Great place to stay, improvements to park are amazing! First visit in 2010 and have been back a number of times. Traveling alone, I feel very safe and the staff is helpful & friendly.

We love getting to host a ton of different style campers. From large families making memories in a massive 5th wheel to a couple throwing out a tent for a few nights, to our cabin campers to our Vanlifers, we LOVE chatting around the campground with our awesome guests!!

We loved our RV stay at Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA Journey! The RV sites were level, spacious, and easy to access. Everything felt brand new and was incredibly clean, from hookups to restrooms. They’re truly pet friendly with great walking areas and pet stations. The whole campground is spotless and well maintained. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful campground - love the music, clean bathrooms, and colorful lights at night! Easy no-fuss in and out with cabin lodging, super nice staff. Would definitely recommend!

This koa is about the best we stayed at. The site was very nice and the hosts were welcoming and friendly.We loved the personal touches from the items in their gift shop to the lights strung throughout the campground and the music playing in the pool area. We would recommend it to everyone and hope to stay there again!

Always a great experience here! Very quiet and peaceful, I always sleep so well here! Very helpful and friendly staff, and nice new heaters in the cabins! I highly recommend this campground, 5 stars all the way. Thank you for the excellent stay!

The sweetest young lady checked us in. The cabin was comfortable and the facilities were clean. The campground was quiet and peaceful.

We were tickled pink to hear that our Ambassador of Relaxation (and resident third-grader) took the initiative to do a check-in while we were out escorting a camper to their site! We're glad you enjoyed your stay and can't wait to host you on your next trip!!

Nice upgrades, Lights, bathrooms, pool. ‘fridge and heaters in lodges.

We’re campers and LOVE spending time hanging out with our community. RV’ers, Cabin Campers, Tenters..all cool folk! From our Navy days, we hold fast to “If you have time to lean, you have time to clean”! Off to go scrub the bath houses!!

We LOVE how the paw pens turned out! With just about every camper traveling with their furry family members, the paw pens provide a great spot to hang out with your woofer!

Probably the nicest Koa we’ve stayed at. Close off the freeway but in a very wooded area. Quiet. Facilities and the overall setting was exceptional.

We stayed overnight. Easy access off and on from Interstate 59. Crew at campground were very friendly and helpful. Next time we’re in area we will stay longer to explore.

Fabulous grounds, clean camp sites and restrooms and the staff was friendly, as well as very helpful with travel ideas and a 10 out of 10 experience!

Great stay at Toomsuba KOA! Camping cabin clean and new mini split kept it nice and warm. Cleanest bath house we’ve ever seen at any campground. Really like the lights all around the property. Owner was super helpful and would highly recommend this KOA! Thanks so much!

This is a great (almost) halfway point traveling between our home in the ATL area and family in south LA/TX. Very convenient for a quick overnight stay.

We like to think we are in the perfect sweet spot from the highway. A quick 200 seconds from a camper's tires being on the interstate until entering our driveway. Close enough to not be inconvenient, but far enough to not hear the interstate. :)

The new owners are lovely and have put so much work into the park. The twinkling lights stretched through the trees look magical at night. Sites are freshly graded with rock. Our site was perfectly level which is rare. Everything looked clean and fresh. Would definitely return!

The Toomsuba, MS KOA is a wonderful, remote park nestled in the woods just off 59. They have everything you could want; it’s very quiet, clean, the management is very friendly and helpful, the sites are spacious and the park is well lit at night for walking dogs or leaving early.

Well lit facility. It has clean bathrooms and laundry room, with new game room, including: pool table, ping pong table, air hockey table and board games with sitting area and tv. There are outdoor games as well.The pool area is clean, well lit with music, covers picnic tables. Dog areas as well. New owners understand what campers are looking for in a campground. We will be back to stay!

We had a nice stay in Toomsuba, MS. They've done a lot of nice upgrades since we were there a year ago. Everything was nice and clean and very well maintained. Empolyees/owners were very pleasant.

stayed 2 nites. The owner was very friendly, and the campground was immaculate We have stayed here before and will always go back when travelling.

What a great KOA! Recent new owners and they have done so much to improve the campground. We stay here every year on our way to snowbird, but would definitely stay a week or two!

We stayed at Meridian East Toomsuba KOA as a one-night stopover going to and returning from a more distant camping destination between Christmas and New Year. It was perfect for our purposes and we would do it again. It is a bit off the beaten path, but very accessible to I-59. It is quiet, shady, and well maintained. It has a nice feel to it, a feature hard to quantify but important.

After reading this comment, we took turns working on the math behind a good campground. (Vibes + Flat sites + clean bathrooms) / Distance to the highway. :) Loved having y'all and can't wait to host you on your next trip!!

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
