The Great American Lobster Fest

What to expect: The Coastal Bend Butterfly Festival is one of the largest events in South Texas. It's a celebration of butterflies, with live music and food vendors on hand. Islander Days Festival

Islander Days Festival is a celebration of island life and has been going on for over 30 years. The festival features a parade, street fair, and carnival. It's held in September every year on Port Aransas' East Beach (a short drive from Corpus Christi).

The festival features a carnival with rides for kids and adults, live music, and entertainment. It's a great way to spend a weekend in September.

Corpus Christi International Folk Festival

The Corpus Christi International Folk Festival is a three-day event held in June that celebrates the cultures of the world with music, dance, food, and crafts. The festival is free to attend and has been going on since 1976 when it was started by community members who wanted to share their heritage with others.

The event takes place at several locations throughout downtown Corpus Christi including La Palmera Park and Bayfront Plaza where you can find live performances from countries around the world including Mexico City; New York City; Osaka Japan; San Antonio Texas as well as many others!
