We only stayed for the night because we are headed home . Had it been the beginning of our trip we would have stayed an extra night . Very accommodating park and staff. See you again sometime!

Entrance was well kept. Tent sites were ok. Had lots of small garbage around. Dog yards were not mowed and had sparse grass anyway. Just needs a manicure. Staff were super friendly. Bathrooms were clean. Laundry was good.

Pros: Friendly staff, weeds were mowed. No trash laying around. Nice dog park (but dog trash was overflowing and had a horrendous odor) *More grass and less rocks would be nice* Cons: Sites are too close and not as long as advertised. Sewer connection was stripped and hard to use. Fire rings are too close to the next rig and are a fire hazard. Price was ridiculous for an outdated small rv park.

Unfortunately the day I checked in, there was heavy rain. The site I was assigned was flooded and area around the fire pit, grill, and back side was impassable. The bathhouse was clean and easy to get to from my site.

We arrived at 5:58, office hours says they close at 6. They were already closed. Signage on spots is confusing...is the spot to the left or the right of the numbered sign. Can't tell. TV hookup wire was cut. So, no TV. Internet showed as available. But when I tied to connect, the message came thru that Limon KOA had no Internet available. Dog park waste bins needed emptying.

The flies were so bad it was hard to enjoy the day we spent there. Clearly the park is dirty and needs to be thoroughly cleaned. We stayed at the park on two occasions, within two weeks of each other. The first time we were there we were on the site close to the dump station and the Trash area. We attributed the flies to that location. Yesterday we stayed on the other side. Same issue. Bad..

The office and store was closed when we arrived at 5:45. I’m the kind of guy that would have bought an ice cream treat or something at night. You are losing sales by not being open in the evening

Nice, clean campground. Was hesitant to stay from recent reviews…other than an odor in the bathroom (which I’ve stayed in other flatland KOAs with the same smell) our stay over was nice, quiet and clean. We did not swim but the pool was very clear and looked great! Level sites. Would 100% stay again!

Ok for overnight. Very tight spacing between sites. Adjacent site people were practically sitting on sewer cap. Minimal grass mostly thistle and kochia. Pool water cold.

SPOTLESS campground!! It was beautifully maintained, the store was FULL of awesome things and gifts. The staff was helpful and kind and more than willing to help with anything I needed. I LOVED it!!

The site we stayed in way perfect for our length RV and truck. We particularly appreciated the pull through convenience. The only negative I can say about the campground which I’m not sure they would have control over is the amount of flies in the area we woke to. They were all over the place, it was like an invasion!!! It took most of our trip to get them out of our vehicle!

Rates are not the same as advertised on KOA web site they were higher when booked. Services at sites are water and electricity, No sewer, WiFi or cable available to check weather forecast or see the news. It was like a dust bowl because thy just graded some lots and roads in the park. Should reevaluate the rates.

Our cabin was clean and comfortable with the windows closed. The showers were really dirty. The showers had wads of hair and spider webs. The tiled flooring needed cleaned. It would be nice if marijuana use was banned from this location like other KOA campgrounds have done. That way you can open your windows and sit outside without the smell of marijuana permeating your cabin and clothing.

We did not use it but pool looked nice. The bathrooms were somewhat clean but obviously not cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis. Campsites are horrible. Very close together and not kept very well. Grass or I would call weeds are overgrown. And very overpriced.

Friendly service, nice store with camping stuff, food and souvenirs. Nice swimming pool. The campground is gravel with hardly any shade. The toilets were clean but the showers could use a good scrubbing. Overall good stay.

Cabin was dirty. A small animal pillow bed was under a bunk in cabin. Lots of moths dust in corners, definitely not cleaned. Staffer was helpful in cleaning it. Staffer left office before closing , almost couldn’t get ice the night before a long drive. Needs to improve.

Stayed there 3 nights. The bathrooms were not cleaned the whole time we were there. No trees to speak of. The place looked shabby. Noise from I 70 was quite loud. The bunnies were nice.

Sites poorly maintained. Run down, abandoned RV on next site over. Grasses around site and firepit about a foot tall. Restrooms not as clean and modern as most.

Very restful after a long day of traveling. The gentleman who i spoke to to make the reservation was very nice and accommodating. I didn’t go into the store to do any shopping so I can’t rate that but someone was cooking and it smelled good when we checked in.

The entire campground was filthy. Garbage et such. Pool was so dirty we couldn’t use it. I found multiple screws in the drive areas resulting in a flat tire for us. We will not stay or recommend Limon KOA at all!

Nice well maintained facility for an overnight stop. Great showers and bathrooms. Nice store, pool and playground. Only bad thing was mosquitoes. It’s very flat farmland all around and they had a lot of rain before we stayed there, which might explain that. We actually stayed there twice on one trip because of the good experience.

We paid the highest we’ve ever paid for a KOA and it looked like the worst KOA we’ve ever pulled into! There was no grass to be seen nor a tree. My dog did not have a place to go potty and the staff was rude. we are KOA members and military. We did not see the discount nor did they reflect that on our receipt! They said they gave us the discount! Not So! So.

We stayed for 3 nights and I would stay again. Good Journey campground. Well stocked store and friendly staff. Could stream on the wifi and the pool looked inviting. We did not use the laundry our showers. The high pressure was welcome for our black tank flush. We did use a pressure regulator for the rest of our water needs.

Location was ideal for travelling RVers. The grounds & dog park were well cared for. The staff at check in were friendly & helpful. Sites were big enough to stay overnight with out unhooking tow vehicle.

Best part of our stay was the pool and pizza. You need cement pull ins so you are not walking through water everywhere due to rain storms.

What was supposed to be a one night stay during a trip from Illinois to Glenwood Springs turned into a 5 night stay due to an extreme snow storm. Not only were they out there everyday plowing the snow the staff was very nice and accommodating. They even gave us a free night. Would definitely stay here again. The sites were a little narrow but level and well maintained.
