We were a last-minute reservation made while on the road and got a space immediately. The owners were very nice and were so easy to work with. The facilities were well maintained and the showers were pristine--a real plus. We will gladly stay there again if we are in the neighborhood.

We were glad to get to meet y'all on this trip! Heads up to future campers: while we generally have a spot open for smaller RVs, try to book early for campers over 35ft! :)

First, let me say they have great signage making it easy to find.Most private campgrounds make it difficult to find them once you are off the highway.Second, this place was well-designed, clean, and had just about everything you would need for a stay-over.It is the best KOA I have ever stayed at.Third, the staff was friendly and helpful. I normally stay at state parks but will put this on my list.

Very clean and quiet campground. The bathrooms/showers were the nicest/cleanest I have encountered at a KOA to date.

A little bit off the highway but that means a nice and quiet stay. Pool was nice and clean with music playing. The shower/restrooms were clean, cool, and had a bench and hooks to put you things. Check in was quick and easy. There is a small dog playground with BBQ pit and chairs. They also have a community fire pit with chairs. Playground was nice but has sand. As always our stay was nice.

Very nice peaceful campground. Lovely wooded setting. Nice long wide pull through spots. Staff was super nice!

Great overnight stay. Very clean, large pool, very cool. Full hook-up, a dog parks around, very nice. I would highly recommend a stay at this KOA

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of trees so between that and bad weather we couldn’t use our DISH. Due to all the trees be aware of your slideouts.

We're ready to swap rainy season for waterhose season! :) While we love the loblolly pines for their shade, satellite service can be a bit of a challenge with some sites. Good thing we have SUPER-fast Wi-Fi across the campground to support lots of streaming!

The string lights that went around our campsite were way too bright and lit up our entire camper when I was trying to sleep.

We added the string lights to create a cozy campground glow, and guests have absolutely gushed over them. Every camper has different preferences, but this has been one of our most loved little touches!

The Toomsuba KOA provided a safe, super clean, relaxing overnight stay. If we weren't on a schedule, we would gladly have stayed longer. The pool was amazing. The service was friendly, informative, and very convenient. We highly recommend and look forward to enjoying their facilities during future travels. Thanks much.

Our extended stay (30 days) was great! The owners were very accommodating, they were always available whenever we needed anything and everything was extremely well maintained!

This has to be one of the best campsites I have been to. In all of my years traveling. The staff was fantastic! But the campground itself was spectacular. So clean, so many amenities, the lights were great! I would have liked to stay longer just to enjoy the campground. Thank you !

Very nice and well maintained, pool is beautifully kept. Had a very nice welcome from the owner, enjoyed the talk of his travels and goal of visiting all of the national parks before his daughter graduates high school.

We got a very friendly welcoming, were placed in spot 1 right by the office, swimming pool, cornhole (which we enjoyed!) There is not a bad spot here! This place has very nice, clean sparkling bathrooms! Highly recommend this location! Will definitely be back if we are passing through again!

It was a very peaceful overnight after a long drive. Well maintained, nicely lit at night, camp host was awesome.

Warning: Call the Kamp if you need directions from I20. DO NOT USE EXIT 157. That takes you down a very narrow road with low lying tree branches. Nice clean Kamp Grounds, helpful staff. We travel in a 41 foot Class A towing a Wrangler. RV rated Garmon GPS took off I20 @ exit 157 and the road to the KOA was just close to being impassable for out rig. Should have used the next exit going east

1000% agree! We are a quick scoot from Exit 165 (look for the Loves). Exit 157 is fine for camper vans and for our tent and cabin guests, but a mess for bigger rigs. Glad y'all were able to unwind with us here for a night! Safe travels!!

Absolutely the best. The pool was super sized and beautiful. They "string light" the roads, which is Disneyland magical and nice for tent campers walking to the bathrooms at night. Game room open 24 hours. No matter what time our family arrives, we can have a game night. The pine trees are beautiful. Stopped here for convenience, but will be back to stay for a few days. Very nice place.

As campers, every time we make a choice for the campground, we ask what we would want after a long day pushing miles. Easy lighting, something to do early or late, and a tidy campground are just a few of the things we crave for a campground we haven't been to before. We appreciate you noticing!!

Off the beaten track but a welcome place of refuge

We LOVE being close enough to the highway to allow for just a few minutes of decompression from highway traffic, but far enough that the sounds at night are bugs and not jake brakes! :)

I have stayed at dozens of KOA and other camps over the 30 years I have RVd. This was run by the best people, who deeply cared about the park, the facilities, and mostly, the campers. The owner, Cabel, was conscientious, helpful, and offered great advice on local places to visit. Obviously he is a fairly new owner, and working hard to bring the place the rest of the way up. We will be back

Great place! Best restrooms I have ever been in in a campground, newly redone but built to be maintained and easy to keep great job! Nice rec room! Nice pool. Friendly host!
