Campground great, flat site, great facilities and great wifi. Only issue just a little off main interstate down small country roads

We love sharing our little oasis of Mississippi pines tucked a little over a mile off the highway with our guests. Close enough to America's best invention while also being able to count fireflies at night! Can't wait to have y'all back!

Beautiful campground, well maintained, right off I20. We only stayed one night but liked it so much we booked a site for our return trip.

While the new owners are currently in the process of remodeling, you can see that they are putting in the time, resources, and efforts to help make your stay enjoyable. The new office roofs, renovations to the pool area, and remodeling of the office interior are just some of the improvements. Best of all are the renovated bathrooms and shower areas. My wife was very impressed.

Driving to the KOA, you pass a scrap metal place that is very unsightly. The park itself is old but fairly well maintained. Clean but needs upgrades. The men's bathroom was being remodeled so couldn't take showers. Would stay again

We're busy as can be with these upgrades to make your next stay your best stay! On the scrap yard...we hear you! We've invested considerably in clumping bamboo to remove this sightline. HUGE shout out to Mississippi State's Lauderdale County Extension office for help with species selection!!!!

In the process of finishing remodeling. Pool is gorgeous. Staff friendly and helpful.

This campground is great, quiet and very accessible from the highway. The owner is fabulous and so welcoming and helpful. Their wifi is fast, even for my remote job. We even had to hunker down in the office due to storms and they were right on top of taking care of everyone. The owner even went down the street to cut trees that fell in the road so that other campers could get to the campground!

It was a very nice stay. I would have rated a 5 star had the pool been working. We stayed there to relax and sit by the pool, which was being refurbished. Probably would have come a different weekend had we known that.

Not sure if it’s still under construction but it looks that way. Sites aren’t very level, all gravel was very thin with mud pushing thru it. It rained the night we were there and there was so much mud spatter on my rv I needed to wash it. The employees were awesome and the office/store is really nice but the sites need work.

We are in the final phases of significant renovations to the registration building. We can't wait for our big reveal!!! On top of the building renovations, we are also working our way through pad refurbishments. Sites 6 and 7 are complete, with the rest on the way! :)

Had a nice time at KOA Toomsuba. Thanks to Cable and the staff for an enjoyable stay. A great place to camp as we have family in Meridian and it is convenient to restaurants/shopping in town and the surrounding area.

We always stay here on our trips to and from Tennessee. It’s always a quiet and peaceful stay. The new owner, Cabel, is such a nice young man!! We can’t wait to stay there again in a few months!

Ok for an overnight. But I would not stay for more than that. The staff was great though. You could not ask for better service. They are in the middle of renovations. So things could improve. Our spot was well shaded bit all roads were gravel. The sites are gravel except for the ones with cracked pavement. I am sure that is on the renovation list.

We are voting the concrete pads from the days of the Carter Administration out! :) Two sites have already transformed to beautiful gravel (our soil would bust up new concrete like the current concrete pads) with a plan to get through the other 6 by Fall. Can't wait for you to see the finished work!!

Entire site needs TLC. Road close and noise. Roads within site are horrible.

Spring storms have hit our park hard and in rapid succession. With the calming of the weather, we have been able to grade the campground with fresh gravel to ensure a better driving experience. Looking forward to another chance to wow you!

We have stayed here many times. This was the first time under the new owner. WOW!! He has done a lot of work in the month he has owned it. We can't wait to see what else he does. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The grounds are spotless and the sites are perfect for an overnight stay or longer. The office was completely redesigned, and we love the new flow of the office.

The campground is under new ownership, they are updating, however, it has been raining and the campground was a muddy mess. They did change our site but the new site had such a stench of sewer that we were unable to even stay the night. Very unfortunate choice for us, wish the website was accurate!!

There was loud construction while we were there, but it is a requirement when making improvements. We were able to see past the temporary inconvenience of it. The new owner was super nice and very helpful. We had an issue with the clothes dryers after hours and he was quick to resolve the issue, going above and beyond for our trouble! We would recommend if you are in the area.

Grounds were kept up and clean. Some of the stuff was under construction like bathhouse and pool so couldn’t use those. It’s also right beside a scrap iron place.

Great campground. Currently doimg upgrades: pool is not operational and the RV pads (concrete) are broken and need trplaced. Overall this is a great location, we will stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
