Campground Reviews

Very nice couple are the owners. Very friendly, and helpful. They renovating their office, but it certainly wasn’t an issue. We had a great pull-thru site. The Wi-Fi worked well. The roads inside the campground are a bit tight. We are in a 35’ class A towing a Jeep. It was a great overnight stop.

The kampground looked run down, we didn’t feel safe, kampground needs an overhaul or cleaned up.

Great park!

The sites are very undeveloped. We had to unhook in two pull thru sites. There is a bright street light right above the pull thru sites we were in. It was daylight coming in our windows all night.

Everyone involved was friendly and helpful. While not the fanciest KOA we've ever used, they delivered on what they promised and that in itself is worth a five-star rating.

Clean cabin and bathrooms. Wifi bandwidth poor and campground was less than 1/3 full.

We had a brake line go out on our RV and the staff was very helpful. Campground and facilities were clean. The fenced in dog area was very nice . Pups loved running around after a long day of travel.

Very pleasant over night stay--great facilities, and absolutely delightful and attentive campground hosts! This particular facility is an example of what KOA campgrounds everywhere should be.

Overnight stay. Google maps had wrong location for this campground. Scenery in the campground was very nice. Lots of trees. The site was too small for my trailer. We were to have a pull through site. It was too narrow to make the exit turn. There was a small tree that was blocking the exit. I had to back out of the site. Very little space between campsites.

Dogs are supposed to be on a leash. Couple working while we we were there had their dog running all over.

Jeannette was very helpful & polite. We were excited about staying there until check in. Guess Nancy & her male assistant..both in KOA shirts about snapped my head off when I mentioned our GPS was giving wrong directions thinking they'd want to know.. Gave me an earful about their already knowing & it's not their fault...kind of tuned them out..got the 'welcome' stuff & left the office. Not again

Pretty park! Nice facilities!!

Beautiful spot. Convenient to the interstate and restaurants but far enough away you don’t hear the interstate traffic noise. This place was very quiet overnight. John the camp host was awesome. He checked on us several times to ensure we were settled in. We were able to park and maneuver a 44’ coach no problem. Only recommendation is some spots could use a little leveling. I will stay here ag

Very nice owners. We were greeted and taken to our site promptly. Sites were shaded/private/level. The bathrooms were clean. Access to KOA with instructions easy to find. The reason I withheld 5 star is the grade of the sites. There is quite a grade change in the some sites. I would have liked to have a better image of site to have known. We missed our dump access being damaged by inches.

Comfortable and with all the amenities. What I loved most about this campground was the designated dog play area. My husband loved the nice fishing spot.

Of the dozen or so campgrounds we have stayed in since owning our RV, I can say that the hosts here are the most accomodating we have encountered. Very friendly, and will go out of their way to please. Another we noticed about them: They were always cleaning. This is the cleanest park we have been in, KOA or otherwise. The showers (4) and camp restrooms are spotless, as is the pool. The laundry room is the same, and the washers and dryers (4 of each, $2 per load on each) are extremely clean. The equipment works well. There is a camp store selling RV essentials (i needed a new waterhose and they had one), as well as a small selection of grocery basics: paper towels, mustard, ketchup, and mayo, napkins, etc. There are cabin rentals, tent sites, and RV sites with full hookups. A dump station is on site, and propane is available for sale. The RV sites are gravel and level. RV sites have a picnic table and firepit. There is ample room for a half dozen or so lawn chairs at most sites. Lots of grassy areas to walk your fur buddies, as well as an enclosed dog park, which like the rest of the campground, is well maintained. There is a local grocery store 5 minutes away, as well as a liquor store, several C-Stores, and gas stations. We did not try any of the area's restaurants but the hosts have a list of all the ones in the area. Fine dining is available in nearby Paducah. The campground is literally 5 minutes to the I 24 on ramp. Unlike many RV parks, this campground does not resemble a parking lot. The campsites are nestled in between rolling hills, which creates a more serene environment, IMO. We loved our stay here and would not hesitate to return.
