I love this place! I stay here overnight going to and coming back from Texas. I always get an easy drive through and twice I’ve gotten the two spaces with private dog runs. I love them!!!

Love all the improvements that have been made over the last year. The store looks great. The tree string lights that have been added are beautiful, almost magical, when it's dark.

Needs better signage, especially at night. We had a lot of trouble finding it on a very dark night. The u turn at the end of the pull through spaces is very tight and I saw a man do a lot of damage to a very large motorhome and had to help him move some very large rocks to escape. The managers were very nice and helpful, but I would not recommend for large units especially arriving at night.

Thanks for the feedback. Guests using an RV-safe GPS never report trouble and compliment our signage. Large rigs with tows navigate our park daily without issue. Tight turns require wide tracking; problems can happen from cutting too close. Our new lighting system also improves night visibility.

They were excellent they help us with a problem with our RV .After we tried to call around with no success My husband went to let them that are Rv . They help with a RV Repair man .he was excellent thank you again

Great campground! Very well kept with immaculate bathrooms, a nice pool and activities for the family. The owners seem very interested in making this a fun family destination.

I got there late (after 8 p.m.). Caleb was ready and very helpful. I was reminded of why I hadn't stayed there in quite awhile. I'm a tent camper and there is a neighbor on the east side who has a pack of dogs that bark ALL NIGHT. It is very hard to sleep. I will see if there's a tent camping spot on the other sides in the future. The noise is incessant.

This is a beautiful park with many things to keep you busy during your stay. The owner is great and very friendly. One of the most wooded sites we stayed at going from Raleigh, NC on the way to Houston, TX. One minor glitch with the WiFi but the owner sent out email about the issue. Not an on-site issue but a provider issue. Love the lights that border the site. Makes for a nice evening walk.

We had a wonderful stay at Meridian East it’s a lovely campground with beautiful Trees . Also very clean staff was very friendly and helpful. We will diffidently stay again

Very helpful needed a fuse and Chris employee went out of his way to accommodate us. It was our first camping experience. Chris really helped us. Thank you!

Easy stop while heading south. Nice long sites with some room in between. Very well maintained and clean. Wonderful new owner who obviously takes pride in his campground and he loves diet Dr. Pepper! Close to interesting things to do including not far from “Home Town” Laurel. Have visited before and will again.

Great stop! Friendly staff and very clean and maintained campground. We’ve stayed here twice before and always keep this stop in mind when traveling through.

Under new ownership, they are “sprucing up” the place some but the number one issue continues to be sites that are significantly out of level

Hey campers! Level sites are a big deal to us. We tested this one with tools and even parked our own camper — all level. But rigs can vary, so if yours feels off, just let us know and we’ll gladly come check it out!

We were only there for one night. Beautiful sites, very clean and roomy for a KOA. Our interaction with staff was wonderful. The only downside was lack of Wi-Fi even though it’s advertised as great Wi-Fi. We got there in the afternoon and got decent Wi-Fi but as the evening wore on we literally could not get any Wi-Fi at all. I even tried my own personal hotspot and could not get anything.

Wild story..a fellow camper unplugged the access point near your site to plug in a light. Never a dull day at the KOA! We've installed locks on the outlet covers to reduce the chance of this happening again. We're glad everything else was good to go for your stay!!

Nicest KOA crew ever!! The park is clean and well maintained! Spots are large enough for big rigs! We a had 36 foot and fit great!!

Bathrooms were clean and bright and the fans all worked and a nice area to walk around in the park. Owner was very nice and friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We will be back in the future.

This KOA is a great place to spend a few days/weeks or just overnight. It is far enough off I-20 to be nice quiet and peaceful. Cable and crew have done a great job renovating the KOA...the pool area is nice. Campsites are level and completely redone by removing the old cracked concrete and replacing with gravel. The renovated restrooms are immaculately clean and bright. Thanks for a great stay!

Awesome pull thru sites, I was able to keep my 37' RV hooked up for an early departure. Very friendly staff.

Camp hosts were very friendly and made you feel right at home. The campground at first seemed too small for big rigs, but was easy to maneuver in and out. Site was level and utilities worked well. Enjoyed our overnight stay.

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
