Friendly staff. Nice size gravel site. Very difficult water and sewer access! Fresh water spigot only 1/2” above the dirt & deep in a tight plastic box hard to access and use! Sewer inlet several inches above the ground….. no way to creat good waste water drain flow!

Very comfortable and quiet! We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The cabin was clean, well stocked and met our needs perfectly. We are full time RV’ers and working in western Wyoming. This was a much needed short getaway that reenergized us!

The entrance in and out were easy accessible and the long pull through in the newer section was very nice. I can’t say enough about the friendly staff and their professionalism from registration to guiding you to your spot. I would definitely stay here again.

Sheridan KOA is very well run and maintained. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay including grassy areas and a fenced area to walk and play with our dog. We were provided with a treat and poop bag on arrival - clever and seems to work as we saw 0 messes. Did not use the pool but really wanted to. Took showers that worked well and were clean with plenty of hooks and a bench.

when we checked in we were told if we needed anything to call...when we got into the Deluxe cabin the TV did not work so we called and left a message. NOt only did no one answer, but no one ever called us back to remedy the problem. Never even acknowledged the call... will not be returning.

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was great… staff was friendly and really kept the clave clean and organized. We will definitely return!!

Can't Thank you all enough for your hospitality and kindness, having to stay 2 extra nites was not in our plans but you made sure we could stay in the same site which made it so easy for us. Thank you again, we will see you soon!

Advertised the camper cabin as having AC and a mini fridge. It had neither one. When I arrived I was told they had someone who made a mistake putting info on their website and they tried to contact everyone to let them know. I was never contacted. I took a tent site instead & they refunded the difference. Picked up a nail in my tire on the way out-heard a pop - hour later flat tire. Avoid!

We stayed in the covered wagon which was wonderful and extremely comfortable. I wish we had longer to stay there. The amenities were clean and the customer service was excellent. The store does not carry a lot of food but town is only a few mile drive away and there is a convenience store also down the road. We felt safe and would absolutely stay here again!

The Conestoga wagon was extremely comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the unique experience and would recommend it for a relaxing glamping experience.

You have a very nice place and everyone was so nice and helpful. My cats were even given little toy mice, which was very sweet of you. Breakfast was very delicious and it was so nice not having to cook in the morning. Love the place and will be back.

Enjoyed my stay at Bighorn Mountains KOA in Sheridan Wy very much. Restrooms and all facilities were clean. Showers hot and staff friendly and helpful. It was a great experience at Sheridan KOA!

Very disappointing experience. We arrived to find raw meat on the ground at our campsite, which our dog almost ate. The site was a muddy clay pit, and we were not informed that it was right next to an expressway, leading to constant noise. The only redeeming feature was the showers, which were decent. Overall, not a place I’d recommend.

Staff was lovely, and the location was great, especially next to the Sheridan bike trail system. However, we stayed in the newer back portion where DG is used. It was raining, and the dg absolutely turned to mucky clay, caking onto the soles of our shoes, the dogs’s paws, and anything that touched it. The floor on my Airstream was a MESS. Also, the highway noise in the newer section was loud!

We were put in the C section where there was no shade. It will be a nice area in the future but on high 90 degree temps it an oven! I walked over to the older established area and it was much more comfortable. The C section is very close to I-90 and the traffic noise becomes annoying very quickly day and night. Wish we could have stayed in the established area where quieter and there was shade.

We loved this park. We were in the new section that was so nice and large. There were a couple of downsides with no trees and close to the highway, so lots of noise from traffic. But I selected this site online and we were ok with it. The Team at this KOA were so courteous and friendly. They even escorted us to our site.

Leah and Stacy went above and beyond to help us out .. we had issues with our refrigerator. Leah helped us find someone to repair .. had to stay a extra day and they also made that work out for us..

Great place to stay with very helpful staff. Lots of things to do onsite and immediate / easy access to the local paved trail for the Sherdan community. Great for biking or walking. Most sites have trees for shade. Improvements / expansion in progress. Probably need to start planting new trees now to replace some of the mature ones as they age out.

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
