We had an incredible time at the KOA campsite, largely due to the excellent amenities and the wonderful staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The availability of golf carts and fishing equipment for rent added a special touch to our stay, allowing us to fully enjoy the expansive surroundings.

We had a lovely time at Baker/Otahki KOA. We had perfect weather and perfect view of the eclipse. The campground is enormous!! Room for all of us. The only criticism we have is that the roads are so so dusty. I'm sure there's still work being done and that will be fixed though. The food truck was a great idea. Our family ran in the 5K and we all enjoyed ourselves.

My stay was immensely enjoyable. I love the amount of available space, not just for camping but for exploring. The length of river available for relaxing and sports is extensive though given the temperatures I have yet to test. The camp crew were wonderful, helpful and so pleasant. It was a truly special few days and the full solar eclipse with all the additional entertainment was cherry.

We came for the eclipse and had a fabulous stay. The camp had wonderful activities for the event. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We plan to return and to encourage others to visit. The star gazing is unbelievable with almost no light pollution. The property is huge with lots of trails. They have river access and a lake. Plus national and state parks are very nearby.

Enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful lake & well kept grounds. Staff were helpful & friendly. New KOA and they continue to make improvements. Spots were more spacious than most KOA’s. Entrance road is a little tricky, but they are working to widen it. They had planned a great weekend of activities for the solar eclipse. Cabins looked excellent & even have 4 Conestoga wagons to rent! Lovely park.

The property was outstanding and the staff were awesome. They have it going, with all they have and can do there. We were there for the Eclipse and they had entertainment and extra things to do for everyone a few days leading up to the eclipse and all day during. We will definitely go back when back in this part of the country again.

We made the very best decision to book our stay at Sam A Baker/Otahki Lake KOA! Absolutely perfect for the viewing of the eclipse but with the bonus of the lake and the hospitality of the KOA staff. Large campground with spacious room in between camps. Amazing.

No doubt the best KOA experience we've ever had. The grounds and onsite resources were fantastic and the facilities and grounds were very clean and well managed. Moreover, the extra mile the staff went for the eclipse topped off the wonderful stay.

When we first booked our stay, I felt that the cost was pretty high for a site, but understood that it was for an event. (The 2024 eclipse) However, every time we turned around, we were pleasantly wowed by every staff member and volunteer there! Everyone went above and beyond and was happy. It was worth every penny and we’ll definitely be back! Keep up the great service!

My family had a great eclipse weekend!! Our grandchildren had a great life time experience, they learned all about the eclipse from the scientists. They rode their bikes, played on the playground, took hikes, experienced the star gazing and all the other activities including the face painting. Even found time to paint about 50 rocks and shells. We came for the eclipse. Loved the location (very beautiful), and we loved the eclipse events (music, beer garden, etc.). Staff were very friendly. We will plan to come back!

Seems like a new property. The staff were nice and helpful. Great location next to the state park. The lake is nice sized for paddle boarding or kayaking.

We stayed here overnight while make our way back to Illinois. Wow! Great place! We will for sure some back. Huge sites, a lake to swim in, river floats and a great rec room. Our only complaint is the road to get to the campground. Its is about a mile long gravel road. Seems only wide enough for 1 camper at a time. We did not run into any issues though.

This was our first trip in a new RV and this KOA is going to be hard to beat - the bar is HIGH! The owners were so nice and accommodating - the property was beautiful, and the spaces were generous (not on top of your neighbor). The bathroom/bath house was nicer than my HOUSE! Immaculate! As a bonus, the cabins will be great for extended family - truly spectacular.

This is our FAVORITE campground to stay at. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast! My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting 3 11-year-olds, a 9-year-old, and a 2-year-old...all girls...and we made it out alive. That's how you know this campground is the best. Lol. We'll be back soon.

Location is beautiful and the staff is great but there is no internet or cell phone service available so when you work on the road like we do this place in a definite no. On the other hand if you want to get away and unplug it is great.

It's a wonderful hidden gem. The bathrooms are new and heated, clean, and the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. There is so much to do outdoors, lots of land.

We enjoyed our quick weekend getaway. The whole campground is beautiful and peaceful. We felt welcomed upon arrival and throughout our stay. It was just an awesome time. I have already recommended this location and will continue to do so.

What a beautiful campground that is not oversized and has you packed in like sardines. Sites seem spacious. There was a lake to hike and several other trails as well. The river is close by. The owners were awesome! It maybe just getting started but it is well on its way and I hope it doesn't get oversized.

my family had a wonderful weekend at the best campground in southern mo. it was a beautiful fall time and the campground was clean and neat.we hope to return soon and stay in a cabin watch the animals and just enjoy nature. the owners of this place are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. so glad to have this near us.

The place is very nice, campground and lake are beautiful. However Hwy 318 is not marked very well, drove past it and could not turn around. The "road" to campground is terrible. Not suitable for large rvs . Thankfully there was no on coming vehicles on our way in! If you have a pop-up-perfect!
