Soldier Ridge Trail is a relatively fast and moderate ride with spectacular views of the Big Horn Mountains. Situated at the foot of the Big Horn range, this trail primarily consists of natural terrain and offers panoramic views of Sheridan.
Cycle this trail for a moderate to difficult ride with 360-degree views of the landscape. The area offers a 10-mile, out-and-back track and a lengthier 16.4-mile loop trail. Bask in the views of Wolf and Quartz Creek, as well as the mountains.
This trail has a relatively steep incline for a span of about 5 miles — so brace yourself for a technical and fun ride.
The point-to-point trail is a downhill shuttle from Freeze Out Point and the bight of the Tongue River Canyon. You can start the course by leaving your vehicle at the foot of the canyon and making your way with your shuttle vehicle to Freeze Out Point, where you can start your bike ride.
This technical trail is ideal for avid bikers liking the challenge of riding over rocks and steep declines. The one-way track is 10.5 miles long with an elevation drop of over 4,000 feet, offering spectacular views.
This developing trail system is situated just off Red Grade Road, near Bighorn. The easy track is circular, taking riders on a route that boasts views of Goose Valley and Little Goose Peak. The Upper Loop and Lower Loop allow you to cycle multiple patterns with your family. The smooth, developing track is two miles long, making it an ideal route to take with less technical cyclists in your group.
