Growing for the Future: New Trees Coming to Camp Soo Line

Growing for the Future: New Trees Coming to Camp Soo Line

Since purchasing Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA just over a year ago, we've spent a lot of time listening to our guests. Whether it's conversations around the campfire, reviews, emails, or feedback during check-out, one request has come up again and again: more trees, more shade, and more privacy throughout the campground.

We're excited to share that we're taking a major step toward that goal.

This season, we've begun planting new trees throughout the campground as part of our long-term vision for improving the guest experience. While trees don't grow overnight, we believe some of the best investments are the ones that benefit campers for years to come.

These new trees will eventually provide additional shade on sunny summer days, create more natural separation between campsites, and enhance the beauty of the campground. They will also help create a more relaxing outdoor environment for families, couples, and outdoor enthusiasts who choose to spend their time with us.

As new campground owners, we've been focused on making thoughtful improvements based on guest feedback. Every project we undertake is evaluated through one simple question: "Will this make the camping experience better for our guests?" Planting trees was an easy answer.

One of the things we love most about camping is connecting with nature. By adding more trees throughout the property, we're investing in a greener, more beautiful campground for future generations of campers to enjoy.

We know it will take time for these trees to mature, but every great forest starts with a single tree. We're excited to watch them grow alongside our campground and our camping community.

Thank you to all of our guests who have shared their ideas, suggestions, and encouragement over the past year. Your feedback helps guide the improvements we're making, and we're grateful to have such a supportive camping family.

Be sure to keep an eye on our website and social media pages for more campground improvement updates as we continue working to make Soo Line Trail/Onamia KOA an even better place to camp.

We can't wait to welcome you back and show you what's growing!
