I arrived at 145 pm to check in and was told I couldn’t check in until 2pm. That’s 15 minutes….. the spot was empty….. ????? WTF

Hey campers! An empty site is part of our ability to check folks in. Our little team has 120 minutes every day to do the things we can't do while checking in guests or helping them get on their way in the morning. Tidying up, doing projects, grading roads, and projects fit into this short window. :)

Meridian East/Toomsuba KOA has become my 2nd favorite KOA of all time! We have stayed here several times over the last couple of years and every time it’s a very quiet, pleasant and friendly experience, especially Charlie.

We love this place. The staff is friendly and efficient, the grounds are immaculate. It's a beautiful, quiet campground convenient to the interstate.

The owners were awesome! We had problems with our slide not coming in, so we were unable to leave. The owner worked with us every day, so we always knew we had a site! Very friendly and beautiful park

Nice clean and well kept campground. Nice pool and play area for Kids, my grandkids loved it. Quiet and easy on and off highway. Our visit was to see our grandkids and son and daughter. Nice area and close to meridian if you need to shop.

We don't often get kids rolling through Meridian East / Toomsuba. It was WONDERFUL to catch a few glimpses of families enjoying time at the playground! :)

Our site was accessible and level. No issues keeping towed attached. (Together about 65'). The manager at the camp was really friendly and very helpful. NOTE: On the approach to enter off the main road STAY ON THE PAVED ROAD. It is a little sharper turn to the right. We would stay there again, if we were in the area!

Totally on the mark with staying on the paved road at the intersection of KOA Campground Road and Will Garrett Road. SUPER hard to navigate the dirt road in anything bigger than a Jeep! :) Safe travels out there!!

Two things make for a tidy campground. Our AWESOME guests who believe in the principle of leaving no trace are the big part. The other part is gravity. It makes it easy to find the little bits that escape from our guests' watchful eyes! :)

The the Meridian East / Toomsuba KOA are well kept, clean and accessible, and the staff are polite and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better site to stay for the evening.

Beautiful property. I loved the string lights and the host was nice and hospitable. I highly recommend this location

No one on the team loves heights..the install spectacle was something to behold!! We grin a little each time someone mentions the lighting, knowing our time shaking on ladders was worth it!

We visit twice a year, heading South for the winter and North for the summer. The continuous improvements in the park are amazing: the owner is doing a marvelous job. This park has seen huge improvements over the 10 years to the sites and infrastructure. AND, there are new amenities that I would not have expected: fenced private dog parks by some sites. The park common areas are welcoming.

We really, really appreciate the feedback! You were one of our very first check-ins when we started rebuilding Meridian East last year. :) A year and a half in, we're finally at the point where we can walk the campground and be proud. Shout-outs to Mr. Chris and Ms. Kathy for keeping it sparkling!!

This is my go to overnight spot … always clean and quiet. Staff is always friendly.

Level site, we arrived just before dark. Easy check in. We received a phone call to zone in on our needs. Top shelf customer service!

We firmly believe we are not in the customer service business. :) As outdoor hospitality folks, we welcome guests into our backyard the same way we'd want to be welcomed when we load up the camper and hit the road. We are proud to host our guests in a tidy campground with plenty to do (or not do!).

We were arriving late so we really didn’t know what to expect. What a nice surprise to pull into a well lit beautiful campground!! We loved it!!

We always recommend the Rule of 3's..but usually don't follow them ourselves! :) We know that sometimes you just need to get miles behind you, have limited days off, or had a surprise on the road. Our super-easy night registration process combines what we've seen on our trips plus chill lighting. :)

So much TLC - loved the lights at night, the flower boxes, the well kept grounds. This is one of the best KOA’s we have ever visited. Thanks for all of your attention to detail. We will be back

The host was rude, not friendly at all, the sites are very tight. Close to the road which is very noisy. WiFi was horrible. Overall not a good experience we won't be back.

Odd review. The only guest note we have on this reservation was a mundane check-in. We reviewed the Wi-Fi logs and found nothing unusual during this stay. Pretty friendly folks over here. Wrong campground?

Everything was great . Only concern was right before we turned in a 18 wheeler can flying over hill and almost hit us. They do drive very fast for a back road.

The only complaint i have is their check in is at 2; most are at 1. Has quite a few rules - sounds strict too � unlike others. Pool looked nice, outside of some leaves (you are in the woods) but still got satellite service. Nice dog park if you use it. While you are there, search for the post that has an owl carved on it �. Clue. It's at one of the sites �! The owner also has cute welco

We haven't found the phantom KOA that allows ripping tires through grass, 24/7 dog barking, or loud music at night. We keep hearing, "The other KOA lets us do it." We know it's not here. We firmly believe each of our guests deserves a peaceful evening under the pines after a long day on the road. :)

We only stayed one night but it was such a cozy & clean campground. The owner/manager was so nice. Would go back!

We stayed here twice on a trip up and back from Texas to Georgia. Cabel was absolutely amazing. The park is clean, and they are adding upgrades. We would definitely stay here again. Convenient location to I20.

We stopped for an overnight stay in our 5th wheel on our way back home. Campground was nicely kept had a ton of amenities and easy access to and from the interstate.

Was a beautiful place with a lot of amenities including free air compressor. That was a really nice touch. The whole park was in great shape, nice lighting at night. Staff VERY friendly. I booked to stay here on my way home from a trip after we stayed here on our way to Tennessee from Texas.

While only available to a small portion of our guests due to its size and lack of a sewer connection, Site 19 is our favorite! :) We're glad y'all enjoyed it and the activities around the campground. See you on your next trip from the Lone Star State!

Due to the hurricane approaching we called to cstay a day earlier than planned. We were accommodated and given a wonderful site for the night! We were warmly greeted in after a very long travel day. Although we didn’t get a chance to utilize the whole campground we enjoyed a quiet evening in a wonderful spot. Site 49 is the beat! Thank you for having us in so we could get home to Florida safely!

Boo!!! On your Hurricane policy calling a forecast hurricane “Weather discomfort". A hurricane is a lot more severe than rain or cold which is understandable because those don’t trigger official emergency/extenuating circumstance policies, meaning no refunds, even if the trip is ruined. But a hurricane???? Very poor policy KOA!!! KOA and Meridian Toomsuba should feel ashamed!!!
