The nicest people you will find anywhere. Kind, considerate and compassionate about our traveling woes. Stacy, Bill, and the rest of the crew are the best. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry sparkling clean. The kids loved the “mining” experience. We will stop by every time we head West!

I was put RIGHT next to the stupid interstate when there were plenty of spots open away from the noisy traffic. It was terrible. I got no sleep and when I went in to talk to the lady at the front desk one of the girls was smirking about it. Rude! I will just stay in Ranchester next time.

Check-in was good. Our site was next to the freeway so we heard the traffic all night. We were in the dirt except for a patch of artificial turf under the picnic table.

Camp sites not to bad. Showers not good, either cold or very hot. Camp help very accommodating and sociable.

Bathroom floors were slippery, handicapped shower did not work. Needed sign saying so.

The park was clean, sights where level. We where glad to be on the older side with trees and grass. Employees where friendly and helpful.

Very nice sites and amenities, enjoyed our short stay and the trails leading to town. We will stay again when we’re in the area.

I’d recommend choosing a site away from the interstate, and in the old part with trees if it’s hot outside.

Assigned to back lot, highway noise was terrible all night long. Did enjoy the access to bike/walk trails from the campground. That was definitely a plus.

We appreciated the great view and local wildlife on the campground. The showers were tiled, lit, and clean. We used the laundry and it was adequate and clean. Staff were helpful with questions. Location relative to Yellowstone was great! The only thing that we saw that could be improved was the lighting in the bathroom over the toilet area.

Excellent site. Was in the new sections. It was dusty and right against I90 but after awhile you never noticed. Friendly staff. They take you to your site and that’s a plus.

My husband and I stayed in one of the Covered wagon on a day when the high was triple digits and the space was cool and comfortable. The double canvas ensures privacy at night. If you are adventurous and like unique accommodations this should definitely be one to check out. Check in was easy. Grounds were not pristine likely due to the drought but amenities were clean and functional.

We stayed in one of the brand new koa patio sites. Level, and nice furniture, but no grass or trees yet. Will be really nice when finished. Close to highway, so lots of road noise. Clean bathrooms and overall clean grounds. Staff was great. Good base for traveling into Big Horn mountains. Saturday morning pancake breakfast was delicious!

The wagon was comfortable and the exclusive bathroom was clean and air-conditioned. The pool needs a little touchup but it was refreshing.

Very friendly staff. The only drawback was a single bathhouse location. Could be a long walk if you were farther out in the park. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Conveniently located. Sheridan is a neat town to visit. Great walking path and nice wide sidewalks to town from KOA. Our site was ok for our 1 night stay. They have a 2nd area, probably for long term, that is super nice. Large spots, nice patio area. Staff was very friendly. We didn't use the facilities

The office did a good job communicating activities. Despite 100 degree temperatures we were ok using air conditioning and pool. Price of staying was more than we normally pay?

Awesome KOA! Vickie, Nate and Bill were informative and welcoming. Clean bathrooms. They also have a family, friendly hike and bike trail that goes into town. Looking forward to our next visit.�

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
