The facilities were welcoming and clean. We enjoyed our evening in the game room after doing laundry. The campground itself is beautiful and let's you forget your so close to town. The hosts were so pleasant to interact with. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Campground was nice. Owner is very friendly. Roads to the campground are tight.

We were happy with our stay here. Loved the strings of lights all around the grounds. Only stayed one night on our way to New Orleans.

The coolest part of putting on the Yellow shirt every day is getting to meet awesome campers on their way from somewhere to their next somewhere. Y'all were wonderful to host!

We LOVE welcoming fun campers into our backyard every day. From swapping road stories to making connections with techs to get an RV back on the road to working on the supper plan, we wouldn't trade it for the world!

I arrived late, and the campground was beautiful and very well lit. Unfortunately, I never found my campsite, as I’m pretty sure someone was already parked in it. I did use the showers, which were spotless and perfect. Since it was so late, I decided to continue my drive home. From what I saw, it was a beautiful, very well-kept campground.

Clean, friendly staff, cabin convenient to bathhouse and all amenities, nice dog park, great directions on website and email. Will definitely stay again.

If you ever want to camp in the woods a mile off the interstate, this nice quiet campground is the place to go!

That's one of our specialties! Finding a campground that wasn't close enough to give truckers high fives from the pool deck while also not being waaaaaaaaaay out of the way took a while, but we got lucky and found these 20 acres. :) Glad to have had the chance to host y'all!!

We LOVE that we found these little 20 acres with a fresh set of fellow campers every night. There is no way in the world we would trade swapping stories and a little yard work for the conference tables we escaped from!

Great campground, love the lights around park. Everything was so clean, staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I’ve never seen so many dog waste stations in a campground! They were everywhere…and yet people didn’t clean up after their dogs. Good job, camp management, bad job campers �

We totally stole the concept from Walt Disney himself! If we make it easy to stay tidy, folks tend to do the right thing. Plus, they get a bit more affordable when you buy them in bulk. :)

Great facilities and the only KOA Ifound that has an air compressor.

Thank you for sharing one of our lesser-known amenities! We're campers ourselves. We've met enough folks who have had tire explosions at highway speed. Making sure you can start off your day with proper tire pressure is SUPER important for us!

The kampground is very clean. It is really beautiful at night with all the lights and very quiet. We really liked the updates and everyone is so friendly and helpful.

Very convenient for overnight stay. Quiet, clean, and a very friendly staff. Sites were large and had some large trees.

One of the many hats we wear around here is that of an arborist. Keeping our grove happy and healthy has been a near non-stop learning experience we wouldn't trade for the world! :)

Very nice. Beautiful pool area and restrooms/showers. Everything clean and neat. Nice laundry also. We only spent one night but loved it!

Of all the many campgrounds we’ve stayed at over the years,this one ranks among the very best. We enjoyed everything about it and the people. Thanks for making this an enjoyable experience.

We've stopped over here 4 times in the last 4 years traveling from Texas to NC. We had met the new owners about a year or so ago and let's say they've spent a lot of time and money really adding to and fixing up the entire Park. Great Service and grounds kept immaculate. My wife really loved all of the lighting through the Park that makes her feel comfortable with any walks. Great job...

From our Navy backgrounds, we call this time last year our shipyard visit. Lots of big, heavy work that was well overdue. We're super glad to be on this side of all the major projects. Smooth sailing! :) Looking forward to showing off our next big idea on your next trip!!

Was a short overnight stay so did not get to enjoy the campground. I did see a nice pool. The bathrooms and shower facilities were more than adequate although later that night the code for the bathroom door did not work.

Pro tip on the bathrooms. If someone enters the wrong code too many times, wait 60 seconds and try again. If all else fails, give us a call and we'll race out to help. :)

We Loved How The camp ground was quiet and secluded the location was.

What sold us on picking Meridian East was how 200 seconds of driving can take you from the hustle and bustle of the interstate to a chill campground under the pines. 548 days later, the team is INCREDIBLY proud of what we've been able to turn this special spot into! Safe travels!

Nice and friendly staff. Level sites and nice area. Easy access from hwy #20 and far enough away NOT to hear any road noise. Very clean bathrooms and pool area.

Beautiful campground, clean restrooms, well equipped and fun game room, nice seating around bonfire ball, large pool with nice music playing nearby, all thanks to a gracious owner, and his family.

Nice, but water pressure was very low.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our water pressure ranges from 45 to 48 psi. Most campers have a max inlet pressure of 50 psi. We always recommend that campers use a pressure regulator as standard practice. We can't increase it on our end without risking damage to our guests' equipment if they connect directly to the spigot.

The owner (Cabel) checked us in. Had a great conversation with him about the park and the area. Plenty of shade trees a welcome sight as the temp was exceeding 100. The pool was clean. Our sight was easy in and mostly level only took one block. No question I would stay here again.

Very nice campground. The grounds and roads were in perfect condition. This was the best kept KOA we’ve ever stayed at.

Clean and quiet with friendly staff. Pool is large and well maintained. Dog park was a nice perk. We stayed for one night on our way back home. Would definitely stay again.
