Nice camp, wooded & quiet. Our stay was in Winter when temps dipped low. It was nice to have hook ups. They had propane refilling, it was nice to have it,. Staff was friendly & helpful . Clean, nice pool & play area. Definitely a great KOA

Narrow road leading to camp with large trucks speeding the opposite direction. Put in a shortest and muddy site at the bottom of a hill (that one site most parks have that should only be used in prime conditions or last option). The $17 city park in Wichita Falls the prior night was much more pleasant…

Really lovely campground, felt like a state park. I chose the cheapest spot, a back in tent spot, not a smart move for a 24’ motor home! I managed but it was a bit of trick. I would definitely stay again, nice wooded sites, not all lined up like a parking lot.

Dog feces in our site. Water connection stripped. Ok for overnight, but would not want to spend more time there. People were nice though.

We drive a 35 foot motor coach with a toad. We stayed for one night. The campground was clean and level. It was nicely decorated for the holidays. The bathrooms were clean and new. I received useful texts as my reservation approached. A great camping experience.

The site was uneven. I passed other site not used that were pads.

The pads that you passed were not big enough to accommodate your rig. The site you were in may have required a small amount of leveling. Every rig and site are different.

We only just stayed one night in passing thru to get home. I always enjoy this campground because the sites are spacious and clean. The managers of the property are always nice and friendly. And I feel very safe in the showers because they actually have doors and not just a curtain.

A gravel area hacked out of a hillside forest and nest to a junk yard. Parked , and got out my pistol.

That is uncommon to hear that someone felt unsafe . We have never had an incident at our campground. It is 1.5 miles from I-20 and rural. Which means no traffic, trains, or noise. The junkyard, located a quarter of a mile from here is unsightly to pass but scrap metal can't hurt you.

Perfect stop en Route 1-20. Large dog park, compared to others. Very strong lights at night so be sure you have black out curtains!

Staff friendly, but the location and sites are in need of a big upgrade. Just a stop on a long travel day for us. Honestly, if there were any other facilities within an hour of this stop I would have had a choice...but you are located in a spot that helps I-20 travelers with a place.ti park.

Very nice bathrooms and shower! The cement pads are all broken up. There is what appears to be a new dump/landfill directly across from the Rv park and there was a “controlled”burn happening that kept us awake in fear that it would spread. Breathing the smoke was abrasive on our lungs. We most likely will not stay there again.

We were happy to be able to accommodate you guys with a same day reservation. The fire was over 10 miles away, as we discussed upon check-in, and was of no threat to you. The smoke was much milder than a single campfire.

I’ve stayed in 60 KOA’s across the USA. This location does not have any level sites. The Propane nozzle was not working so my RV tank could not be filled and the nightly temps were in the 30’s. The Bathrooms were good, hot water. All stones to Shower building, No ADA accessible walkway.

I could have moved you to a different site. Every where you go will require some level of leveling.I did consult with our maintenance guy and he said it was your gasket and not our nozzle. I was not aware you needed an ADA accessible walkway. Communication is key and I only know what you tell me.

It is very easy to drive your rig in this park. I have read some reviews where people talk about the drive into the part as being horrible. When you leave I 20, you drive down a county road. It is the typical width of a county road. So just slow down and it is no problem. We drive a 44' fifth wheel with a dually truck. Some sites have concrete (not in the best shape) and some have gravel pads. There are many trees but the park keeps them trim away from the roads. It was great to have shade. There is full hookup pull thru sites along with some back in sites. There are plenty of areas to walk your dogs along with a nice enclosed dog park. There are many activities for children – a large sandbox, pool, a water slide, playground, tether ball and a game room. This park is about 2 miles off I 20. It is very quiet. There are a few long timers but primary people stopping for one night Each night it is full and then empty by noon the next day. We were there for several months and paid $525 for the month. This included electricity. When we originally arrived, our plan was to stay one month to visit family. But due to some health issues with ourselves and our family, we ended up staying for over 6 months. The best part of this park is the staff. Each staff is friendly, welcoming and will do anything possible to make our staff so wonderful. The staff take meticulous care of the park including picking up daily all the cigarette butts that people think they can just leave on the ground. Due to their service, they get a lot of repeat customer visits.

We were really in a bind due to a closure at our next place to stay on a road trip, and they were wonderful to work with and were willing to help us out let minute! Perfect for a one night stay on a long haul drive!
