Flaming Gorge Recreation area 60 miles from the campground.
Fossil Butte National Monument 45 miles from the campground.

Fossil Butte is located 45 miles to the northwest. Here you can see all kinds of fossils. There are private companies nearby Fossil Butte that offer fossil digs.
