Pros: The front office staff were very friendly. The space we got was very nice with concrete, 2 rockers, and a fire pit. We got a space with a cover and it was definitely needed in this Texas heat. The pool was big and very clean. Cons: management quit/left while we were there. Grass was tall and uncut. Fishing pond in the middle of tall grass with very little access. Pool closed at 9.

Grass was not trimmed, minimal amenities. Bathrooms, clubhouse and pool were clean. Just not complete, could not be classified as a KOA holiday. I understand there’s new owners and hopefully they’ll finish this campground and make it nice.

Great new pool and large k9 park, looks like KOA is remodeling. They could use more signs on outer roads.

Jami and Jeremy are awesome and very professional at running the park. Jami is a wonderful manager, she keeps everything running smoothly. They are very hands on and try their best to make sure that everyone is taken care of. They both care about the park personally and the visitors that come through it. Sites were big enough. Campground was spotless and beautiful. Pool area was gorgeous. Very quiet at night with all the nighttime sounds from the surrounding woods!

Good directions and easy to find, though it was off the beaten path. We only stayed overnight, however, it would have been nice if the grass had been cut, very high in the entire campground. Otherwise clean.

for a KOA, we were really disapointed. this location is severly understaffed. i under stand the managers had a family emergency that took them away for two weeks. but no one was available for any help of any kind.. the pool never got cleaned the time we were there, the grass was cut the first week but never moved the table. the 5 weeks we were ther, the grass was not cut again,

No employees seen on site. Half built facility. Very new and nice buildings that were complete. No pool or stores access. No trails.

The service on site was very poor. We were initially sold propane gas. When we arrived at the gas station, they suddenly said it wouldn't work. Our money has still not been refunded! The site is very dirty overall due to construction work. The pitches are very muddy and have deep holes in the middle.

This was probably the Best KOA ever. No traffic noise (especially trains). Park was super clean, pool was AWESOME, laundry room was immaculate and even had pet laundry washer and dryers for those hairy items......no quarters, tap pay device Staff was super friendly and accommodating. I decided to stay another night a recharge...Best prices too....Love it Oh yeah, Walmart close by!!

This was my second time staying at McKinney North/ Celina. I love how quiet and clean everything is. Jami and her husband were super helpful in recommending someone who could help me when a needed a part for my camper that blown off. I enjoy staying here and would recommend it.

The site were very muddy. Needed to be mowed,overall park not taken care of. Will not stay there again.

Managers were great and very friendly and accommodating. The sites need work, no grass as much as a lot of weeds and burrs also a lot of the pads need more gravel. Speed limit of 5 mph seems alittle slow and speed bumps to tall and shake the car. Love all the extra activity that you offer like pool table, exercise room and outside court

It is a nice new RV Park. Construction is still on-going. The facilities that are there are very nice. Our campsite was fine. They are over the top about their rules. Apparently I drove thru the park faster than the posted 5 mph. I was going 15 mph. In the space of 3 hours I had 2 texts and an email about it. I was also verbally chewed out when I called in to ask a question. Too much!

We have stayed at the Celina KOA several times over two years, watching ongoing construction. It was a new park at first, but months later, we faced water problems and now utility work. The park was not maintained, and dogs weren’t on leashes. Very disappointing, as it could be a nice park.

Ongoing construction appears to be an everyday the thing for the next couple of years. You speed bumps are friendly to tow vehicles or trailer. There are wider options. The one restroom building is too small for a complex this big. We were a bit further out for visiting family in North Dallas/Plano than our previous campground. No shade. We will probably be back. Looking forward to improvements.

Great quiet, comfortable space. Lots are not level and on gravel, so be aware if this bothers you. Nice pool (not heated) and gym/game room area. May need more shower facilities if the place is at capacity. It was not full when we were there, almost a private stay. Will stay again.

Expensive, very confined spaces with no privacy, construction and muddy water air in water hookup and had no warning, no discount for the construction, no apology for the inconvenience. I was charged full price for a place that is under construction.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They made a late check-in incredibly easy and they were quick to respond to a request for maintenance assistance. The park is quiet, cozy and peaceful. I look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the pool! �

Honestly, we were very disappointed with the manager Jamie. She was very rude, came to my house on a Sunday complaining about one of my guests speeding. I told her she should have sent me an email or text. When I spoke to her about this, she said “I have the right. It’s my park. We were going to rent long term. Not anymore, Be upset but show others respect. We won’t be back. Not to this loc

Had a great stay at this KOA! Friendly staff. I had a flat tire, and staff was kind, and helpful to allow me to stay longer to get my tire fixed. Amazing customer service! I recommend staying here, and will be back.

Stopped by to refill propane and use dump station….nice location! Great hospitality and prices!! Will def be back when in the area, thx! Only thing missing is the store is a little sparse compared to other KOAs but they're relatively newer location, so I'm sure it will be more stocked as they continue.

I tried four different locations but couldn't refill my propane tank. Finally, I found this campsite that met my needs. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely come back.
