We stay in Lyman on both our first day of our trip and the last day if possible. Everyone goes above and beyond being helpful, friendly, and just pleasant people. This year I dropped off 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies as a thank you. I hope they got shared and were enjoyed.

The campground is about a mile from the interstate, there is fuel at the exit. The facilities were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a nice quiet respite from the travel day. There aren't any stores or restaurants close by, this is an FYI for travelers, it is not a knock on the campground. It is a family ran operation and that is a nice change.

We were surprised to find an outdoor kitchen. We didn't use it, but that would be great to make use of if we're ever in the area again. The pool looked inviting, but it was a cold evening, so we passed.

The luxury cabin was roomy. A little updating will go a long way. The beds were horrible and left us with sleepless nights. There was a lot of dust settled on window sills. The armoire in the bedroom had a broken door panel that could easily be fixed with some wood glue. Water heater is small, so shower quickly! We spent a lot of time killing flies, was greatful they provided a fly swatter.

Nice park. Staff was very nice. The grounds are kept nicely. We had a little challenge leveling the RV due to slope, but it all worked out. We had a very nice site, on an end with a beautiful sunrise! We would stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights in mid-July and highly recommend as a base camp location for backpacking King’s Peak (1 hour away). Quiet campground, good showers, laundry, pool, small store, soft serve ice cream, wifi… what more could you want post hike?

Owner Clint, was not very friendly. Property needs some maintenance. The one bright spot was the lady in the office wearing brite colors. Usually yellow. Name starts with an N. She was very friendly and helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I guess the owner would be considered not very friendly when you have to enforce rules. Each night we had complaints from other guests that they were very noisy at 11:00 PM. Also this quest was not happy that I would not allow people who were not staying on the campground come and swim for the day.

Most of the sites are water and electric only. There's a dump site on the way out. The RV Park is a mile away from I-80 and quiet. The sites are roomy, well maintained. Roads and parking in the sites are gravel. Pool looked clean and the play yard for kids was nicely equipped. Looks like a great place for tenters, as well.

Actually most of our sites are not just water & electric. Unfortunately this person only had a water & electric site because they made a reservation last minute and our full hook-ups were sold out.

We rented a delux cabin and a standard cabin for our party. The cabins were clean and comfortable. The entire campground was well-maintained and quiet. It was easy to find and the staff members were kind and helpful. We are looking for reasons to stay again!

This is a fantastic little KOA. Grass and trees and great staff. The grocery store is about 5 miles away but worth it very close to Fort Bridger, which is a must see Lyman KOA for me is rated one of the best little spots

We’ve stayed here numerous times and it is always nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sites are grassy and easy to access. This is where we will continue to stay when we travel to Wyoming .

Very peaceful stay. Short toilets are so difficult for us older folks, even with a grab bar. I’d recommend replacing them. Fortunately, we can use the potty in our RV. Loved hearing the Sandhill cranes surrounding the campground, the friendly staff, and access to Ft Bridger.

We had a great time staying at the Lyman KOA. Our camp spot had beautifully manicured grass, fire pit, and picnic table. The thing I believe we like the most about the camp in general was its distance from I 80. I believe it was 1.1 miles away nevertheless You couldn’t hear the trucks at night and it was extremely quiet.. The pool was heated and well maintained super clean. Soft serve ice cream

Top-tier quality customer service! We were immediately welcomed by caring staff. The high winds were severe enough to be a safety concern. Staff members made every effort to provide us a site with enough protection so we could pitch our small tent for the night. THANK YOU STAFF! Facilities and grounds are well-tended and clean. We will definitely visit again when we travel that direction.

It's far enough from the interstate that you don't get any traffic noise. The pool looks nice, too bad they didn't have a hot tub to soak the travel woes away. The have a snack bar in the evening plus Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the gift shop along with some other goodies and miscellaneous travel items.

Great experience! Everyone was kind and professional. Facilities were clean and well kept. Showers were great. Pool was very good.
