My friends and I take an annual girl camping trip and have come the last 5 years to Toomsuba. Last year I also brought my kids to stay in a cabin and it was a fun time! They obviously take a lot of pride in the park and they continue to have cute additions. We will be back soon!

We're so glad we decided to spend the night at Toomsuba KOA on our drive from Houston to Tennessee! This campground was awesome, clean, and quiet! The owners really have put their hearts into making this place special and it shows!

Super secret: we're campers who had a midlife crisis and bought a campground. Our team rebuilt Meridian East into the campground we'd like to see after a long day of too many miles. We couldn't have done it without them!!

There for 3 nights, awesome place clean, neat, loads of amenities. Loved the nighttime lighting, and especially the daily puppy visits. Highly recommend.

This KOA journey is top notch in every way! The staff was friendly, the grounds were well kept/clean/beautiful, the sites level and easy to get to in our 44ft 5th wheel. The lights in the tress were a nice touch and gave a very welcoming feel to the campground. Our only wish is that we had stayed longer than an overnight so we could enjoy the amenities more. We would 10/10 stop again.

We'd love to have y'all make the hop over to visit with us again! While we love when folks get to check out our onsite ammenties, we also LOVE the chance to send folks on adventures around Mississippi's Pines region to check out some of what the Magnolia State has to offer!!

The campground was well maintained, clean and landscaped. The site was a bit tight for our big coach however it did work for us. I would recommend this to anyone needing a day or 2 stay during their trip.

We're honored to have hosted y'all on this trip! While we are typically a one-night stay on our guest's journey, two nights would give a solid rest day in the middle to check out all that Lauderdale County has to offer! See you next trip!

Smaller KOA, but very well kept and improved under the new owners. Nice light strings, pool looks great (still a bit chilly for us), dog waste units all over the place which I wish other KOA's would do. Watch the last 1/2 mile on the road there, a recycle plant is located right on a bad curve and they hog the road getting in and out. Will stay again.

Love this place! We had a really nice, large dog pen for just our 3 dogs at our site. The campground is beautiful, shady, and we'll maintained. Highly recommend it for one night or longer stays. They have a beautiful pool and lots if activities. The owners are wonderful.

Nice park. Sites could be better leveled. Bathhouses were clean and modern. Cars parked along road at dump nearing campground were difficult to navigate

Thank you for the feedback on the bathhouses! Looking back at your reservation, we see you had a site with a short ramp before the site. This design allows for a super level site while minimizing the impact to the landscape. :)

The park is super cute, clean, and easy on/off the freeway for our overnight stay. Other reviewers have left comments about the fact that when you're driving to the park, you're not sure if you're headed to the right place because of the neighborhood, etc. However- we found that the owners have done a great job with signage, etc. which is great!

Signage is an art. Bad news, we're not artists! :) Thankfully a few other KOA owners were able to bring the fine touches to make our signage super easy peasy!

We enjoyed the campground. Bathrooms were quite large and incredibly clean. Team was helpful checking in and we loved the options. We will be back.

Campground very clean, restrooms very clean. Campsite graded and level. Hosts very personable and great with check in and making sure everything was right. I will stay again at this campground.

We love how quiet and a bit remote this campgrounds location is. Very nice young folks run this one and are very interested in your comfort. We definitely recommend staying there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This is a very attractive property with sites carved into a hillside. Our site included a huge paw pen with a patio built into the pen with attractive furniture and a very nice fire pit. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restrooms were sparkling clean. We highly recommend this park.

This is my favorite KOA. It’s run by the most lovely organized and thoughtful couple. It’s beautifully cared for, landscaped, and cleaned. The bathrooms are immaculate and locked for additional safety. The pool is beautiful. The cabins are kept perfectly. I feel so lucky that this place is on my route to my favorite vacation spot.

Small quiet campground. It's clean and well taken care of. The owners are friendly. If you're traveling interstate 20 it's an easy stopover near Meridian.

We had a dog site with the kennel which we love because our dog’s do not care for other dogs. The first night some guy from across the street walked his dog right up to the fence knowing how our dogs were being. The next morning around 9:30(not quiet hours) we were packing up to leave, the same dog was out (U need more room) bottom line office guy was extremely rude and very unprofessional.

We believe campground camping requires a certain level of courtesy from everyone so all guests can enjoy their stay. That includes managing excessive barking, even outside quiet hours. Our request was made calmly and respectfully. It is unfortunate that it was not received that way.

We staid just one night but found everything in good order. The bathhouse was very clean. Even though we didn’t use the pool it looked sparkling clean and inviting.

It is a KOA Journey so a relatively small campground. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The sites were very nice. I was disappointed that the site didn't have a fire pit. Despite being a KOA Journey, there were many activities available.

Hey campers! With most of our guests being quick overnighters that don't setup camp, we keep a few Bonfireball firepits for checkout. Looking forward to someone braving our new slacklines!

I was greeted by friendly staff after hours and given a rundown on the grounds. He was very nice and helpful. I had a campsite tucked away and it was perfect! Bathrooms were clean with hot water! I highly recommend to anyone passing through or spending a few days in the area to check it out.

The upgrades and improvements of this park over the past 2-3 years are stunning. The groomed gravel leveling of all the sites made for easy set up and comfortable walking. The added amenities of numerous dog parks around the park, renovated pool area and game space elevated this facility to a new level of enjoyment. This park is very worth visiting in a well wooded environment.

We've been busy! :) One of our favorite projects was the rebuilding of your spot for this stay, Site 13, into a patio site with a Paw Pen. No one has been able to tell us of a larger Paw Pen at any KOA! Now if we can get anyone to brave our new slack lines..

Staff extraordinary Grounds very well kept Cons : Not extremely big rig friendly Road in will make you question your decision, but you do arrive at an oasis Roads are extremely tight inside park. No fire rings.

We LOVE our big rigs campers! Bringing your Tiffin to Red Bay for some work? Headed to the beach in your American Coach? Taking a pitstop in your Prevost? We got you and the toad! Pro Tip: Please make sure to select Motorhome Towing if you do have a tow vehicle so we can ensure a smooth entry. :)

The new owners have put alot of work into their facility. The spaces have been leveled and stone put on the roads. The new owner is very friendly.This is a very quiet campground and we stop here about twice a year on our cross country trips to Dallas and Phoenix.

Only had time for one night but WOW what a great campground. Everything, from the staff, to the gameroom, to the lights in the trees…this is an awesome campground.

Cleanest bathrooms around. The Pool looked like it was AI generated, absolutely beautiful. Friendly staff.

Thank you for the kind words about the pool! Eerily spot on with the AI part. We run all of our chemistry thru ChatGPT to look for trends and it gave us the idea to borate the pool for a gentle, soft feel on the skin! Our cleaning crew is second to none! Huge shout out to them for awesome effort!

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
