A beautiful KOA! Stacy greets you with a genuine hospitality and makes you feel right at home. The covered wagon option for staying are fun and cozy! Highly recommend this place for families!!

Only wish another bathroom facility could be at the far end of the tent camping area. Even access to the ‘private’ one used for the Conestoga wagons or a similar additional one.

The staff was friendly. However, we were put in the new section of the park. The ground was not properly leaves and packed down for camper to park there. We were there for two days. We had go out several times during our stay to readjust the leveling jacks. Even with our jack pads in use they kept sinking into the ground. This was the worst campsite we have ever stayed in.

Love the campground! Mowing and weed whacking seem spotty at best � Long term sites are NOT a positive attribute to main RV site area.

Staff friendly but site could be better. Needed weedwacking and grooming. Did appreciate the walkway/biking paths that led into to town.

Everyone was friendly and office and restrooms were very clean. area was mowed, but weedeating had not been done...so tall grass around trees/firepits, tables, etc.

The staff were so helpful from the moment I registered to the very last day. I was guided to my site and guided to where I'd be able to hook up everything and leave room for my car. They helped me find a massage therapist and a hardware store. I have not had a bad experience at any KOA camp site.

If it hadn’t been for the rain (which made for a muddy stay), the poorly designed camp site (the sewer hook up too far from the parking setup and up slope), and the poorly kept site, it might have been a better stay. Thankfully only one nite there.

Campground was clean and staff excellent, unfortunately we were placed in the newer section, and when it downpoured, it turned into a muddy mess. Recommend sod be placed on the newer sites where the soil is bare prior to being used.

The site was a little weedy but not too bad. However, like most KOA's, it is too close to the interstate and very noisy. The pool wasn't open either. Disappointing since it was a very hot day.

The staff was so personable and helpful. I stopped in the next day and Stacy not only recognized me, she remembered my site # and provided to the gal helping me. This was our first KOA stay but based on this experience, I am sure it will not be our last. Thank You

Staying in the wagon was so nice! Everyone slept well-beds were comfortable. It was a fun and unique glamping experience! We also used the laundry facilities, which were convenient and clean. Thanks for a great stop!

The Sheridan/Bighorn Mountains KOA is a welcoming campground with a friendly staff that is always eager to help and make guests feel at home. Recent improvements, including the addition of deluxe sites with concrete patios, have enhanced the overall camping experience and provide a comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring. The campground is conveniently located near Sheridan's historic downtown district and offers easy access to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains, making it an excellent base for sightseeing and outdoor recreation. One area that could use attention is the campground roads. Adding more gravel would help reduce puddling after rainstorms and keep both vehicles and pedestrians out of the mud. Addressing this issue would further improve an already enjoyable stay. Overall, this KOA offers a great combination of friendly service, ongoing improvements, and a convenient location for exploring the Sheridan area. I would gladly stay here again.
