What began as a heartfelt dream to one day own a KOA campground has now become a reality for us! Hello! We are Christi and Ben, the proud new owners of Mena/Ouachita National Forest Journey KOA. We are campers too; and passionate about hospitality and providing a peaceful space for you to relax.
Restoring the campground to the KOA family was more than just a business decision; it is a homecoming. This partnership means access to expert knowledge, a supportive network of fellow owners, and the flexibility to manage our unique business within the KOA franchise. The iconic yellow sign at the entrance stands as a beacon, welcoming all and reminding guests that they are part of a larger family united by adventure and camaraderie.
As we embrace this new chapter, we are grateful for all who have supported Shadow Mountain RV Park along the way. We invite both longtime and new campers to join us on this adventure. Here, the personal touch of private ownership meets the expansive support of the KOA family—offering you the best of both worlds.
