Super friendly staff, concrete pad, level and enough space not to crowd neighbors. Beautiful landscape. We were here over the 4th of July and we saw several firework shows from our site. Bathrooms a bit older, but super clean. Dog park was clean and enough room to run.

Love our stay! It was very cool that when I checked in I found out that our campground host was personal friends with my cousin. She was close to his wife and daughters. Would stay here again on our way back east.

Our stay with this campground was amazing! The hosts were so wonderful and great to work with. They were very understanding and helpful with all of our needs of the forgotten items, to accidental mishaps. The facilities were well maintained and clean. Activities all over the place for my children. Anyone driving through should stop and have a stay here. Amazing campground all around.

First, the sites are long but too close together. Second, the wifi worked great. Third, it's quiet since the freeway is fairly far away. I'd stay again.

We came looking for places to ride our Rzr. The campground is about 9 miles from what locals call Badlands. It had some great riding for us but for the bravest motorcyclists it’s insane!

Everyone was very helpful! We had a beautiful site #26. Laundry facilities were clean and the pool was clean. Great stay! We asked if we could stay an hour more and that was no problem! Thank you!

One of the best KOA stays we've ever experienced. Beautiful snowcap mountain views, cool grassy RV spots with pull-thru full hook-ups. Great Staff. Thank you Lyman KOA!!!

Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The pool is beautiful and such a piece of history in style. We loved the grounds and there was plenty of room to walk the dog and the dog park. Great laundry and store, too! Highly recommend!

Nice folks, clean campground. Our only negative is how close campers are parked to each other and campers are parked in opposite directions so that your doors open facing each other a few feet away. Would be easy enough for the guide to direct everyone to park in the same direction giving at least a little privacy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I would agree that parking everyone in the same direction would give some privacy. The issue would then be half of the people would have the hook-ups on the wrong side for their rig.

Very nice campground. It is well maintained and clean. The staff are not only professional, but extremely kind and friendly. They do a great job of maintaining the campground and making a visitors stay quite pleasant. When traveling I80 in the future, I will stop at the Lyman KOA.

Love this KOA! Stayed an extra two days just to relax. Heated pool was nice and family run. Reminds me of the one’s I used to stay in as a kid.

Registration was excellent. People were so friendly. We had trouble with our motorhome and they were so very helpful. Don’t think we have experienced that at any other koa. Clean facilities and good food…..

Great stop overnight, (or longer if staying in the area)! Clean restrooms and showers, great staff, very friendly and helpful. Nicest KOA in the area (Rock Springs/Rawlins/Lyman) IMO. Internet, was good as was cell signal (T-Mobile). Sites are level, with grass and picknic tables.

Site is located about a mile away from the interstate so there is no freeway noise. The sites are good sized, with grass and a park-like setting. There is a nice playground and basketball court to keep the kids happy. Very peaceful and relaxing setting, would definitely stay here again. There is a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. This is my most favorite KOA to date.

This is our third or fourth time of staying here. It is a great when using I80 which we do heading from Oregon to Nebraska. The staff is always wonderful and helpful. I like their little cafe for when we don't want to cook or simply want a little ice cream. The property is always kept up when we are there. They have most of the amenities that you would want. It is just nice and quiet.

Top-tier quality customer service! We were immediately welcomed by caring staff. The high winds were severe enough to be a safety concern. Staff members made every effort to provide us a site with enough protection so we could pitch our small tent for the night. THANK YOU STAFF! Facilities and grounds are well-tended and clean. We will definitely visit again when we travel that direction.

It's far enough from the interstate that you don't get any traffic noise. The pool looks nice, too bad they didn't have a hot tub to soak the travel woes away. The have a snack bar in the evening plus Ben and Jerry's ice cream in the gift shop along with some other goodies and miscellaneous travel items.
