Loved the area. Would of liked to have been greeted upon arrival. (we did arrive at 6pm) The equpiment could of been kept up better (the e bikes not available) the golf carts should of been more of "off road" type. Bathrooms were the best KOA we've ever stayed.

I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA’s and this one was the most unique of all. Bravo � From spaciousness to awesomeness the park had everything a camper could possibly want.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful location. For as nice a location the sites themselves were not so great. A back in sites had trees but the two we had not even a Bush.. The 100 degree feel like heat was also to blame but we were just very disappointed. The club house and the bathrooms were OK so oh visit was not bad. It’s just could be a lot better.

This is not your typical KOA! It's quiet, and peaceful. There is some room between your neighbors depending on the site and the river access is simply amazing. Beach and pond need some work.

We stayed at a camp site had full hook ups which was great. There's alot of fun stuff to do. Definitely will be back. The staff was very helpful and polite. Thank you all

We were there for 10 days and it was awesome. We stay at this KOA several times a season and we are always amazed at the people that work there. They are so helpful and always glad to see us and help us In Any way to make our stay amazing. They have made some wonderful improvements over the last couple seasons and we are anxious to see what transpires during this season. Thanks for great camping.

We had a fabulous stay! Wish the ability to sit around the fire was a bit more level. We stayed in spot 36. Really only 2 people could sit by the fire without having to step over the rocks and down. Which is farther away from the fire as well as at night can lead to falls.

Otahki Lake KOA is a beautiful campground! There is gorgeous scenery, space between RV parking, and amiable staff. If you want to be surrounded by nature with your camping experience, this is where you want to be. It's a gem!

Beautiful well maintained. Very peaceful. They offer so much to do there, river float trips, fishing, rafting, swimming, hikes, we will be back for sure.

This place is amazing! The staff are the kindest, so welcoming and accommodating. We love it here, can't wait to go back, wish we could have stayed longer! Asked my son if he was glad to be home- he said no, wanted to still be at otahki camping! Our family reunion weekend was perfect, Morgan was wonderful helping us get everything organized. Everyone is already talking about doing it again!

Gorgeous location. Staff are so kind and inviting. During bad weather, all campers and their dogs were invited to the lodge to stay safe and entertained. I only rated it a 9 out of 10 because my kids wished the bounce pad was blown up and also wished there was a pool. We had plenty of splash time in the lake and river!

In communication constantly with campers. Nice campsites, lots of fun for the family. Nice cream social, pizza delivery to campsite. Ga.mes, beautiful lake They have wifi. They don't answer have phone service.

Beautiful, quiet, clean campground. The restrooms and showers were clean. The employees were all very kind and helpful. The only reason I am giving a 4, instead of a 5, is because the sites are small. Since, there was only 2 of us on this trip, that was fine. A larger group would need more room. The roads were washed out some, on the way to the campground, but that’s due to Mother Nature.

Very nice camp ground. Very clean bathhouse. Loved the trails for walking, biking or golf cart. The E bikes were a let down. Had to ride or walk multiple bikes up hill with no power assist due to battery issues. If they offer these then I would highly recommend better service on the bikes to ensure a better experience

We were there for 10 days and the only thing that went wrong was the weather! They are always pleasant, willing to help in any way and truly happy to have us in their campground. We go several times a year and it never disappoints us. Gene and Helen

We stayed at Sam A Baker/Otahki Lake KO during the week (in May) and had the campground almost to ourselves. The campground is very nice and the staff is super friendly. We took a long walk around the lake with our two doggies and we all really enjoyed it.

This is by far the Biggest koa ever. Lots are spread out. Staff was great. Only stayed one night. But Lots to do here. Very secluded. Not by the interstate noise like many koas.

Hosts are wonderful, camp facilities are clean. My husband especially liked the free coffee every morning at the Community Center.

Access to this campground was up an unsafe road for a 34K lbs. GVWR diesel pusher after recent heavy rain. The campground failed to advise us of the road's actual condition when asked.

Loved the scenery and the single compete unit bathrooms. Would like to have more hooks for hanging jacket or rain coat while showering. The little golf carts are nice for getting around wet areas on the main walkways.

This was one of the most pleasant KOA experiences I’ve ever had. The area is beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the entire staff was terrific.

The grounds are very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our rental golf cart very much. There are alot of paths and trails to explore and the golf cart was the way to go for us. Many additions are being added to the park, a bounce pad, luxury RVsites and enhanced wifi. Our site in Whispering Pines loop was large and private and the lake was beautiful. We are looking forward to staying again.

We booked Sam A. Baker/Otahki Lake KOA last year for the 2024 Total Eclipse from Friday April 5-12 but stayed until Sunday the 14th. Many events scheduled on the day of the eclipse with live music, food and a Star Tour provided by one of the local astronomy clubs. Absolutely beautiful campground. Dark Sky! Family owned and operated, I cannot say enough about everyone there. We will be returning!

Great campground. Amazing location. Pristine bathrooms. Nice lake for fishing with awesome trails for hiking or running. The staff was also amazing, finding eggs for me after I left mine at home. Just a reminder - make sure to bring all the supplies you need - the nearest grocery story is a bit of a drive (like for beer or worms for fishing). We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!
