A hidden gem nestled in the Mississippi forests, this was a great stay for myself and my dog. There were good facilities for a family to stay and can honestly say had this trip been with my son, he would have enjoyed the pool and games that were clearly well-kept. 5/5 without question.

We'd say hit us up with the whole family next weekend, but we are a little far from the Palmetto State.. :) From our four-legged friend to yours: Woof. :) We'll see you next time y'all head through Mississippi's Pine Belt!

Great place to stay, friendly and a clean place

Thank you for the oppertunity to host y'all on this trip! While we only have one PT W/E 30 amp site, Site 19 is our little oasis nestled by the cabins. Perfect for vanlifers, Scamps, an other smaller camping setups!!

We're blessed with truly outstanding guests! There's always a little tidying here and there, but our campers are known for being extra courteous to others. It makes for a better stay for everyone and frees us up to keep dreaming up our next crazy project. :)

I used this location for a single night layover. Check in was quick. The staff was friendly. It was quiet and had ample shade. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to utilize the amenities offered.

Very clean, well lit at night . Very safe for my little one to play at the playground. I could see him playing from the kabins . The walk to the bathroom was close. Pool area was a fun atmosphere with music playing. We all enjoyed our stay . Lovely park.

We are head over heels for this lifestyle! We rebuilt the campground into the one we'd want to pull into after a long day. The best part of the campground life? Getting to meet new campers every day! Swapping travel plans, tales from the road, offering assistance for little RV hiccups. Cloud 9!!

The campground was beautifully tucked into the woods and impeccably maintained. The night lighting was magical. Will definitely be back.

We do our best to keep everything tidy. Our secret sauce? Our AWESOME guests! We are so fortunate to have campers that leave their sites like they found it the vast majority of the time. Same with campers cleaning up after their dogs. Great folks stay here!!

The Manager and the Maintenance man were friendly and very communicative towards all there. They both seem to work hard to improve and maintain the grounds very well. We had an enjoyable stay and would definitely welcome a return trip to this campground.

It was the nicest KOA I have ever experienced. The dog pen not only had nice chairs, but also tables between the chairs, firelogs beside the fire pit, ready for use, and a small grill available, if desired, along with the necessities for dog care. At night, I was delighted to enjoy perifery lights which allowed me to take dogs out and feel safe as well a very pleasant ambiance from small lights

Overnight stay on our way to LA. Not right off the highway which was nice. The owners are very involved and truly care about their guests and it shows. Site wasn’t as level as we would have liked but it was long enough so we didn’t have to disconnect. Would stop again if we’re in the area.

Very nicely updated. Lower portion of site needs more rock on road service. Ok for dry weather, but wet weather creates mud that gets tracked in to RV, thus the 4 rating, otherwise a definite 5. Great wifi service.

Totally fair comment! We just completed a sewer extension to that portion of the campground and will have our gravel delivery to wrap the project in the next few days before our next rain. :)

Extremely lovely and charming camp grounds! Very clean and well maintained. We only got to spend one night, but I would have loved to stay longer.

Our stay was great! This park is in a good location for us going north to visit family in NC and CT in our RV for 1st night, or last, on the road. Nice, level pull-thru site and they had every amenity we needed. We will continue to be repeat visitors.

Great place!! Bathrooms are really nice, great pool and the owners are great also. We stated in a cabin it was well kept and clean. Definitely 5 star!

Campground was nice. Door on cabin 5 was very loud anytime you went in and out. Squeaked like a haunted House movie. Needs some oil. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I’ve been coming to this KOA since 2020. It’s always been a nice quiet stay. But this trip was even better. So many updates. Lots of lighting that really sets a cozy vibe without overpowering the dark. Much easier to see when walking to the bathroom at night. New A/Cs in cabins, and mini fridges. Very nice additions. I will always stop here in my travels.

We are a small, family owned campground. We’re campers. We LOVE this life!! We live a “life of Saturdays”. We get to hang out with cool folks, fix a few things, tend the landscaping, and spend money at Lowes. :) What everyone works all week to do is our norm. Our guests truly make it all

Cosy place surrounded by mature trees. Very friendly staff. Site is clean but not all the sites are level. Access is bit challenging for the large rigs.

Hey campers! Huge shoutout to our local Extension Office for teaching us what we need to know to keep our trees healthy! On the level item: we grade every two weeks. Site entry/exit aprons maybe be confused with an unlevel site. 45-footers stay here almost every night without complaint..

Nice staff. We had stayed here many times and like all the improvements the have done. Now if the county would fix the roads to the KOA that would make it even better.

very clean and quiet campground. Huge pool! Was the perfect campground for us to stay while visiting our son who is stationed in meridan. Very friendly staff and nice camp store. Enjoyed our stay.

Cabel and Chris were fantastic! My daughter is in a wheelchair, and they both went above and beyond to accommodate her and help us out. Cabel even treated us to a pack of smores supplies, which we loved! We enjoyed the many stories and interesting displays in the store, as well as hearing how this KOA is giving back to the community. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Nice out of the way campground. Far enough off the interstate to be nice and quiet. Surrounded by woods. Showers and bath house were nice and clean. I stayed in a camping Cabin with a mini split that was great.

Great Stay!!! Much improved since our last stay here a few years ago. Was greeted on our arrival even though the office was closed. Great friendly staff and will definitely return for a longer stay! Will highly recommend to all of our friends!!

Gabriel is awesome! Loved the secluded area and mostly quiet. Site was a bit small, but the CG is well maintained and very clean! We stayed here last Dec 2025 and a lot of work has been done since then and now Mar 2026. I only wish the trees along the route there were trimmed better and that signage for the turns was better.

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
