The people that run this facility were great! The facilities were very nice and clean. We were camping in a tent and one thing that is important to a tent camper is that they have level ground. The tent camping area was a little bit of an incline and it made it very difficult for sleeping at night.

I was traveling through KY and needed to make a last minute reservation. The host was great and set me up with a tent site close to the entrance and the restrooms for easy access since I would be arriving late at night. Took all of five minutes to make the reservation.

Pretty campground. However, unmaintained. All tent sites on hills? Mine in a dirt area. Sharp stones, glass. Rainstorm. Tent destroyed by mud. My car sunk in mud. Owner helped me get unstuck. But he actually yelled at me in anger. Yikes. No pool. Laundry closed except reg. busin. hours. Owner said to 'hurry up.' Showers razor sharp. Cut skin. Would injure an eye. No heat in bathroom. Rough one. ~

Rain storm out of my control. Pool opens May 15th when it warms up. Camper was given a choose of which tent site. Not sure what she is talking about in the showers. We went out of our way to help this camper.

My husband didn't get to stay. It was pouring rain and he couldn't find his site. I ended up getting him a hotel.

I'm sorry but I can not control the weather. When you arrive after hours there is a envelope taped to the office door with a map to your site. There is also a phone number on the envelope to call if you need help and people on site to help.

Had a great overnight stay. A picnic table would have been helpful at my tent camping site, but I got by okay. Plan to return. Very friendly management.

Comfortable and with all the amenities. What I loved most about this campground was the designated dog play area. My husband loved the nice fishing spot.

Of the dozen or so campgrounds we have stayed in since owning our RV, I can say that the hosts here are the most accomodating we have encountered. Very friendly, and will go out of their way to please. Another we noticed about them: They were always cleaning. This is the cleanest park we have been in, KOA or otherwise. The showers (4) and camp restrooms are spotless, as is the pool. The laundry room is the same, and the washers and dryers (4 of each, $2 per load on each) are extremely clean. The equipment works well. There is a camp store selling RV essentials (i needed a new waterhose and they had one), as well as a small selection of grocery basics: paper towels, mustard, ketchup, and mayo, napkins, etc. There are cabin rentals, tent sites, and RV sites with full hookups. A dump station is on site, and propane is available for sale. The RV sites are gravel and level. RV sites have a picnic table and firepit. There is ample room for a half dozen or so lawn chairs at most sites. Lots of grassy areas to walk your fur buddies, as well as an enclosed dog park, which like the rest of the campground, is well maintained. There is a local grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as a liquor store, several C-Stores, and gas stations. We did not try any of the area's restaurants but the hosts have a list of all the ones in the area. Fine dining is available in nearby Paducah. The campground is literally 5 minutes to the I 24 on ramp. Unlike many RV parks, this campground does not resemble a parking lot. The campsites are nestled in between rolling hills, which creates a more serene environment, IMO. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to return.
