We stayed in a cabin our friends had a site reserved for their motorhome. They had an equipment failure so they joined us in the cabin. KOA Bighorn was very accommodating and we had a great stay. Love the little cabin.

The newly added on part of the campground is very nice and spacious. The dog park area was wonderful!!! My son enjoyed the basketball court. The original part of the campground could use some updating. It would be nice to have a bathhouse in the new part of the park.

We were there in June, so lots of kids. Competing for bathrooms with wild children - but not the fault of thr KOA. Campground was tidy, nestled on a river. Very nice!

Stacey is a gem of a campground host. Showers and bathrooms are pristine. Plenty of room between sites and friendly fellow campers all around. Loved having breakfast at the Silver Spur cafe (recommended by Stacey). We’ll be back !

The service at this KOA campground is exceptional. Family plans meant I need to change my reservation twice. Both were accommodated. The receptionist was cordial and helpful, even suggested a great restaurant choice in town.

Whenever we are going through Sheridan we make it a point to stop there for one or two nights because it’s easy to get in and out of plus a very clean and friendly place to stay at! We’ve stayed at many campgrounds and this one I’d give it a ten all around!

The park was very clean with lots of mature trees. They are working on a new section with even more pull through rv spots (paving is the remaining item left) still usable in the meantime. The manager, Stacy, is very friendly and great to the guests!

Lovely park (very clean) with shade trees next to Goose Creek. Easy in and out. Stacy (mgr) welcoming and friendly.We appreciated her texts with info. Groundskeeper Tom was a great help. Louise in the store is an absolute gem! Showers clean and water hot however be aware water pressure is not strong.We enjoyed our stay, have stayed before, and will stay again.

Stayed at this campground twice in May. Both times I had reserved a KOA patio site. Both times I was placed in an alternate spot. The first time the patio site was under water. The second time I was moved because of a forecast of rainfall overnight so the site would be flooded again. Other campers were placed on the sites after my arrival. The site I was moved to was under water the next morning.

I just stayed 1 night, but the stuff was outstanding, and was very clean, 4 stars is only because it was near the freeway, which both good and bad, noise bad, but it was convenient when driving all day, easy to find..thank you so much..loved the stuff a lot!!!

We can’t say enough good things about the staff at this KOA. The park was clean and its proximity to where we needed to be was perfect . Kudos to Stacy for going above and beyond with taking care of our highway ‘mishap.’ Surely the place to stay in Sheridan. Thank you!

We have stayed here many times over the years on our travels to and from Yellowstone. Each year the staff is always friendly and helpful. Our site was perfect for our one night stay and easy to get in and out. They are expanding the area with some new deluxe sites that look great. Thanks to the staff for all you do and all of your hard work.

Just wonderful. Next to I-90, with a concrete walking and biking path leading into Sheridan (past rabbit, deer, duck, geese, etc.). One of my favorites.

The staff was amazing and our kids had a blast doing the scavenger hunt! The king size bed was super comfy and the bunkbeds were a hit. KOA wagon for the win!

I SPECIFICALLY asked for a quiet site- that’s all- no hookups- nothing. What I got was the second closest site to the office- like they completely IGNORED my simple request! Pulled in to the site to the sound of an incessant barking lap snd an AH running its generator in the middle of the afternoon while hooked up to fill service with the exhaust blowing directly at my porch. They have a very well kept camp ground. Very accessible and close to town. Loved the paved bike path that had several bridges over the creek. Can’t wait till next year!

The campgrounds were only 50% full but our site was at the very edge next to the highway and train tracks. We hardly got any sleep and couldn’t wait to leave. The trucks were so close they made the RV shake when they went past. The train whistle blew all hours of the night. I do not recommend this campground at all.

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
