The cabin smelled strongly of urine when I entered. If I had my family with me, I probably would not have stayed. Nice location. Nice campground.

The people working there were all amazingly kind and helpful. 5 stars+ for all of them. Compared to other KOA’s we have stayed at, the playground for our grandkids was pretty small and not much to it and the bath houses could use an update but we’re kept very clean. 5+ for the staff 3.5 for facilities.

We stayed overnight in a camping cabin while traveling. Had another great stay! Cabin was super clean and warm. Thank you, Meridian KOA!

Great stay. The kabin was nice. It was a little musty smelling and I sleep with a CPAP so that was worrisome. However, was able to clean it while traveling the next day. I have a cleaning system with me.

I am so sorry that you found your cabin less than. We have a strict cleaning procedure on our cabins. We mop after each occupant. We will certainly look into this. The primitive cabins do not have tv. We invite you to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

Third time staying here. One of my favorite KOAs. Scenery is pretty. Bathrooms and showers are spotless! Grounds are extremely well kept and the staff is always super nice. Pool is terrific with slide that goes into forest in summer. They had the greatest Halloween decorations all over the grounds. So fun!

Overall enjoyed our stay and the fact we were in the woods. The nearby scrap yard was quite noisy. Door on cabin needs adjusting so it opens all the way vs scraping the floor. Had a big wolf spider greeting our arrival. Appeared the walls had mold starting to form above the bunk beds from moisture. We would definitely stay again despite the issues. Loved the location and staff

It is very easy to drive your rig in this park. I have read some reviews where people talk about the drive into the part as being horrible. When you leave I 20, you drive down a county road. It is the typical width of a county road. So just slow down and it is no problem. We drive a 44' fifth wheel with a dually truck. Some sites have concrete (not in the best shape) and some have gravel pads. There are many trees but the park keeps them trim away from the roads. It was great to have shade. There is full hookup pull thru sites along with some back in sites. There are plenty of areas to walk your dogs along with a nice enclosed dog park. There are many activities for children – a large sandbox, pool, a water slide, playground, tether ball and a game room. This park is about 2 miles off I 20. It is very quiet. There are a few long timers but primary people stopping for one night Each night it is full and then empty by noon the next day. We were there for several months and paid $525 for the month. This included electricity. When we originally arrived, our plan was to stay one month to visit family. But due to some health issues with ourselves and our family, we ended up staying for over 6 months. The best part of this park is the staff. Each staff is friendly, welcoming and will do anything possible to make our staff so wonderful. The staff take meticulous care of the park including picking up daily all the cigarette butts that people think they can just leave on the ground. Due to their service, they get a lot of repeat customer visits.

Great place to stay. Stopped on way to Talladega for 2 days. Very nice, helpful staff. Property and all facilities are very clean

We were really in a bind due to a closure at our next place to stay on a road trip, and they were wonderful to work with and were willing to help us out let minute! Perfect for a one night stay on a long haul drive!
