This Koa is very clean and love the location. The new owners have done an amazing job! I will be staying there again in the future. They received a 10 plus on Hospitality, Store, game room, bathrooms, shower and swimming pool.

Neat clean park. Basic necessities available. New owner/operator Cable was fantastic. Great location just off the highway. Look forward to staying there again.

Quiet, tree filled park. Cabin could use a small refridgerator to make life just a tad better. Bathrooms recently updated and the pool area is nice. Cabin is great place to stay with a pet.

Absolutely immaculate. The bathrooms and the grounds were so clean. The pool was gorgeous and well maintained. The front desk was friendly and helpful. This has been our best experience at a KOA to date. The road to it was a sketchy, but that's not the KOA's fault. The sites were big and woody. We were so pleased and will use this KOA again on our travels. Great job, y'all!

Not far from the interstate but feels like your miles into the woods. We only stayed 1 night but it was quite and very clean. It's tucked into the woods I'm glad the sun was still up, it would not have been fun finding it in the dark. The road leading to campground is a little narrow and people drive really fast around blind curves. Would definitely stay again.

The facility was nice but I thought I had booked a full hookup and it didn't have sewage. The manager was nice enough to switch me to a full hookup for the higher rate though. The only problem I had with giving this KOA top marks was the location. It was pretty far off the interstate and the drive to the camp went through a not so nice metal recycling site.

Beautiful site and campground. Clean restroom and showers with friendly and quiet campers. I arrived late with no check-in issues. I will stay there again.

We are already a big fan of KOA and just marked this one as a new favorite. We were greeted by Calob even though we arrived late, and we were parked within five minutes. The campground is really pretty, lots of trees and cover, we were there just overnight but this will be one of our usual stops as we often go between DFW and Atlanta.

Our second stay was much better than the first. I had asked for a more level stay based on what we experienced at the first stay, and I was happy they could accommodate us since my husband has mobility issues. The new owner was very friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to engage with after a long day on the road.

We came into owning a campground from being campers. We know the road can be long, but a warm smile and clean facilities can go a looooong way to smoothing out the day! Glad we were able to have y’all join us for a night and can’t wait to have you back!

Host is really great and friendly. Only negatives is little to no food in office/store and our site #18 is extremely unlevel. It took 1-1x8 and 2-2x8 to bring the passenger side up to level!! Other than that it was a very quiet nights stay.

For a Journey, this is a pretty decent one. It’s “rustic” with gravel sites and the ones that did have cement pads were cracked and some uneven. The owner is super nice. The pool area is decent and the dog run was on the small side however was enough for our 64 lb dog. We’d stay here again for a one nighter. It’s back in the trees so that as nice.

We stayed overnight as we traveled East to Georgia. The campground met our needs perfectly. The spot we were in was plenty large enough and the park easy enough to navigate for our rig, TV and 42' 5th wheel. The park was just far enough off the highway that everything was nice and quiet at night but close enough that we were not on the paved county roads too long.

New owner is very passionate about making a Great campground. It was the cleanest KOA that we visited on our seven week trip. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Nice park, helpful staff. Had to change dates and they easily accommodated it. Arrived in driving rain and they lent me an umbrella. Original space was too small to stay hooked up to my tow and the my face me a larger pull/thru. Will come again!

Always a pleasant stay at this KOA campsite. It is such a nice place to walk my dog and get a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly check in. Referred us to a local "hole in the wall" restraunt that was fabulous! The Kawanee One Stop. The grounds, pool, showers, & sites were immaculate. Really enjoyed our stay! Cable & Mary at the front desk were very helpful and thorough.

Wonderful campground. Game room, large pool, excellent bathrooms/showers with small benches to keep your shoes and stuff off the floor. Very thoughtful owners, who know what they like camping is what we all would like. I personally loved the string lights lighting the roads. It made it easy to find the bathroom in the middle of the night and it looks magical.Will definitely be back to stay a few...
