Campground is clean and amenities are new. Staff was very friendly. There really is not anything to do outside the campground and state park.

The camp ground is a hidden gem with large spacious camping spots, a lake with a beach, activities and many cabins. The entry road is very narrow, Wash board surface gravel, but scenic. The staff were friendly.

We had an absolute wonderful time! It was certainly a family vacation we will always remember! Otahki Lake is our favorite hidden gem. The property is beautiful, the staff members are amazing, and there is always something to do!

The hayride with the wizard of oz characters were a surprise. The glampy tent #1 was amazing. Wouldn't change a thing. Staff was awesome.

The campground/cabin was very peaceful and everyone who worked there was extremely nice and helpful. The lake has great fishing: caught two fish with 12 worms in an hour!

Very nice people working the site. Cabins, although small, are very clean and have the necessary amenities. Good access to a lot of different things to do. This was our second time staying here and it was just as enjoyable as the first time.

Loved our stay. Always great to unplug and enjoy. The activities during our weekend had the haunted hayrides at night and the pumpkin patch trip for the kids during the day. These were a big plus for the families. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay at Sam A. Baker/Otahki Lake KOA. Accomodating camp staff, clean cabins, activities for kids, beautiful scenery, wildlife, river access, and can't forget the club car! Our Fall family campout was a success!

Enjoyed our stay so much at Sam A Baker/Otahki Lake KOA, the cabin was perfect, grounds were beautiful, activities were so enjoyable, but the topper is the wonderful staff there.

We all had a great time and will be back next year. We love that Otahki has accommodation for are whole family and friends (which is hard to find at other places). They have fun stuff planned all the time. The staff is very sweet, kind, understanding, and make you feel welcomed.

Our first time at this location and it could not have been better. The site is fantastic, the people were amazing and so friendly. We are already planning our next visit. So peaceful. This location doesn't have good cell coverage and the sites don't have wi-fi but we thought it made it even better. We were forced to unplug and it made the stay so much more relaxing! Absolutely LOVED IT!

We absolutely love staying at Otahki Lake! There's so much to do for adults and kids, the Base Camp cabin was perfect for our group and the staff is top notch!

We picked Otahki Lake KOA because it is so new. It was our first time in a deluxe cabin and it was really nice. We loved having the kitchen area and gas grill. We got that secluded in nature feeling as the deluxe cabins are in pairs and the other cabin was unoccupied. There is a brand new Dollar General close by which was awesome. Only, suggested improvement is a picnic table by the fire ring.

This KOA Holiday location is spacious and quiet with beautiful landscaping. However, this is overshadowed by the lack of basic amenities that we are accustomed to at KOA. There was zero description of the difficult dirt road to access the site. We were also surprised to see the absence of any swimming pool, wifi, cell signal, or Cable TV. KOA should have made these lack of amenities known

Many nice things about this park, but I don’t know why a park only 2 years old could not have done a better job leveling sites. We could barely level our coach. The sewer drains are on the uphill side of many sites. We had to move our coach to drain our tanks. For the price of sites this should not be.

This park and its personnel are second to none! We have stayed here many times this year and have another visit scheduled for October. We look forward to visiting whenever we can. It’s clean, friendly and very accommodating to a campers needs I only wish they had a small restaurant but that doesn’t stop us for enjoying what they do have! Love it!!!

The gentleman who manages the campground went out of his way to wait for us to arrive around 8 pm. He led us to our site and made sure we were ok. We were extremely grateful to him because it was dark, and the area is spread out. However, the road leading to the campground is long and narrow and rough. We didn't realize how far off the main road it was. We only stayed one night.

The campground is very nice in a beautiful setting with lots of nice amenities. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It's somewhat deceptive to tack on the Sam Baker name. The campground is close to the state park but not affiliated with them in any way. We stayed at Otaki for the full hookups which Sam Baker does not have.
