We really loved this campground. It is located in the country with beautiful surroundings of nature, but still close to the wonderful town of Celina. The bath house was well maintained and I hope they are able to keep them that way as the park gets busier. Sites are well appointed and level. We would definitely stay here again.

It was clear the Park is new. It definitely did not seem ready for customers. The sites and landscape were lacking compared to what one would expect at a koa. I don't know if the price was discounted with that in mind. If it was, it would have gone a long way to communicate that so the expectation was lower. They would have done better to get a section ready and only put rvs there (my opinion).

We were a late arrival, We met the owners the next morning. They were very welcoming as well as informational. The KOA is very clean. It is very refreshing to see the owners encouraging a young youth artist/photographer to empower him on a venture of his passion. We admired all of his photos and handmade frames. We also purchased one of his collections, I would like to say thank all! Will be back!

This KOA is in a beautiful setting, and the facilities are clean and very nice. The roads in the facility were asphalt, although the sites were gravel. It rained all weekend, so everything was a bit muddy. The facility is close to I-75, so it’s easy to get there from there, but if you are coming from the west (Celina, for example), it’s challenging.

It’s a new camp ground and they are working like crazy to get more spots open. Nice and clean amenities, owners are super friendly and will go the extra mile to help.

We had originally booked two consecutive nights, but due to issues with our travel trailer, had to change our reservations. Staff were exceptionally helpful in allowing us to alter our reservations. The campground is very spacious and the sights were level. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Glad to know they are expanding their campground - would definitely recommend this campground.

Very new KOA with very nice facilities and extra long pull through spots! Kids had a blast playing at the park during our short, overnight stay.

Beautifully situated, this brand new campground had all the amenities needed to make my stay comfy. Bathrooms are very clean and the clubhouse is awesome! The location is great, very quiet and relaxing. Thank you! Will definitely return!

Just opened, so the property is still in development, but it is clear from the existing groundwork of clubhouse, pool area, tennis/pickle ball, basketball courts, streets, and sites, this is already a great campground. The on-site managers are friendly and genuinely care about your experience. The location is nestled into ranch land, very quiet, but only 30 minutes from the Dallas suburbs.

While it is beautiful here. I am hoping it is a work in progress as our site during the rain had severe flooding. It looks like they are working on the issue. If I need to come to the area again I would stay for a night or 2.

Brand new, friendly staff, nice pool and free BBQ lunch when we arrived. Nice bathroom but shower floor and toilet area are same level so when showering, water goes over to sink and toilet area and close to door to outside. The pull through Site was nice but somewhat uneven. We understand they are brand new and some things need to be tweaked a little. We will definitely return here.

Brand new campground with plenty of amenities. We've stayed at a lot of KOAs, and Steve was one of the friendliest hosts we've had so far! Definitely follow their instructions for getting to the campground - it will save you time & about 5 miles!

Stayed during your opening week and found the campground to be fantastic. Quiet but still close to good shopping and food. Plan to stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the new facility while we were visiting our son in McKinney for Thanksgiving. Korrie was an awesome host. Delicious holiday pies and good conversations. Enjoyed some quality time playing ping pong and shooting pool in the clubhouse. Looking forward to seeing the completed facility on our next visit.

The campground is obviously having start up issues. Sites were marginal, narrow, only gravel and no grass handy for the dogs. The weeds were bad and provided plenty of cockleburs for the dogs. We spent a lot of time picking them off. Not likely to return until major improvements have been made. And better signage would be a huge plus.

No signs to let you know you are on the right road. The roads on the way my navigation system brought me there proved that the roads are very dangerous. I left on another route and it was no different, dangerous roads. The danger for large RV's is the most dangerous. The asphalt is cracked and slid downhill. There is going to be an accident glad you have not gotten to larger visitor groujps.

The KOA McKinney North is brand new, and they have had a rough start from what we know. They had a water break so we had no water for a few days. Not a big deal since we could use showers at our son's house. Avery did a great job keeping us apprised of what was going on. It is a nice campground. They just need to work through some new construction issues. We will use them again.

The campground management team was exceptional and a beautiful campground. For large motorhomes the challenge is access from Hwy 75 and lack of signage which we would typically see providing guidance to the KOA entrance. We understand that there are road improvements expected by the county/city and that current signage restrictions may be eased once those improvements are completed.

While this campground could potentially become a nice campground, in our opinion it did not need to be open for business yet for the following reason…The grass looked like it has never been mowed. The shower house was locked and couldn’t be used. We had to hunt for a restroom. There were cows in the campground every day. No one was ever in the office/store that was supposed to be open daily

We were excited to try out this KOA. It isn't far from I75 but far enough to not hear the highway noise. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. The grass/weeds that surround each gravel campsite are in bad need of mowing, even around the picnic tables. They are also narrow sites. The roaming cows need to be corraled. More than 10 were grazing in the campground at times. We hope improvements are made

Had a great stay at this KOA! Friendly staff. I had a flat tire, and staff was kind, and helpful to allow me to stay longer to get my tire fixed. Amazing customer service! I recommend staying here, and will be back.

Stopped by to refill propane and use dump station….nice location! Great hospitality and prices!! Will def be back when in the area, thx! Only thing missing is the store is a little sparse compared to other KOAs but they're relatively newer location, so I'm sure it will be more stocked as they continue.

I tried four different locations but couldn't refill my propane tank. Finally, I found this campsite that met my needs. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely come back.
