as though park is being updated and new additions planned very soon.

Can't say enough about the customer service. They did everything they could to make us feel welcomed. The gentleman even helped my husband fix our RV.

Traveling through. We went to Pitchfork Fondue and Musical. Cabin was great. Only thing I would suggest is better lighting to the bathrooms. When walking from the cabins it is a little bit of a walk when your older to get up and walk there at night,

Staff are great. The location is very near Highway noise, so challenging to achieve a good night of sleep. It would be great if weed control were done. Just a nice touch to show attention to detail.

I’m not a big gan of KOAs, that’s why I don’t recommend them. The Sheridan staff were great, The friendly woman with the nice smile who checked us in helpful and Ron, who escorted us to our site gave valuable route through the mountains advice that really helped. Clean bathrooms a plus

They really could work on cleaning up The spaces throughout the park. Our space wasn’t cleaned or swept off. That amenities bathroom showers were very clean. Everyone was friendly.

Check-in was smooth. Camp was clean and well taken care of. If ever in the area again, we would stay again.

People are nice. Cabin needed cleaning candy wrappers under main bed. Very noisy traffic and train. Reservation for 4 with only one bed made. The bunks twin sheets with full blanket and full sheets with twin blanket in package. Front ramp a little unlevel could trip.

Much of this campground seems to need updating. The playground equipment is old and potentially unsafe. The pool area is small and the pool deck is rough. The mini golf course looks very uncared for. We did not need to use the bathrooms or showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The nearby bike path was excellent!

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
